Sent a text detailing something funny that happened to me the other day to a girl I met the weekend there. It didn't really warrant a reply, I sent it to my mates as well, but just curious if its odd that she didn't reply (was yesterday I sent it). We've already spoke of meeting again this weekend, it's just trying to avoid sending 2 consecutive texts for me. Sorry if poorly written, had to write fast.

No argument here, I only said it because it's never ended badly after I've used it. But I do agree that it'd be more appropriate to compliment her fashion. It really depends on the girl

I just listen to upbeat music that helps me get the adrenaline flowing. Also whenever I do this, I get small slideshows in my head of all the nice things I've heard people say about me in the past; stuff like that reminds me of who I am and always gets me a great mood.

Compliment her. I rarely ever have something to instantly talk about but making her feel more pretty can't be a bad thing. She's spent at least 2 hours making herself look gorgeous for you, yes you, so throw her a bone! Then throw in the "r" later

"Who said we were going to?" Being witty can be good in this case I think. It can put her in a state of "wait does he not want to?" Because she's obviously thinking much of herself to assume you wanna bump uglies in a heartbeat

It's irony in some way! I never let myself get in such states. I can hold down quite a lot of drink if I had to but rarely have to. It was that mutual look we shared, as if to say "ah..shit"

I can see where you're coming from and thank you for your honest output. I probably should've put more detail in, but I wasn't googling over her all night. Sure she caught my attention, but I continued socialising and enjoyed the night with my mates.
