Have you watched the documentary The Red Pill? It was made by a woman named Cassie Jaye. It's pretty well done. And you might find you see eye to eye with her on many issues.

I'd join a men's club run by inspiring men. That sounds cool. I'd have no problem paying dues for that. Like the elks club or something. But I'm not down for organized crying circles and stuff. Haha

So what about a men's club? Like freemasons, or knights of Columbus, but without all the pomp and religion.

Lawyer up and sue the school. And maybe sue the accuser for defamation.

I think so. But I understand your desire. And I would say that we shouldn't be teaching this anti-male, and intersectional ideological nonsense in publicly funded institutions. Why should we pay people to teach bigoted ideologies, that undermine the foundations of this nation? I think it's a bad idea. So you sort of have a point.

Na, I think the best way to combat shitty ideas is to talk about them, and compare them to good ideas. Freedom of speech is not negotiable in my country for a reason.

Maybe it's time for America to stop funding the U.N.... I mean if they're going to belittle the biggest group of deaths from this virus, then why should I give a damn what they think? I personally like the idea of the U.N., but I'm over giving a fuck about people who don't care about me.

You don't need to shame this guy. That's not productive either. He's just shooting the shit with you, not even being too much of a dick (just a little light ribbing) and you put him on blast on this sub. I may not agree with his stance, but I'd just talk to him, as he seemed receptive and communicative. So there's no need to try and shame the dude.

It's somewhat liberating to know I don't particularly matter when compared with 50% of society. It has caused me to give far fewer fucks, and it's also caused me to be a bit more pragmatic with my approach to things.

Seems reasonable. Although some of them seem to have relationships (even if they're short lived). But they're with guys that're kind of pathetic, and even they know this (unfortunately one of my relatives is like this... married once, engaged 3 times, dated felons, etc. And still in her 20s). So what's the term for a woman who can't catch a decent man, despite thinking she's God's gift to mankind? I mean delusional seems apt, but it's too broad. What about "Delusifem"?

If I was able to teach myself to change the oil in my car, and do all the other maintenance to it (just from my cars manual). Then anyone can learn to change a tire, just look at the manual, ask for some help from someone, or look up a YouTube. Also, if you're going to change your own oil, or get underneath your car for any reason, buy some ramps, or some other safe way to lift your car (not just the tire jack). I learned that's pretty dangerous and a surprising amount of people die doing it.

It's a slowly changing trend. I'm not snipped, my last bosses didn't get their boys snipped. It'll probably never change for religious communities, but certainly in the secular community it's becoming less and less popular. I suppose it could be stopped slowly in religious communities... But you'd likely need to take an approach similar to what doctors did to put a halt to female genital mutilation in certain American communities; which was to say that a little harmless knick with a scalpel was …

I still disagree with her, I think the "believe all women" is a stupid and dangerous idea. Sure, I would like to see Biden getting his comeuppance for creating this situation we're in now, and I think he will. But I'm not going to give her credit; as that would essentially be saying that it's best practice to "believe all women", regardless of evidence or how reliable they are as a witness, which it is not.

She won't see a day in jail, even if she is found guilty. They'll argue "punishing her just makes it so real victims won't want to come forward because of fear of repercussions". Which is a bull shit argument, only false accusers would need to be worried; because just like any other accused person they'll get a fair trial and only be punished if found guilty. But mark my words, this is the same argument that has repeatedly gotten women who have made false rape accusations out of trouble, and it'…

Things happen to people... Maybe a man had a head injury at work, maybe he became depressed, maybe he got sick. Things occur which can drastically change a man's situation, sometimes very quickly. While, conversely, a dead beat can become a valuable & contributing member of society, if he has the proper motivation and opportunity. I think it's very important not to hold too firm on labels, because it can discourage the possibility of improvement with individuals, and stop us from recognising cha…

So, for the sake of argument... What's the difference between a widow and a woman who married a decent man, who later became a dead beat, or a drug addict? I've seen guys marrying nice gals, who later became monsters.

Very good point. And it's an example of toxic feminism. Because there is feminists I agree with, like Christina Hoff Sommers.
/r/MensRights29/03/20 01:30 PM

Not really... I agree toxic femininity exists. But feminists have hijacked the definition, and they never will acknowledge actual toxic femininity. Instead they just say it means when a woman is so incredibly self sacrificing that it harms her well being and how she has "internalized oppression". If you don't believe me check out this ridiculous wiki page: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internalized_sexism#%22Toxic_femininity%22 It's a total crock of shit.

Yup. And just so you all know I found this sub r/toxic_femininity the other day, and I think it has some real potential. Because if people really want to have a toxic masculinity conversation, then we need to have a toxic femininity conversation too, for equalities sake. We can discuss things like being manipulative, gossipy, and other very poor behaviors women are more prone to. On this subject... Yea it's fucked for all the young people coming up. In school (college/university included) most of us have a somewhat tacit idea that adults who are teachers and professors all know what they're talking about, at least to an extent. Which is clearly not the case, and many of these "educators" fill these young people's minds with total garbage, which they would've been better off never knowing. You're right, there's totally a double standard. There's a LOT of double standards for men. And I think on this sub, we'd all agree, it's very harmful to men. But I'd go further, and say it's harmful to women as well, and it will become more so over time. As it's not only harmful for society to have many alienated young men, but it's also very damaging to the relations between men and women on a personal level. I listened to the whole thing. It's bull shit that this woman still couldn't relate her story to men falsely accused, in fact she does just the opposite... A little past 10 minutes before the end of the audio, she compares what she went through to actresses deep-fake porn videos, or women being doxed & trolled online saying "our story is more akin to those stories than any thing to do with title IX". Why would these professors care if people saw their lectures? If they present valid arguments and reasoning, then they should be happy to share their wisdom; in fact, if their point of view is better thought out, they might even change some minds of people they'd probably label as bigots (unjustly & justly). And why wouldn't academics who rely on book sales, their reputation, and their work in their field for their livelihood, not want their name to get out there? The only logical conclusion, th…

Most guards just go to it as a job, they're not sadists. The job itself, and the way our prisons/jails are set up, leads to some guards becoming jaded and abusive. There was a well done investigative report done on this by an NPR affiliate, where the journalist found himself almost becoming abusive to the inmates. Furthermore, if you really do want a solution to this problem, then the guards are going to need to be part of the conversation. Calling them mother fuckers isn't going to do that. Pro…

Google changed the name of fathers day to "parents day", because apparently it's discriminatory to trans people. Don't ask me how it's discriminatory and mothers day is not, that's for people WAY more woke than me.

If you're against men's rights (aka men and women having equal rights in society), then you are fundamentally against equality, and egalitarian ideals. Maybe someone can convince me I'm wrong, I'm all ears on that front, but it hasn't happened yet.

Someone, for the sake of satire, should just get a bunch of people to say they don't feel safe with female drivers, and send a fake business proposal to the media for a male only car service. When they inevitably get asked, "why wouldn't you feel safe with female drivers?" Just make a bunch of jokes about how women are terrible drivers. Founding and reinvigorating men's clubs and organizations. THIS, is an answer. Women have their groups, we should have ours. Keep it somewhat discreet when you're forming it, and make it something that'll be helpful to you and your brothers. There's a LOT of issues that men, young men in particular, need to address these days. Speaking of whores, here's a pro tip I read in an interesting book: if you ever are wanting to get a prostitute, tell her you'll pay to film having sex with her, if it's an undercover officer, she'll have to refuse, because prostitution is illegal, but making pornography is legal.

I was talking about something similar earlier this evening (in that it's important for men to share their experiences with other men & people in general)... The thing that stood out in our conversation was: "it's unfortunate that older men seem to really be isolated in western society, there's something seriously wrong with that". I don't know what the solution is, but I think there needs to be one. I was thinking men's booth clubs, but that idea doesn't seem to get traction.

My problem with this is that you should have control over what's done with your DNA, and a big part of that is not having your DNA put into some database to be exploited by private industry (ie/ insurance companies, employers, etc.) and governments (ie/ racist authoritarian regimes). So if there's a clause written into the law that all DNA samples used for the paternity test are immediately destroyed after verifying paternity, then I totally agree with you.

That's not the case. Men pay more for car insurance than women (all other things being equal). Also they make you pay more if you've had accidents or tickets. The fact you're saying otherwise tells me you know nothing about insurance. I, however, am currently licensed as an insurance agent by my state in multiple lines of insurance.

I was somewhat with you until that part about MGTOW. I'm MGTOW and I don't hate women, nor do I buy into the overly sexist leanings of some MGTOW, but I understand why men feel that way. I just don't want to hitch my wagon to a shit deal and think I'll be happier on my own. Just because some members are a bit extreme (and there's MRAs like that too), doesn't mean the whole concept is garbage. And as far as PUAs go, I think it's empowering to men to learn how to hit on women, there's nothing wron…

Even if he called the cops they don't take missing persons reports for adults that quickly, and she may have texted him an excuse. Also, in my experience people who are habitually lying (be it about affairs, or drug use, or theft) tend to get more and more brazen until they're caught. But I agree it sounds too amazing to be true.

My old boss told me a story about one of his gambling buddies, who I'd met in Vegas. He started dating a gal who admitted she'd done some adult film stuff. His friend said he didn't want to hear much about it and it was just cam girl stuff, mostly by herself. My boss and his other friends searched around for this girl after they figured out her porn name. I should start by saying you never really hear any politician really specifically address men's issues. It's not a popular topic and I don't see it becoming one anytime soon. However, I hear politicians on the left promote policies and agendas that actively neglect, and occasionally directly harm, men's issues. So if I had to pick between a group I'm now leaning right. And I'm very much in the middle ground of the political spectrum. I'm not a single issue voter, and on some issues I'm liberal, …

I personally think paternity tests for kids (where they immediately destroy any DNA samples taken from the childern and parent after the test is completed) should be mandated by law. I've heard of too many cases where a man was tricked into raising another man's child, and then being on the hook financially, when he tries to do the reasonable thing after finding out he's a cuck, and leave.

I wish this weren't the case: but even if a man is found innocent of a rape or sexual assault allegation, it still sticks on them like dog shit to a shoe.

I think this chick wants to be objectified. But regardless, I was kind of being a dick in my response, so I deleted it.
