I'm sorry, have you not seen "kill all men" posts or "this ultrasound will determine if it is a girl or an abortion" or "all men are rapists" ...they're pretty openly admitting to it

Now imagine that as white/black instead of female/male. 'You're minding your own business, but your body language is making my colleagues uncomfortable"

MGTOW exists Men have been choosing "Nothing" over "Women" for years, but actually doing it. Not some joke or meme or hypothetical. I would rather most women were stuck in the forest with a bear than that I were stuck with them also. Win/Win

Ya, and men are traditionally responsible for automobile maintenance, home maintenance, financial provision, home safety, lawn care, snow removal, etc. These women want to take their failed relationships and their inability to communicate with their partner and act like its a global problem. No, it's a 'you' problem. Recognize your own sexist expectations and reevaluate if it is actually one-sided. If it is communicate and ask for help.

Their own insecurities are overwhelming and the only relief they get is demeaning someone else to make themselves feel better-than. It's not your fault or problem. They're just going through something right now and haven't developed healthy coping mechanisms.

The only movie I can think of where a lot of women get slaughtered is the Valkyrie on Thor:Ragnorak and that's very tame and not that many women

Yes, except Serenity because River Tam is awesome and OP characters with serious drawbacks are still very interesting unlike the wave after wave of Mary-Sues we've been subjected to lately

Semantics aren't as important as us supporting each other. Discuss your differences, but don't forget that our primary purpose is to be there for each other, ya know?

If by feminist, you mean you want true gender Equality, then any altruist would want Equality. If you mean the misandrist, bigoted, club of man-hating, female supremacists who erroneously call themselves 'feminist', then IDK

Don't forget about right of first refusal. If your wife is leaving her with a sitter or daycare, she is supposed to first offer you the option of parenting time. Best of luck

Why all the hate for people that don't mind being circumcised?
/r/MensRights13/10/22 05:06 PM

I understand that and, to me, not remembering the pain of circumcision is a fair trade for the loss of choice. I experience a very enjoyable amount of sensation and I find excessive sensation (like continuing to pleasure the tip after ejaculation) to be uncomfortable. So I accept the decision, how it was made, my current state, and the fact that I can't have a true comparison. I also think that it is perfectly reasonable for other people to feel upset, cheated, or that their bodily autonomy was …

Ya. I get sensation on my whole penis, tip is more sensitive of course. I don't feel robbed or cheated at all. Not saying you don't have a right to feel that way or that every one should be circumcised. I'm just saying that I, personally, don't have a problem with it

This doesn't seem like a decision anyone else can help you with. Is money and principle more important to you, or is the tenuous peace? If you're loaded, then maybe it's not worth it. If the loss of this money is going to effect the care you can provide for your children, it's probably worth the struggle. Just keep the court's gender bias and the cost of lawyers in mind. Only communicate by text or email so you can document what is said. Present any arguments in their 'effect on the care of the …

I'm objecting to the part of 'feminism' that I've always objected to. Wanting to cherry-pick benefits but disregard men's rights and Equality. Here they want the benefit of silencing all discourse by telling men that they are not allowed to participate in a discussion that indirectly effects men because it directly effects women. Well, if I'm out of the issue, then I'm out of the issue. I won't support or oppose. You can't have it both ways. If women want to re-approach the issue in a way that's…

I'm not asserting it as fact. I'm making my best guess at a rationale that could justify the self-sabotaging tactic of alienating potential allies by choosing 'stfu' instead of 'let's be allies, these issues effect men too' for a rhetoric theme. That guess could well be wrong and I'm open to hearing other explanations of why someone would choose to alienate potential allies.

'How many in my personal life' is both anecdotal and biased. Why would I keep toxic misandrists in my life? Aside from that you make a fair point.
/r/MensRights05/10/22 12:54 PM

That's fair and I will definitely reconsider if I see any women denouncing the vocal extremists, valuing male allies, and asking for support , but I won't hold my breath.

(United States: Michigan) Michigan Proposal 3, the Right to Reproductive Freedom Initiative A "yes" vote would support providing a state constitutional right to reproductive freedom, which is defined as "the right to make and effectuate decisions about all matters relating to pregnancy, including but not limited to prenatal care, childbirth, postpartum care, contraception, sterilization, abortion care, miscarriage management, and infertility care." A "no" vote would oppose providing a state cons…

Right? Why can't we be appreciated and encouraged as allies? Because we have to be the evil oppressors to maintain the narrative? Is the propaganda more important than the tangible benefits of cooperation?
/r/MensRights05/10/22 12:06 PM

A fine point, but why not make the 'all in this together' argument all along instead of being divisive, condescending, and controlling in your rhetoric and then expect support once the vote comes?

Saying that your previous statements don't support what you are currently saying isn't ad hominem. If you said "you should exercise" and I said "you're fat so I'm not listening to you about health". That's ad hominem. Because your statement is true on its own merits and whether or not you take your own advice doesn't make it less true. Attacking the speaker is a distraction. But if you say "I support X" and you have previously said "I oppose X" then the topic is your credibility and your stateme…

Its all a variation on supply and demand. Men do that because that's what works. If women picked men based on something other than 'what can he do for me' or 'how can he make me feel better about myself' then these wouldn't work and men wouldn't use them.

Its been said before in this thread, but I can vouch from anecdotal experience that if you are not attracted to a woman, she does not want to be 'friends'. A couple of to times I have tried to give thicker girls a chance, even though I'm much more attracted to petite ladies. But I tried to make the exceptions because the full figured ones were very nice, we had several things in common, and had fun together. The relationships ultimately fizzled quickly because I just was not physically attracted…

If you put the shoe on the other foot, do you "need" a woman? Bottom line, they are a luxury, sometimes some of them are worth the expense, usually not really.
