Life is expensive now. If you want to be upper middle class asn stay upper middle class it takes a lot of dedication for school and then learning your skillset after school, then you're worried about loans, and EVERYTHING is expensive now. A kid probably costs 400k before college now. So by the time anyone gets to that point they want to enjoy the fruits of what that hard work has brought and kids eat into that. Plus you're so drained from work.

I understand that for sure. Usually that's the case w love addicts, but not always. Lol

Maybe, but I think you might be forgetting about a certain type. The shape-shifting, void of personality, love addict. (Happens with men too). Which would you prefer? A relationship jumper or a woman who enjoys sex when she's not in a relationship, but is pickier about who she settles down with?

How did you go from 2 to banging the whole town? Lol

Dude, it's exhausting for anyone to have the bandwith. Soul sucking jobs (the massive increase in work productivity) with stagnant wages, and debt in itself is almost all consuming. Really courting someone takes serious effort and we are all in survival mode to an extent rn. I think it started earlier and is just getting worse. I think you could solve almost every problem with reduced work loads and higher pay lol

Dude, chemistry in person is a MILLION times better than OLD, but I think it's hard to meet new people organically. Unless it's like a cute barista, waitress, etc.. and I don't wanna avoid starbucks if it ends badly, bc I rely on it 😂😭

I'm not ignoring them. I def have had a few partners that haven't gone on bc for that reason, but most have used the shots. I understand why not everyone would want to. I don't think anyone WANTS an abortion. It's just there for worst case scenario if BC fails. I understand your point on access 100 percent though, and I think that sucks. Also, I am aware of the risk potential for women for online dating and the stats of lack of orgasm for straight women. I honestly think it boils down to women g…

I think it's risk tolerance lol BC is really effective, but there's always abortion if you gotta. The AIDs boogeyman almost doesn't exist for women and especially if they bang only white dudes. (Just going by stats) so that basically leaves HPV and Herpes. I think anyone over a certain age that's been sexually active probably has it. Like 80 percent according to Cleveland Clinic. Syphilis is only scary if you don't catch it early and the Clap and gonorrhea are basically asinine. They give you 2 …

Here's the thing.. I think everyone can pretty much spot a special person, but if they don't think you're special then they want sex.. and when everyone is in transitional phase, all they want is sex. If you're estabslished and want to settle down, you'll start looking for someone who really motivates, inspires, and drives intensity in you. When you're not looking for that you're basically looking for sex lol

I think I'd lean heavier into writing, maybe pick up video games, and buying that $400 fleshlight that syncs to pornhub. Actually, i should consider doing all of those things anyway.

I wonder if men would be considered failures by people for beinh hypergamous. Like what if your drive was to have kids and a family and say you're an 8 who hates working.. so you marry a 5.5-6 with a high earning potential. Like if you flip the script completely and your job was just staying hot and taking care of the kids lol

Dude, so many people just aren't used to being taken care of in this way (and she's probably also pretty cool). Those things go a long way. If you're a dude who is stressed by feeling like they always have the skin in the game and you meet a girl who does stuff like this (and she's in college).. it's easy to see why you'd wanna become a unit. Sounds like they make a good team. And lets say your sis is a 7 and the dude could get a physical 9. Does he want to? Does he want all that drama? Or does …

Yeah, I'd teach my kids casual sex is fine as long as they use protection and birth control. Pretty much everyone who can does. (At least for awhile) Always have and always will. I don't see premarital sex as taboo at all. I was girl crazy in high school and my niece is boy crazy. Pretty natural in puberty, but she's on the pill and I always bought plan B.

Yep! Sorry i suck at reddit btw. This talk gave me insights to conservatives a bit. It's definitely not me and I think there's def a mob mentality on both sides.. but the openness to ideas vs the high gross out factor explains a lot about the sex discussions here. No pill. I'm a man who eventually wants a spouse w the same goals as me career wise and a kid or two. That's pretty much it. Just get tested at least quarterly if you're sexually active to catch it early enough. My gay friend just got tested for the first time at 27 and was positive for syphilis and we have no idea how long he's had it.

Hey man, I also like bear tooth.. when that frontier gets stale, you move to the back frontier. It's all good man. I wanted my first time to be romantic and it just never happened, so eventually I sought it out and had awkward sex on a couch, then awkward sex on a bed a couple days later, then fanatic sex for 2 years. There's pros and cons to it for sure. I think men are in a transitional phase and it always sucks in a way to be stuck in that when it comes to work and maybe your personal value.. but I think it's also nice being able to have fun and not have your feet held to the fire about when you're gonna level up and have 3 kids. I think the working/middle class getting straight up fucked is conflating a lot of the issues. I think harder upward mobility is hitting dudes who grew up okay and traditional the…

Dude, the highest STD rates are from seniors and the idea of fucking a 75 year old makes me wanna vomit, but the older you get the older the people you become attracted to are. When I was 14 and yanking it in the shower before school i thought about my classmates, but now that idea would make me sick lol Not everyone ages well, but i think a lot do. Mine was grief. When my grandfather died I was already a heavier partier and then i was drinking for fun AND sadness and my brain was like who knows what we're doing now?! Lol It sucked, but i wouldn't trade it. Put me behind a little, but the self work that came with getting sober helped me get over my shitty childhood and treat people better, and without my alcoholism I probably wouldn't have fixed those things.

I looked at your profile and your dating situation and I see what you mean. I think a lot of people suffer with anxiety and depression to an extent, but it really depends on the extremes to me. For me, I've been off the booze for 2.5 years and use alprazolam and gabapentin for the anxiety, but those have done really well for me. I'm really open about those things, but I'm also happy, maintain a decent job, and do a lot of social functions. Obviously, mental illnesses vary in degree by a wide mar…

So, I'm a middle class guy since I have work experience, but am back in school to get the upper middle class salary bump.. I usually keep my dates around $15-$20 a plate and will do a movie or something after once or twice a week. If you want to date/marry someone that's more attractive than you then yes. Money/looks/personality together are the holistic package of anybody. So if you wanna punch above your weightclass then having more money doesn't hurt. If you're a 7, happy banging/dating 7's, you can date people your own age in your own income bracket, and be fine. If you're trying to get that younger 9, then that usually takes a combo of all 3. But think of it from that 9's perspective. She has a lot of earning potenti…

Well dating and fucking are different. I used to have a fwb that was a 6.5 and she would get messages from a bunch of 9/10s and I would read them and they were so low effort or gross that they never got it in. Well one did, and it wasn't a pleasant experience, so then she got better at filtering it. I think this is kind of the natural order of that situation. I think people tend to date within their range 90 percent of the time. It's just easier for everyone. Everyone has to settle into their OL…

I had a casual thing w a 20 year old last year at 26 and it was the same thing. It makes a ton of sense for them and us. Guys their age arent polished and are broke working on school or partying their asses off, we have disposable income, are present on dates, and can show them new food, movies, music, etc since our taste and experience are more developed. It probably would be different if we were 35 and they were 18. Lol
/r/PurplePillDebate04/01/20 12:51 AM
1

I think there's a big difference between a high school senior and a college freshman or sophomore based on their life experiences. But once they're completely on their own at 19-20 I don't really see a huge issue with it, but I don't think it's built to last. I think that's more of like a casual thing and those are fun and fine. A lot of young women kind of get burned out by guys their own age bc they're not polished yet, so they move their age range up. At least for a bit.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/01/20 12:38 AM

I'm sorry that happened to you man, I really am. A lot because of the awkwardness that can happen with the disclosure. I've gotten it from disclosing oral herpes and I can only imagine the it with disclosing genital herpes bc of the stigma. But yeah, I'd love the link bc what I've read on HSV 1 was that the longer you've had it, the less it sheds and I've gotten cold sores since I was 10 and I only get them when my immune system is truly fucked and that's like once every 2-3 years.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/01/20 06:11 PM
1

I've read conflicting information about genital HSV1 and the immunity built up to it by having it orally at the beginning. I def disclose it to all my partners though, just incase. 50 percent? That blows my mind.

/r/PurplePillDebate03/01/20 04:02 PM

Well, that's super fair. Obviously financial security is probably the most important step personally and in a relationship and I have seen some terrible debt equations. I definitely meant out of that poverty line bc that's a fucking terrible place to be.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/01/20 08:25 AM
1

Yeah man. Obviously the values don't line up anyway if its ALL economic. I have several anecdotes for this in my personal life, but obviously those stats are different. But there's definitely women who don't mind taking home more money than their partner if their partner meets their needs in other ways. Like if you're a good dad, are affectionate, acts of service, etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/01/20 08:05 AM

Depends on the STD for sure. The curable ones are just a shot or a pill. Most people have HPV if you were sexually active before the vaccine. Genital herpes is probably a no go for me. Prep is a godsend for HIV, but it's so rare for white straight people to get it i never think about it. Genital herpes is the only thing that freaks me out since there's such a stigma. I get cold sores and they're not a big deal at all and I assume genital herpes is similar, but it's such a no go for most people t…

I'd say that's the traditional way, but I'd also say with the lack of high paying jobs out there that you'd be surprised how much better women can do. When you stay in the same place you build clients if you're in beauty or service and if you're in the medical field you make the same or more as like a plumber or electrician etc. A lot of men do trades out there lol
/r/PurplePillDebate03/01/20 05:30 AM
1

Yeah, those places probably have a different culture and its probably more sharky tbh, so I could see where the pressure to perform would be overwhelming and toxic. I actually think that's the main issue with everything. Burn out and lack of disposable income. It just makes it harder to enjoy a partner or family.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/01/20 05:23 AM
4

That's what I figured. When I lived in a rural area and sold cars some of the women were established nurses who made 80-90k and their husbands were laborers who made 50-60k and it actually seemed to work well in those situations. The women were better with the money and the dudes were like "I'm just here to help". And these people were married for like 15-20 years lol obviously every relationship is different, but I've seen success in these dynamics.

I think the key here is that he's working, just progressing a bit slower. I think financial equity is important, but I don't think it's EVERYTHING. Everyone should have SOME ambition lol Here in DFW area it's 300-400k for a nice house, so it's def attainable with a dual income. Everyone wants to be upper middle class for sure. HAHAHAH I had an experience like this last year and the girl wasn't into foreplay and so annoying I couldn't get hard, but that was seriously like 1 out of a lot. I hate throwing my body count out there. It happens. Sometimes your dick doesn't get hard or they have a spot that gets them off and it's not the gspot or clit and you have to run it a certain way, and the air needs to be at exactly 65 degrees, and a full moon, etc but that's super rare. There's such a benefit to setting boundaries early so that you can sort of nip toxic things at the start, but if you're into boundaries you gotta be okay with them going both ways. I feel like a lot of people forget that 😂

Dude, this scenario has happened to everyone. Getting ghosted sucks, but it's not super uncommon. Also, she's probably headfucked from her failing/failed marriage and honestly, you probably should have tried to close after coffee. Or she just likes another guy better. I don't agree with how she handled it, but I think focusing on your training and stuff and getting back out there is good.

Tinder just seemed to produce more laid back dates with less baggage. The only time I got mindfucked was Bumble. I had a woman freak out before our date bc she was afraid she'd get attached, some angry about women (my sister) in my snap stories, etc.

Fair point!

It could just be my area, but I found OKC to just not have very attractive women as a whole. But OKC def seems to have potential
/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/20 02:19 AM

But honestly, I think it's easier to get your foot in the door on Tinder since it's not predicated on women making the first move. So you can punch above your weightclas sometimes, which I like.

Right, but 10 to 12 a year with repeats isn't bad lol

Boring conversations, crazy women. Possessive wishy/washy, the gamete dude. That's why I like tinder more

This seems like an issue of drive compatibility in some couples and it's tough to overcome.

I just don't see the quality on Hinge and Okcupid that Tinder and Bumble have, but Tinder plus for 10 bucks a month and 5 superlikes a day is fantastic. You cut to the front of the line. Women I've met from Bumble have been mostly boring to insane. I'm glad your experiences have been better, but Tinder has worked for me by far the best. The weird thing about having Tinder and Bumble at the same time was getting passed over on Bumble but matched on Tinder and seeing the differences in their bios.…

Nah dude, Tinder is by far the best option. Way less pretentious then Bumble and Okcupid has a lot of fucking weirdos. If all you had was Tinder plus you'd be better off

Well one and dones are usually awkward and if you ever look at the orgasm gap they probably have a right to complain. But everyone needs to "nut" including women and its fucking preposterous to state otherwise lol
/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/20 12:41 AM
1

Yeah, it's true. If you wanna sleep with 20 women a year it's a lot of work just having to talk to so many people, and carryover, etc. Like just shoot for a few FWBs a year. Way easier. A bit safer probably. Win win.

Honestly this feels like such a defeatist mindset. Like there's so much anxiety of getting a girl and then her just leaving you on these threads. I want to know why. I feel like this defeatist attitude and lack of confidence is what's killing men on the dating scene. We don't wanna go full japan lmao

Honestky, so is life dude. You can scream at the sky for not being born a 10 with a fast metabolism and a giant penis or you can focus on what you can control and develop your personality. I was like I am not attracting people I'm attracted to, so I did a weight loss competition, got a teeth whitening kit for $20, and a tanning membership and within like 8-10 weeks I reversed my situation. I just hit it really hard. Am I Chad now? Fuck no. But do I appreciate the 7.5s- to the occasional 9 I get?…

I uninstalled it to focus on some short term goals and have a constant fwb rn, but Probably a 6.5-7.5 and I used tinder premium, set my preference for under 15 miles, and use the 5 superlikes a day and then mostly stay off of it. I just wrote a clever bio and put selfies up of me in a suit, me with my nieces and nephews, and me and my dog when she was a puppy. All the cliches. I used to be an internet sales and BDC Manager for a couple dealerships so having conversations through text is pretty e…

I think this Chad thing is a copout. Also, if they offer to please the man sexually after the first date aren't they just despicable whores to you anyway?

Do you feel like it's easier to "age out" (idk how old you are) in rural america though since women seem to have children younger? Or are you okay with dating single mothers? (There's zero judgement in that last sentence, I just see a lot about men not wanting to)
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/20 08:31 PM

I think the adaptability factor you mentioned is HUGE and I talked to my FWB about this last night.

Interesting! I honestly don't know with your situation then. We have millions of people in our major cities and a lot of suburbs, and then rural living in Texas and most states are kind of set up this way, but you have a totally different situation.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/20 07:57 PM

I think that's definitely right, and I think people are latching on to extreme examples they find on the internet and like to make that represent the whole of the opposite sex. I think red pill and blue pill are both oversimplified when what you really want is just equity in all of your relationships and men and women are just people and some are good and some are bad. I think there's a lot of resentment on the redpill side about the traditional nuclear family dying, and I know this is a differe…

Nah, I usually do like pho, a burger joint, thai, or Mediterranean. Something interesting, but inexpensive and without booze. I usually try to think of a spot that's great and a dish they haven't had and that's usually at a secretly killer hole in the wall. 10 percent honesty might be high. I think in the last 2 years that's happened once and I did that once or twice when I lived in the country (and drove like 40 minutes) bc I was getting desperate lol Now all the dates I go on that are upwards …

Yeah, I think I meant to talk more about rural/city dating, but kind of lost my way and should have excluded the last part completely. I'm still kind of bad w reddit tbh lol
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/20 07:43 PM
8

For sure and I think that's why you make a first date more of a casual spot. There's totally women who will want a $20 plate and 3 manhattans on a first date, but in my experience that's like 10 percent, maybe? So these numbers overall are pretty good. Lol

I think maybe I should have worded the MGTOW piece a bit better and that I meant those areas unrelated to dating to get your disposable income up.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/20 07:37 PM

It's effective. That's part of what I don't understand about the redpill community, is it's so hard nose. Like you're not gonna get everything you want and you won't always knock it out for the park, but if you're willing to adapt just a little you'll actually enjoy dating and women lol
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/20 07:34 PM
6

Thank you!!! This was really the part of the discussion that's interesting to me. Like I live in a more working/middle class area of DFW vs like Uptown where it's really snobbish and I actively avoid those women bc it's just rife w insecurity and high maintenance drama.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/20 07:32 PM

Oh, I just don't have that kinda time. I usually just wanna go on like one or 2 dates a week lol plus coffee dates are boring. I don't even do lunch dates typically.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/20 07:30 PM

Yeah, I think that's great too. I think maybe a big difference in styles between people like me and others is that I'm okay with dating casually where if it doesn't take the traditional relationship course but is like a friends with benefits thing where we enjoy each other that's fine with me too. I agree with them planning a date, offering dessert, covering the movie etc. That feels so nice when it happens. A lot of girls do, do that here which is great. Which I think is part of why I like the …

I totally understand your point and I agree. I like the gesture though, so that why I choose that price point. So that it's not an amount of money I miss. I think there's always going to be competition when it comes to dating attractive women, and it doesn't mean you need to go broke doing it, but I think it doesn't hurt to stand out a little.

If you're not spending $10-$15 on a first date, you're buying coffee and coffee is impersonal. If you're buying nothing and say "two checks please" that's fine too, but I think shelling out the $10-$15 bucks is just easier for the momentum of the date and I think it's a nice gesture regardless. I think you should always come prepared to spend a little money if it's you that asks them for their time. If they offer to pay for dessert or the movie, etc then I'm really happy with that. I don't need …

I think red pill guys like women with lower body counts because they're afraid someone with experience will think they're bad in bed and leave them. Lol A woman is a "WHORE" for embracing being someone who is horny and needs a release whereas they are just normal, red blooded americans jerking off into socks.

Thanks for the article! I didn't know. I saw the article I posted and like an adam and eve poll that said 54 percent of women they surveyed said women preferred it. My point was basically like if its heavily preferred cosmetically and if mothers do it to babies bc it's way less painful and easier to heal, is that a compelling argument for it? I think my comment I made seemed more flippant than I meant it to. Thanks for the info guys. Cheers and happy new year's.
/r/MensRights01/01/20 06:04 PM

I think that's a great question and for that I think parents do it to babies because you heal so much faster as a child. Just like your tonsils getting removed. I did it as an adult and the doctor said it would be twice as painful and it was fucking horrible. I should have phrased my point differently, I'm not making fun of circumcised peoeple at all. I just think it's a point worth considering

You don't think it's situational?
/r/MensRights01/01/20 12:29 AM

Honestly, I think it's because the internet is so much more extreme than real life and there's extremists on both sides who like to paint the opposite sex with a wide brush and it's so counterproductive

Hahaha In all fairness, "no hookups" means that banging someone you don't know can be uncomfortable and dangerous. If you buy some dinner and treat her like a person for a date or 2 you can still probably get in there and it's a better situation for everyone. I LOVE this page, I'm just saying in these instances that's what they mean. I'm prepared for the downvotes.

Yeah, dude. Like there's no denying that there's a lot disproportionately affecting men and that's stuff I'm genuinely interested in.. bashing ALL women is just a toxic circle jerk no better than extreme feminists.

You know, for every good post on this page there are 8 bullshit or misleading ones.
/r/MensRights20/12/19 02:28 PM

Idk man. I mean the classic definition of "women are equal to men" holds a lot of chill women who still love men, but extreme feminists are miserable man hating curmudgeons.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
