OP please come back with an update in another few months. We wanna know how you're doing, brother. Hang in there.

Start changing your life. Whatever your life was while you were with her, you still have everything the same, except with her in it. That's why you feel like she's the missing piece to a puzzle of an ugly picture. You do drugs to escape something. Your life is bland because you've not put any meaning into it. Start with a haircut and exercise.

I get the feeling this is a test I'd want to fail. You didn't do anything wrong, as far as I can see. But I've met women who like fighting and arguing. Who enjoy fighting about every bullshit thing that comes up. Who think the only definition of male strength is boasting and belligerence. And if you do too, then this is the right girl for you. But if this isn't your type of girl, then this test can't be passed. Me? I'd have gotten out as soon as possible.

Comfort test. You're being comfort tested, not shit tested. Don't be adversarial if it's a comfort test - if you want to keep them. If you're a man of few words let them know you're there because you enjoy their company.

So why the hell did you even bother posting? Jesus, you already know what's about to happen.

Had that situation once. But she was a terrible boss and I documented her moves and emails. She tried stripping me of my portfolios when I ignored her and did the job properly, so I went to the boss. After I gave multiple code violations she'd done and A LOT OF EVIDENCE, he began to 'review' her. She quit on the spot. Keep a record of her bullshit if she gets like this. You never know when you'll need it.

It came in stages. I'm not a patient person. While I was still pretty beta I was always more likely to shake my head and walk away. But the final straw was watching my best friend get hit and trampled and yelled at for years before finally getting divorce raped. For me, I'm not interested in TRP for the women angle, but for the male behaviour angle. To hear other men learning what it is to be men. I don't care about how to attract or keep a woman, but I want to keep becoming a better man. That's…

I'm in LTR with kids. Am very happy with how things are right now. But I still think back to this one ex. I've not had a body quite like that since, but by now she's probably gone to shit. I'll always think back fondly on how she looked, even if she was insane. You'll never get something like that back again, Chad. Just because you've had some bad dates doesn't mean you're ruined. Make sure you unfollow and defriend her. You're not over her, because you're still jealous. Stop comparing other wom…

If you bang her this will not stay secret. Only if you're willing to lose this entire particular social group, will this not be a disaster. As soon as you're out the door after leaving her place, she'll be working out how she's going to tell someone, because her SMV just went up. And it's worthless unless SOMEONE knows. And if your LTR is that boring that you're considering cheating, why are you with her in the first place?

Show passion about a third object. E.g. creative outlet or hobby. Or political events. Chicks love guys with stuff going on, because it means there's a higher likelihood of passing shit tests. You don't sound like the type who's up to plate juggling yet. Always let them know you've got things going on, and your other responsibilities must come first. If you don't have hobbies or things like that, have a little think about some things you may have been avoiding for a while.

Nah, that one was fine. It sounds like you said "If you're sitting on my couch and not driving yourself home, stop obsessing." If that's close enough to what you said, no harm. Also, no matter how good your response, you're never guaranteed the result you want. Not getting what you want doesn't mean you did anything wrong.

Don't focus on them, focus on a topic instead. Don't make THEM the big deal. Makes you a more independent person instead.

There's no easy one-stop trick. One certain method is to get older. Other than that, focus on your body/diet/health, and your education/career. Girls come after those. If you're tight with your family make sure she knows they come before her as well. If you're not tight with them, say that you do your bit as society rightly demands.

If you're not having sex it's not a relationship. You don't want to be lonely and you prefer even something bad to nothing at all. Okay, I get that. I understand, though I'm not sympathetic at all and I think you're a coward. Let's try this. Get on Tinder to work up your self-confidence. Then you can dump her when you feel better about yourself. Even better: Dump her now AND go on Tinder now.

It's not really about HER, so much as the enigma she created in your mind. An unassailable wall, an impenetrable fortress. You'd be surprised how much of this you're building up yourself and painting the rosy picture in your mind because... it's one hell of a lot of fun to wonder what if. But it's gone, brother. Gone. Even if it had happened it wouldn't have been that great. If you'd had the time you wanted together it wouldn't have worked out the way you think it could have. The brief time you …

Chicken breasts, legs or thighs. Put butter, olive oil and balsamic in the oven for 40 mins and walk away. Lamb legs, rib eye steak, lamb & pork chops. Fry 4 mins on each side in a frying pan. Quick protein. Try not to eat carbs after midday. No potatoes or rice or bread. Raw greens very important.

Because I left a bunch of context out in order to give a quick summary. Shit about RP behavior you've seen a hundred times on here that I don't need to go into detail with.

Well, fuck. No answers for this. The least you can do is call him out for white knighting. Ask him why you don't tolerate this behavior from children, so why a woman? And some people just have no common sense. You just gotta let him crash and burn if he's determined to do so. He's also got horrific self-esteem if he WANTS to be jumping on the VERY EASY single mother train.

Plate was going on a group business trip. One of them was the (married) man she'd had an affair with some months earlier. Her, with an arched eyebrow: "So. Are you worried I'll be on a bus with Chad for a week?" Me: "It's not cheating if you take photos."

Lead by example. Hard to do if the examples don't happen right where you are and the brother doesn't live with you. But when it comes up you ask him the basic questions. Here's a good one: "When was the last time you made a decision?" or "If you do nothing now, how's it going to be in another year?" Just remember he's still deep in BP. Bit by bit, and remember that he'll never be RP. But drumming some common sense into him right about now may be a good start.

Always wait before reacting at work. If someone's toxic then that'll play out and you don't need to get involved with bringing that to light. Most important is getting your work done, THEN play those power games. But not with your boss, who happens to be the big boss son!

Nothing to say. You know what you've got yourself into because you jumped in too quick. You're in a bad spot because you don't have the cash right now and can't be the alpha. Sort out your job and education. Those are your priorities. Worry about her when those two are sorted out. She is priority #3, treat her like that. But what are you doing going to an alternative HS when you're college-ready?

You're not performing in some way at the job. Skill up or truck out. Boss getting frustrated with you and wanting to send you the message before trying something heavier. If it's his fault, look for a new job because good bosses have got your back. If it's your fault, learn from it.

Keep it neutral. Keep moral judgement out of it and speak in strict action and reaction, choice and consequence terms. If you do A, then B happens. If not now, then later. Which is why you have to be careful about overstating your case to prove yourself right in front of her. "If you sneak out while you're at the sleepover, and Mom and Dad find out, goodbye cellphone." Simple explanation of consequence with practical examples taken from real life when you can. But remember she's going to make he…

Personal experience stories. "I was at the club and this one girl..." "There was a girl in my class like your friend Stacie. She thought it would be a good idea to..." Don't make it look like you're judging or she'll hide everything from you.

You can't go from being Cecil to Chad overnight. If you think you have then you're wrong, fucking wrong. Or you're playing pretend which is even worse and embarrassing to watch. Take your time. You're changing your life, not your underwear. Allow your world to change.

You've just started. It's always at the start of that steep hill that things look hardest. You've done everything right. You're doing everything right. Don't mess up your good choices and actions by regressing. If anything, hit the gym harder. Work harder. Throw yourself into monk mode brother. You've got a tough journey ahead, but it'll be worse if you wimp out at such an early stage. Good luck.

Once you finish Uni things change a lot regardless. People move to other cities and friends aren't as available. Work hours get longer and you get more tired. The good nights of hitting the town with your boys wind down after a while and then they start popping out kids. What you have now? It doesn't last. Don't change your place in life and then blame a new career for the change in social patterns. It happens regardless.

Some girls know how to use sex as a weapon. Very often girls who are so fucked in the head that any man would bolt if there wasn't an insanely tempting reason to stay. Think back about your ex. Ask if she seems to be that type.

Nod. "Hey." Keep walking. If she pursues you be polite. Totally ignoring her in person is not you being a man, it's you showing you have so few skills in your interpersonal bag that you would rather pretend she doesn't exist than face who and what you and she were together.

A girl I was plating kept telling me how often she cheated on her exes, then more or less said 'I don't know why I do it.' Jesus, neither do I Stacie. But the reason is 'two weeks ago is the past, and today is now. Things have changed in the past two weeks.' Literally, two weeks. I was cucking Chad and I didn't even know he existed.

Ask them about themselves. Perfect way of telling what you're dealing with. Let them know you're sizing them up. Ask if they go to the gym, what sports they do, what they eat, how often they drink, what music they work out to. It sounds all gym-based, but that's the perfect way of learning their hygiene, body image and self-sufficiency. Once you have the basic picture spread out from there. If they don't/never really did exercise and just want panda express every day, you have your answer. GTFO.

I think OP means he put TRP behavior into play. Not showed her the site. Unless the evidence of her past is available you'll never know the partner count. So stop reading tea leaves and playing Bizarro-Nostradamus. The answers to what sort of girl you've got will start unfurling pretty soon if you hold frame and progress. In one way or another you'll figure it out. If you go panty-sniffing and trying to work out her past she'll double-down and hide it from you. Let it come out, however it comes …

It's not you. It's the place she's at in life. This is all about her and you're just the placekeeper for something else in her life she doesn't have. You're not what she wants, because she wants to get away from something, not get close to you. Maintain distance.

There are some TRP lurkers there who use TRP concepts without the terminology. And they often get upvoted because they say it in language the rabid leftists like. Plus there's some good stuff about non-romantic relationships I see in there as well. I remember some very good threads about family violence and long-lost high school friends. It's worth reading over there if only to test yourself to re-interpret in TRP context.

You're not going to move on if you keep this up. Whether there's another girl on the scene or not, you separated for a reason. And if that means you won't get sex for a time, so be it. Sounds like it's time for some monk mode and gym.

Lots of landmines here. Okay, stop everything. Stop thinking, and look around. I get the feeling you may be saying and doing RP things, but you aren't doing what you want to. So. When you talk to her, make everything you say the truth. Don't hide behind frame if you don't have the convictions to support it, or it all falls apart and you look like a weirdo. Tell her what you want out of her. Tell her what you're capable of. I can see you trying to hold frame, but you're bouncing all over the plac…

Sometimes, depending where you are, they're actually called 'applied economics' degrees. But we're moving out my specialty area so I'll let you do the ground work there. Okay, if you've got brains, learn to code. No argument. Look at a Comp Sci degree if you've got the chops. Even if you only minor, being able to code will get interviews. In fact, on your job applications in 4 years you make sure being able to code is the first thing they see. As for economics. Look for a degree/major descriptio…

Nothing we tell you will make you feel better, Chad. So get this fucking nonsense out of your head. Go for it. Take the plunge. Romance the everloving fuck out of her. Law is being overcome by bots. Literal document scanners and report-writers. Unless you've got family who can get you into a practice you're going to spend a lot of time at the bottom. That's assuming you can get a job in law. Psychology is full of crazies. People tend to know they've got problems, even if they can't admit it. Had a friend marry an insane woman. The first time he showed me her photo I got that chill in my gut you've got now. And that was just a photo. She hit him in front of their kids. I know it's a reflection on you and it burns that righteous anger, but this is one of the best lessons a man can learn. You are under the control of an incompetent. This is not your fault, but it is your problem. Don't talk shit about him, don't do anything more to piss him off. He cannot ruin your career, but he can be a pain in your ass. The most important lesson here, is don't look like you have free time. My experience with incompetent bosses with ego problems is that they just want to be ob…
