The same as when women rationalise sexually harassing men in those weird videos where women go around touching random men because OTHER men have done it before.

I’m not even fucking surprised. Always erasing male victims of anything because they don’t fit the archetype.

I think consent is so often “implied” for men because we’re seen as wanting it all the time. I’ve had so many inappropriate interactions from women who likely don’t realise they’re being inappropriate for that reason.

Female on male rape is almost always recorded as “forced-to-penetrate” thus being excluded from rape statistics. I highly recommend researching the numbers and comparing them, they’re shocking.

I’d say in high school I was conditioned to have a fairly radicalised feminist perspective on life to the point where I thought discussing men’s issues were a joke. This was the result of being around friends who were preaching these ideas, even teachers, and being young and impressionable. Now I couldn’t be further away from that mindset once I started to experience them myself and saw the world for what it truly was which was extremely one-sided. I had a particular experience where I was domes…

I agree that some men have the tendency to do this as I’ve seen it multiple times online. However, I see plenty more “feminists” doing the same when men are trying to bring their own issues forth separately, often stating that we can’t even have any due to being male. I think many men, including myself, have a knee jerk reaction these days because we’re used to being grouped into the same box as rapists, pedophiles and murderers. You have women saying “it’s all men” then telling us “all men” doe…

How my school actually dealt with “creeps”: Male teacher allegedly sending inappropriate messages to a female student which she later admitted were forged by her using a fake account: instant dismissal. Female teacher who developed a relationship with an underage male student, became pregnant with his child and later married him and used his surname professionally: went on maternity leave and returned with a promotion in a leadership role. That said a lot to me.

I’m so sick of women trying to discount the rate and severity of the male suicide issue with “…but women attempt more.” Yes, an attempt allows another attempt, and another and another. A suicide is one time only. Obviously.

I used to be a feminist and I used to participate in ideals I don’t agree with anymore. I’m glad I grew up, did my own research and formed my own opinions. Basically I became tired of the constant man-hating, the misdirected anger of feminists, the incorrect facts/statistics blurted out of their mouths to fit their agendas, the refusal to acknowledge men have problems and the refusal to look at the proof to support it, and the never ending double standards.

I believe so too, and I’ve had a good therapist before. It’s just such a time consuming, disheartening and expensive process. One day. Fortunately I have a good support system of friends for now.

I went to a therapist to deal with trauma from being sexually assaulted and raped by a woman. My therapist told me it wasn’t possible. The one before tried to change the subject when I’d bring it up and instead wanted to focus on my father who doesn’t even effect my life. So… yeah, it always boils down to the man being the issue.

When the law and society ignore and sweep all the statistics that show predatory behaviour of women and victimisation of men under the rug, that’s why I’d be afraid to have a son. Because I fear for him and for the lack of support for him in the world, not at all for what he’ll do.

Something’s very wrong in the feminist movement if you’re criticised for having a conversation about bad behaviour of women. I see it all the time; you mention it and you’re a) a misogynist or b) not redirecting the blame onto men somehow the way you should be.

I had a female cousin molest me while I was very young although it wasn’t realised till a couple of years ago. My mother’s coworker’s older daughter forced me to show her my penis while I was a minor (she even touched it). My friend coerced me into fingering her after saying “no” and while blacking out drunk. Imagine if feminists actually acknowledged all the hidden rape statistics of male victims/female assaulters based on how it’s categorised (made to penetrate)… similar statistics, mainly female perpetrators. It’s there, the law fails to even acknowledge the possibility of females raping men most of the time. I didn’t even realise how common it was and felt like an outlier until I did the research myself.
/r/AntiFeminists23/01/23 06:56 AM

It’s so annoying… you can’t ever talk about women not doing their part in the bedroom without it being the man’s fault. But if the man isn’t doing his part it’s absolutely the man’s fault. Not much accountability happening there as usual.

It would be the patriarchy’s fault either way, wouldn’t it.

I dunno. Didn’t feel too privileged with the way I was treated after being domestically abused by a woman I was in a relationship with, raped by a woman, and preyed on by older women as a minor at the time. There’s not only a certain dismissing you receive as a male victim, but you get told it isn’t possible. It felt even worse with the lack of resources there are to help you. All you can find for male victims are things that paint them as the abuser and statistics that refuse to be acknowledged…

Remember: “gender neutral” rape laws are not gender neutral if they claim it’s only an act of penetration. When men are raped by women the majority are forced to penetrate.

/r/MensRights11/12/22 02:16 AM

And the way all of these lines fall flat in the show is the way they do most of the time when feminists use them in real life. Where protecting a woman is a product of the patriarchy or talking about anything is mansplaining. And men couldn’t possibly know what it’s like to not be believed (male victims of anything???) …I’m really getting exhausted by this narrative. I’d love a show to flip the roles, just once.

Yep. Even in most countries with “gender inclusive” legal definitions of rape, rape is still defined solely as a penetrative act which for the most part makes rape an act committed by a man. Forced to penetrate is its own seperate category that gets swept under the rug and disregarded as rape all the time.

I think rapists often care about control and dominance. For example, my ex-girlfriend was abusive and would rape me through manipulation and physical/emotional abuse. Although I was stronger, I didn’t feel like I had a choice so I “let” it happen. The details don’t matter so much, but she definitely did it to control me (and she did). Studies on female-on-male rape are very scarce, but many male victims report the same psychological trauma as male-on-female victims. Glad you’re wanting to educat…

Through drugs, alcohol, statutory, coercion/manipulation, deception, using physical (and other forms of) abuse. Women usually rape men through forced penetration although women can also penetrate using objects.

My views on feminism/being a feminist shifted about 4-5 years ago. I was programmed to believe in all aspects of male privilege and that any issue a man would face surely wasn’t because he was a male. I did my own in depth research and lived my own life altering experiences that made me realise not only is that so incredibly far from the truth, but our issues are often silenced and believed to be nonexistent. I guess I just stopped being naive and listening to the media’s obvious feminist agenda…

/r/MensRights03/10/22 12:17 AM

Yes and no. I think individuals among my age range are more accepting of the idea. However, I think society as a whole has a long way to go. People are more determined to believe it can happen, as if it’s nothing more than a slight possibility, than realise the true severity of which it is happening. Society’s fairly comfortable with telling you only men are the bad guys. When you present the “hidden” statistics that prove this isn’t the case all people want to do is dismiss them and excuse them…

I hate that my rapist wouldn’t be seen as a rapist because she was female. I hate that I wouldn’t contribute to rape statistics as a male raped by a female along with the many other men that don’t. I hate that I had next to no resources to contact when I was being domestically abused because I’m a male. I hate that I’m automatically assumed to be the perpetrator of both scenarios. Yeah, I could write a long list too.

(A lot of) feminists seemingly want men to talk about rape of males and encourage them to be open about their experiences until they realise following a gender inclusive definition of rape (that includes being forced to penetrate) skews their statistics and all of a sudden 99% of rapists being men doesn’t even come close. All of a sudden a large portion of rapists are women as well.

So grossed out by this. How is this up for questioning? It’s rape. It’s 2022 and we’re still debating the existence of such a thing when committed onto boys and men.

Listen to this interview with Mary Koss, an extremely prominent and influential feminist voice, claiming why women raping men isn’t rape. ‘A Teacher’ is a series about a male student/female teacher relationship. She suffers consequences for her actions in the end and the student is shown to be traumatised after 10 years. A recurring plot point in ‘The Perks of Being a Wallflower’ is the male lead realising he was molested by his Aunt when he was younger. All I can think of for now. Most TV shows/movies that include sexual assault/rape of males usually treat it as comedy.

Yes, it does a lot indeed. A lot of definitions of “rape” that are considered “inclusive” still define the act as solely penetrative, therefore the men who were raped by being forced to penetrate (which is the majority when looking at CDC statistics over a 12-month period with an overwhelming amount of female perpetrators) are not included in rape statistics. And so the rate of male victims are perceived as devastatingly low and female rapists are deemed rare even though they aren’t. People (a l…

I’ve seen the CDC stats. It’s truly disappointing that male rape victim statistics are so skewed because of the way rape is defined to exclude male victims of female rapists/female rapists in general. Do you have any links to sources on female guard rapists? It would be good to read up on.

Exactly. Rape is still defined as solely a penetrative act in the US when that isn’t the case for most male victims recorded annually (most are forced to penetrate). Also, there are a lot of countries that aren’t the US that very much refer to rape as a gendered crime or if not make it difficult for the rape of a male by a female to be perceived as such. The sentences are usually not the same nor do they carry the same weight in society. This hides a large portion of male rape victim statistics,…

This is a long ass answer, so I’m sorry: Personally, I’ve had a lifetime of trauma from women. I was molested by a female cousin at a young age, molested again by an adult woman while I was 11, forced into sex by different women, I was in an abusive relationship with my ex-girlfriend who beat and raped me on multiple occasions, and I’ve had my sexual boundaries disrespected many times in various ways. I’ve had all of the above invalidated by other women in my family too, and my feelings were not…

A) it doesn’t B) it’s safe to assume a lot, maybe more than less, women prefer female singers (solely based on what I’ve seen so this is strictly an opinion) so why aren’t they labeled sexist also? …it would be sexist to purposely exclude female/male artists based on their gender, but female and male artists often have unique sounds that are prominent in either gender’s music and it’s okay to prefer that because it’s literally not hurting anybody and it’s just a preference. I’ve been accused of “mansplaining” simply for agreeing with another woman’s opinion. Crazy, right? Yet I just call that condescending, not “femsplaining”.

Very odd for women to find this misogynistic. Like they take measures to avoid predators, you’re taking measures to avoid being accused of being one (which is absolutely fair enough by the way). I think it’s likely. The thing is, a lot less is considered sexual harassment/assault when it’s onto women and a lot more is considered somewhat unwanted contact (if that) when it’s onto men; and statistically men just report these things less than women. Even when we do report things that should be considered rape (for example), if they’re committed by women, it simply isn’t. The amount of men that are made to penetrate and the amount of women that are raped average around the same annually but…

Oh no, they’re complaining because some men are pointing out toxic femininity would be toxic masculinity’s counterpart. Women use being women as an excuse to be toxic all the time, in many ways. Yet even when that’s the case, it’s still “toxic masculinity” and even when blatant misandry is shown, it’s just “internalised misogyny”. Looks like there’s a lack of accountability and an abundance of self-victimisation.

I wouldn’t be able to be around my sister if I had one and she were like this. It’s completely draining being ridiculed just for exisiting. Women apply for less jobs than men yet they have a higher chance of getting employed. Most companies encourage diversity which usually means employing more women. It’s great to see more of a gender balance in a company but it’s not so great when people are using “male privilege” to discredit a man’s hard work when men aren’t necessarily reaping any benefits …

What if the man has drank significantly more than the woman? The amount of times I’ve seen guys state they were drunk and had sex with a much more sober woman. Watch the statistics significantly spike if this law and definition ever change. So many men are “forced to penetrate” according to the CDC, generally with 80+% of the perpetrators being women… but this still isn’t classified as rape.

Feminists. All the time. Blatant misandry is called misogyny. Actual hate directed to men is always, somehow, twisted to make the woman the victim.
/r/MensRights19/03/22 12:00 AM

I see this done all the time. A bunch of women do something wrong = people. A bunch of people do something wrong with the majority being men = men. It feels like trying to remove women from the blame and blaming men as much as we can even if they aren’t the sole group to blame. And of course this happens with victims too, as you mentioned.

And the fact that the term “male fragility” or “fragile male ego” is used when men are literally just reacting to things women would typically and easily get offended over if the roles were reversed (such as being insulted or body shamed, for example) We’re told to show emotions freely and expressively then demonised for reacting or being offended. By these standards every woman I know has expressed some form of “female fragility” or a “fragile female ego”… but I don’t see anyone calling it that…

As somebody who has gotten help through roughly an equal amount of male and female psychologists varying in age, I’ve found men more gentle and understanding regarding these kinds of topics, specifically an older gentleman I once had. I think you’d resonate with a male psych more but it clearly depends on the psychologist too. I’ve definitely experienced a difference in attitude towards myself from a female psych when mentioning problems regarding men in my life and problems regarding women in m…

Let me ask you a question: if a grown man openly admitted to raping a young girl, would you believe it? Or does the fact that she’s a woman in the porn industry admitting to raping someone within the same age range play into your statement? Don’t answer because it obviously does.

Put it this way: I see articles (most of the time) calling a male-teacher/female-student scenario rape, I have never seen the word “sex” mentioned in its place. I have never not seen an article with a female-teacher/male-student scenario called anything other than sex, perhaps unwanted sex if the author is generous. Obviously the legal definition of rape needs to be updated. And I think that you need to stop cherry picking articles.

The fact that so many women think false allegations don’t hurt men too…

I know this wouldn’t even be a question if a man said this to a woman. There are literally women like this, I’ve dealt with them before unfortunately.

Well why would anything a rape apologist says be credible in the first place? People that argue like this argue over nothing because they never had an argument in the first place. You deserve better friends in your life.

I’ve had this argument so many times. Shawn has said time and time again that he’s straight as people continue to push a sexuality onto him. Then they call him, and anyone else that does the same, homophobic for not liking being called something he’s claiming he isn’t. Something gay people should understand very well. They think as a straight white man it doesn’t even matter while they perpetuate the stereotype of “feminine men must be gay” which pushes the so-called toxic masculinity that they …

While he’s getting a lot of support from women and men, the comments I’m seeing in support of Sienna (which are excessive) are almost entirely from women. I’ve seen “man up”, “it’s Jack’s fault”, “I believe her”, “if he was uncomfortable why didn’t he tell her”, “he gives me off vibes and only stayed with her for popularity”, “he’s a red flag”, “maybe he shouldn’t be pretending to be her boyfriend then”, and the hashtag #siennasside to name some. It’s very clear there’s more sympathy for Sienna …

I think you did. You were manipulated and lied to. I’m sorry that happened, brother.

I’m glad he’s telling his story and I hope it encourages other male victims to tell theirs too. We need all the validation we can get. I can relate to how he felt with Sienna having been in that position with a woman myself, still thinking you have to be mindful and thoughtful of your perpetrator simply for being a woman. It makes me sick seeing all the people, mostly young girls, defending her on TikTok. It’s truly a toxic place.

A quote I like from Meryl Streep, “We hurt our boys by calling something toxic masculinity. Women can be pretty fucking toxic. It’s toxic people.”

Yet when you present an argument to “feminists” they want all the sources… when it’s their turn to explain they expect you to trust them without backing it up.

This isn’t “almost sexual assault” like your therapist suggests. It’s straight up sexual assault. And being coerced into consenting is not the same as real consent. Being manipulated into saying yes is not the same as having the option to say yes or no. I’ve had several similar sexual encounters with girls and it’s so frustrating that they aren’t treated with the seriousness they should be. Hope you’re doing okay, bro.

“Teacher has sex with underage student” is the headline I always see when it’s a female teacher and male student accompanied by an “attractive” picture of the woman. Now if the roles were reversed it would be called rape and a mugshot would be used.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
