1	Penny Arcade's comic about rape I agree that a lot of the back and forth has more to do with the reaction to the initial criticism than the rape reference itself. We have men help on the phone lines - we just always have a female volunteer as a backup in case whoever calls isn't comfortable talking to a man, they almost never have to switch over to the backup, but we have one there just in case. 3	Call to Action No co-opting intended. Most of my time contributing to men's rights causes (at least as I perceive them) has been spent through the rape crisis center - dispelling myths that men can't be raped, that all men are rapists, etc, comforting male survivors (if they feel comfortable speaking to a female about their assault, of course), and making sure my community knows that we aren't just an organization for women. 3	Does this make me a troll? Feminist can be kind of a misnomer. A true feminist should care about gender equality and would therefore want to read articles about gender issues facing men. After all, we're all in this thing together. Then again, trolling is often more about intent than content - are you trying to be antagonistic or raise awareness about gender issues?
