If advocating for personal responsibility is edgy, then you can call me Coldsteel the Hedgeheg.

A.ka. Nobody is responsible for the consequences of their actions, everyone's a victim of circumstance, and you're going to try to give lip service to personal responsibility anyways.

Nice try! We all know everyone is entitled to one perfect partner and the dude from the story went out of his way to choose wrong. I'd say it's everyone's responsibility to not reward people who behave badly in relationships. That's what you're doing when you enter relationships with poor quality partners. He probably did go out of his way to choose poorly, for all we know. So many people these days don't consider the future when making decisions. Such a person wouldn't be so dissimilar to one b…

Yes, exactly like that. And I am not being ironic here. I'm not pretending that it's a gendered issue. You simply have a victim complex if you're jumping to such a conclusion.

fight for parity within family court. Indeed, let's. But, again, if men were simply more selective in choosing partners and invested more in relationships they do have then it wouldn't be a problem. There's also evidence that courts don't favor mothers and that most fathers simply don't pursue custody. then let's allow men to terminate their parental obligation similar to abortion Again, we need to bring back the notion of personal responsibility. Your kind would see our society crumble.

Assuming that's an accurate account of what happened, your father still chose to get with a woman who wasn't going to be a good partner or mother. That shouldn't be condoned either. We need to bring back the notion of personal responsibility.

No skin off my back. Fathers who abandon their children are scum.

Have we? Because I'm a father and I don't feel that way at all.

I'd simply say that most people in general have fulfilling love and sex lives, to be honest.

I bet she'd love hanging out with my male coworkers the women got upset. I guess I'm a special case; my personality or demeanor hasn't changed at all and does not appear alpha in any way, at least on your end it wasn't serious. I'm really selling myself short because I assumed that because the things I would need from her to even consider her as a possibility in coming with you, provided that she qualifies.
