A seeming contradiction - if 90% of communication is non-verbal, then why optimize for interesting conversation? When you say "listening" what does that mean to you, Brannus? | /r/seduction | 11/02/13 03:43 PM
A seeming contradiction - if 90% of communication is non-verbal, then why optimize for interesting conversation? When I speak on the phone 100% of my communication is verbal. Pauses count, speed, volume, emotion, content, focus, all of that. In the end, though, this is how it works: Idea -> Communication -> Recipient. If the idea is shit, it doesn't matter how good of a communicator you are :) I wrote a starter guide on improving conversation skills a couple days ago if it interests anyone. I like the topic so I'll probably keep it up and make it FAQ-like, so if anyone has thoughts let me know. | /r/seduction | 11/02/13 03:41 PM
Dale Carnegie's "don't kick over the beehive" advice and speaking your mind. There's a difference between an idea and the expression of the idea. You're taking honesty too literally. Anger can be honestly expressed by punching someone in the face or by saying, "I'm angry right now, let's talk about this later." If you want to keep expressing it the same way, you'll keep getting the same result. If you keep hiding it, you're not following the rule that you'd presumably like to follow--honestly expressing your thoughts. If you'd like to be able to honestly express your tho… | /r/seduction | 08/07/12 09:54 PM
How to keep the fire burning when you only get to hang out 4-5 times a month due to having crazy schedules? LTR style.a week isn't really that long Have you had sex yet? "Fire" is a good way of expressing what you're trying to get, as a metaphor, but really you need to positively contribute to her life. That doesn't mean you have to buy her shit, but she has to see you as someone with whom to spend time or talk with in order to feel good. The answer to your question is "make her feel good." Of course, the how is a really big answer. But think of two or three things that you could improve about yourself--work on… | /r/seduction | 28/06/12 10:00 PM
Help me out Seddit: Evolution of Seduction since the 1990sHey man :) I've finished reading all of the 1999-2012 books and I've got your two on the list to read. Give it about 2 months and I'll update here and on seddit :) | /r/seduction | 28/06/12 12:49 PM
Girl flirting with my friend and I, at the same time, while were together. What is she doing, and why is she doing it?Flirting is fun. I flirt with everyone, doesn't mean I'm going to sleep with them or even want to. Assume that they're interested, but realize that they're probably just trying to make themselves and you feel good at the time with no long-term goal. This isn't a game and it's not something to be punished. It's positive and fun, until you react negatively. | /r/seduction | 27/06/12 05:33 PM
Is there an active community for people who are a bit more advanced?Try finding places, groups and people outside of what is recommended here. The most "advanced" guys do their own thing. It started with the evolution into Day Game and moved into all walks of life. Night clubs are what LS, VA, RSD etc. teach newbies to do. I feel like that's only valid for 2-3 months but most people stick with it. Venture forth :) | /r/seduction | 27/06/12 05:30 PM
FR: Boyfriends and where to go from here...Kinda bummed out since she would have been the hottest girl I'd ever pulled if I'd done it right. This line ruined the whole story for me. This absolute stunner comes up to me and we get chatting, we have a shit load in common, live near each other, and really hit it off. Everything either of us said excited the shit out of the other person. It was like meeting your best friend for the first time. She was awesome. This made you sound cool. | /r/seduction | 14/06/12 04:00 AM
Just got sent this in a text and without hesitation forwarded it to 2 girls. What is seddit's analysis?Exactly, it's funny. I'm very pro-honesty, intentions and otherwise. But that doesn't mean that you can't have a sense of humour. Also, who cares if it's canned? You can even tell her that someone else sent it to you and it'll still be funny. My favourite routine is from Mehow, who stole it from Mystery and repurposed it. "Alright so I'm psychic. Yeah, I'm cool like that. Now think of a number DON'T TELL ME... think of a number between one... and two. And it has to be even. Is it two?" Having ha… | /r/seduction | 14/06/12 03:57 AM
"The richer the statements you give, the richer the responses you can potentially receive"No game at all is needed during "day game". Game is the subset of social skills used for dating. In that way, I completely agree--you don't need to seduce a stranger on the street to eventually see her again. But the problem arises when someone reads that thinking that you just walk up with what you've got. Unfortunately, 90% of guys in the world don't have good enough social skills to bring this kind of thing off. Cold approach is being social on hard mode. So, what most guys have when they app… | /r/seduction | 06/06/12 03:55 AM
Something I read about gurus awhile ago. I hope it's wrong, if it isn't the legitimacy of the seduction community will be destroyed for me.Myself and lots of guys I know date girls way out of our leagues appearance-wise. Your criteria is flawed though, appearance has so little to do with the game for guys. The material that I started with had minimal impact on how I learned, that's why I don't teach it. There are too many dangerous ideas in there that I wouldn't recommend the conventional stuff, including most of the sidebar content. You can learn a lot from it if you have a critical mind and have the motivation to go out and test … | /r/seduction | 05/06/12 03:49 AM
I'm fine with conversing and everything else, next step is making a move. Need help on this!Yep :) There's a part of learning where you try and fail, and there's a part of learning where you try and succeed. You need to be OK with the first to ever get the second, and the more you get the second the more confident you'll be. | /r/seduction | 04/06/12 04:14 AM
I'm fine with conversing and everything else, next step is making a move. Need help on this!A lot of things, man. The emphasis you're putting on "tricks" like "staring deep into her eyes" and the fact that she was entirely controlling the flow of the conversation when you wanted to shows that you're missing the basics. But "the basics" is a huge topic that you'll have to resolve on your own. For kissing, Jeremy Soul once told me that if you want to know if a girl will kiss you, you try to kiss her. There was no moment where you couldn't have tried to kiss her--her talking, not being al… | /r/seduction | 04/06/12 02:57 AM
Something I read about gurus awhile ago. I hope it's wrong, if it isn't the legitimacy of the seduction community will be destroyed for me.The gurus aren't even close to as good as you think they are. I've gone out with professionals from all sorts of different organizations and they almost always go home alone. Sometimes they wind up with Victoria Secret models, like the European LS instructors. But not all of the time. There's a lot of bad marketing going around saying that you'll be a superman, everything will be easy eventually. I don't think that that's possible with the way people are learning these days. But if you're thinki… | /r/seduction | 04/06/12 02:49 AM
A message for musicians/artists that I found to be very interesting and relevant. Use art carefully!Yeah, women are manipulative and evil! Beware! Wait, why is this whiny trash here? The message of, "Do it for yourself," is fine. "Do it for yourself because otherwise women, who are always looking for a chance to use you, will take advantage of it," is horrible. | /r/seduction | 02/06/12 03:38 AM

Golden Suggestions to those who wants to try and meet women and tired of being socially inept? They showed this with dogs wagging their tails too. The dogs became happier when scientists used a string to wag the dog's tail. It applies to all aspects of body language (physiology). It's how we read people's minds in a room--look at someone and you can tell how they're feeling. Sad, defeated people slouch and look tired, usually covering their sensitive spots with their arms--abdomen for men, breasts for women, armpits and groin for both. Don't just smile, change your whole physiology. There… | /r/seduction | 01/06/12 07:43 AM
Conventional Wisdom: Asking a Girl OutI can't find it :( It was in a 21Convention video that TofuTofu posted. When I say complex I mean reaaally complex though. There are like 10 steps and some of them rotate etc. etc... it was too much for my little mind. | /r/seduction | 31/05/12 11:35 PM

Help me out Seddit: Evolution of Seduction since the 1990sWooow... thanks man, that's awesome. I don't really want the newest version of Weber's book, so I'll have to scrounge for a first edition. That's a gem for this study though. Also, this is cool: How to Pick Up Girls! was made into a movie that screened on TV in 1978. source I'll see if I can't find a Penguin or some other annotated version of Ovid's Ars Amatoria. It's hilarious that it's written in year 2. My time-line is going to need a squiggly to show an almost 2000 year difference now :D | /r/seduction | 31/05/12 01:04 AM
Is it normal for girls to be turned off by a guy after they hook up?I like the chase. Honestly, I'll see a girl and be thinking, "I wonder what colour her underwear is..." or "I wonder how good she is in bed?" Maybe I just want to know if I can turn her on that much, what she's like when she's horny. Sometimes I just have fantasies about girls I know. My sex drive isn't really picky. The problem is, I am picky. I'm no stranger to women, and I like having all sorts in my life. But there are lots of things that turn me off like hell. | 1 | Help me out Seddit: Evolution of Seduction since the 1990sYeah, I'm at a loss. I'll do a bit more digging before I release the project and maybe incorporate anything I find in a history section to expand later. Casanova's memoirs are amazing though. If you have any game or success with women, a lot of what he says makes sense. It's not advice though. If you do any digging and find something, let me know :) That would be marvellous :) | /r/seduction | 24/05/12 01:34 AM
Playing it cool when someone tries to AMOG you.Do you think these two things are mutually exclusive? I'm saying that: Doing things to make people like you < doing things to positively affect the situation. I'll write an article about it. It's a waste to put it on a 6th level comment. If you'd like to make an argument for "doing things to make people like you," I'd be interested in seeing it. | /r/seduction | 23/05/12 03:57 AM
Playing it cool when someone tries to AMOG you.The issue is, as above, that "DHV stories" are intensely hurtful to your mindset. We can (and do) easily teach other things. | /r/seduction | 22/05/12 11:56 PM
Playing it cool when someone tries to AMOG you.Why even tell a cool story in the first place? Why not tell a super boring story? Why talk about yourself at all? You want the other person think specific things about you... And this is the "it hurts people's mindsets" part of why I don't like "DHV stories." Suddenly everything is "Me vs. You." I can see right through people who tell "DHV stories," as can most everyone else--I'm sure you can too. | 26 | Playing it cool when someone tries to AMOG you.No worries :) I have different feelings about the terms. As a teacher, I see them hurting people's mindsets. I see it as dehumanizing to say, "I told a DHV story," because now you're not doing something to do it but rather doing something to manipulate. It's like if I said, "I talked to you to sleep with you," vs. "I talked to you because I wanted to. And then we slept together." Etc. Etc. I'm sure a lot of people disagree; maybe I should make a better attempt to change it :) Either way, awesome… | /r/seduction | 22/05/12 04:41 AM
Playing it cool when someone tries to AMOG you.I like it man. I think you're at a point where using terms like "rotation," "DHV stories" and referring to girls as a number are needless if not hurtful to you. You'd sound like a normal guy if this story didn't include that stuff. | /r/seduction | 22/05/12 04:28 AM
A way to get her to (accidently) open you.And approach backwards at a 45 degree angle... | /r/seduction | 22/05/12 04:22 AM
Why most indirect approaches don't lead anywhere.Indirect approaches work if you realize that girls know you're flirting with them anyway. The only difference is that you're letting the girl calibrate her own situation. E.g., a girl with her mom in set (... it happens) may feel obligated to blow you off if you go in direct, but something like, at a bus stop "Hey, where's the nearest bus stop?" She'll be freer to chat as you opened with a joke and she has plausible deniability, "I don't know mom, he's just friendly." Personally, the more cold a… | /r/seduction | 13/05/12 06:42 AM
Let's compile a list of lines that frame the woman as the sexual aggressor. Contribute you own!"I need trust and comfort first." "My mom warned me about girls like you." "Just so you know, we're not having sex tonight." "Before you get any ideas, it's my time of the month." Point at your shoes but don't look at them or explain why you're pointing. Wait for her to look. "Hey, my eyes are up here. Geez, all you think about..." Text her, "Smile if you masturbate." Wait until she gets it. Shocked smile... "...You dirty girl." | 3 | i am suspicious...Whether it's downplayed or not, there's zero point in being concerned with the distance between your eyes. The only reason to be concerned about that is so that you have another excuse to give up. | 1 | Help me out Seddit: Evolution of Seduction since the 1990sActually some companies still only charge ~$500, and certain types of bootcamps go for less. There's some "brand pricing" going on for the big names, just like buying Nike shoes. Like always it's a consumer-driven market, I'd say. More interesting to me is that the preferred teaching method has been 3 day weekend bootcamps and seminars since 1995. | /r/seduction | 11/05/12 04:00 AM
Help me out Seddit: Evolution of Seduction since the 1990sThat's a touchy subject to get into here. But you can basically tell where someone learned their game based on what version of crazy they're dealing with in themselves. The more modern stuff has significantly fewer ideas that induce that in people, but even then... the unguided learning method of "just do cold approach" leaves lots of room for error still. | /r/seduction | 10/05/12 11:26 PM
Help me out Seddit: Evolution of Seduction since the 1990sthe old school pickup book that was the end-all-be-all before pickup took off... That would be the first one, How to Lay Girls Guide by Tony Clink Jan 1999. The Game isn't an attempt to teach anyone anything, so if I glean knowledge from it I'd mostly be making assumptions. I'm not doing a superficial look at "game" so much as I'm looking at the history of what's being taught. I'm not looking at secondary "research" done by others in the community because none of them even try to be unbiased. | 1 | Help me out Seddit: Evolution of Seduction since the 1990sI didn't really read these as a learning exercise, but most of the stuff I gleaned was fairly advanced inner game stuff--most of that was in Blueprint by RSD. A metric ton of what I read has just been rehashed in different ways by different people. That having been said, if I make a recommendation it's not based on theory or originality, it's based on the stuff you accidentally pick up while learning things. | 1 | Why does a lack of interest sometimes drive girls nuts?Of course :) Sometimes that "type" is bendable, like "I like tall guys," in my experience, has often meant "I like confident guys." But yeah, a lot of those types aren't, like a 17 year old girl might just never, ever date a 90 year old guy. Or a guy might never date another guy. Makes sense :) | /r/seduction | 07/05/12 01:18 AM
Why does a lack of interest sometimes drive girls nuts?Kind of a negative perspective on women, them trying to take you over and all. | /r/seduction | 06/05/12 08:35 AM
Why does a lack of interest sometimes drive girls nuts? It's not a lack of interest so much as it's a lack of neediness. Most people who are interested are also needy. Not a general truism, of course--attractive people get out of this. The trick to getting the drive girls nuts part is in being interested but not needy. Look at some of the examples given in the other replies and you'll see this pattern. | /r/seduction | 06/05/12 08:34 AM
Seddit, please help me expand my social network!! Has anyone here started from nothing?Hey man, I'm actually working on solving this exact problem. The general outline is simple: 1) Join clubs, social events, social classes (e.g. toastmasters, writing workshops etc), etc. 2) Get phone numbers. This is easy at these events. 3) Invite people from one event to another. Start doing that and you'll have more questions--but it really is that easy. | /r/seduction | 05/05/12 02:50 PM

If you're worried about making things uncomfortable, use a lot of disqualifiers. But it's boring and uncomfortable to not flirt when you're at a club with just you and a girl, especially if she's shy. If she wasn't shy she might move away from you and let other guys hit on her, or she'd flirt a little bit herself. | 4 | I really like this way to open a new conversation over textYep, I completely agree. It's value-seeking. "Hey, I'm not interesting, please give me entertainment." It's the same feeling as when someone texts me, "Hey." I automatically know that they're bored, boring, and begging for me to spend my time and energy amusing them. Better text, "Hey, I'm going rock climbing tonight if you want to come." | /r/seduction | 29/04/12 05:26 AM |

What to do after you've got a girl's number? The reason is actually for a bit more of an advanced text game thing. Her reaction to your "it was nice meeting you" text message will give you indicators on how to proceed. For newbies it's just good because they'll subconsciously see the original reaction and later they'll understand what it means. | /r/seduction | 26/04/12 01:39 AM

No need to get involved in the negativity of it all. | /r/seduction | 19/04/12 12:48 AM |

Meeting women in a small town.If everything is one giant social circle, you should involve yourself in that social circle. Since when is cold approach God? My friends who got laid the most in high school (I assume you're in high school or at most little older) were in 4-5 different social groups. Join different clubs, sports teams, meetups, etc. Get a job as a server at a restaurant. With 4-5 different social circles and social events, you'll be swimming in women. | /r/seduction | 15/04/12 09:04 AM
Trouble responding to a compliment on age."Thanks." Smile. I have a couple of age-related "routines" or stories that I go into. They're just things that I've said so many times that I usually tangent into them. E.g., I have this theory that, if a girl likes you or is attracted to you, she'll guess your age closer to hers. If she hates you or dislikes you, she'll guess further away. I also noticed that I could guess their age if they were attracted to me by multiplying the difference by two. So, if she's attracted to me, I'm 24, and she … | /r/seduction | 15/04/12 08:58 AM
I worked as a pick up instructor for over a year in New York. The course costs over a thousand dollars but can be summed up into three small rules.I have the same tick. For me it's because I assume that she NEEDs me to make her happy. Screw that, I don't want to be her everything. That's a ton of responsibility. Plus it's lazy. Wanting and needing are different. This girl I chatted with over bbq recently said that she's super independent but she secretly loves it when a guy leads her. That's more like it. | /r/seduction | 13/04/12 05:05 AM
Month of Approaching - Day 11 - Trouble with club gameHaha I hope you get through it :) Make sure you do each point justice though and only scratch them off the list when you KNOW them. Good luck! | /r/seduction | 12/04/12 03:56 AM
Month of Approaching - Day 11 - Trouble with club gameHey OP, I always recommend to students that they have a list of THREE things to improve when they go out. 10 is too many, it's an excuse to not do most of the things on the list. As for trying things with girls, definitely put locking in on your list, and some kind of routine or gambit. I know routines are shit-talked a lot, but you learn things from trying them--they're not the end-game, they're practice. | /r/seduction | 12/04/12 01:32 AM

TL;DR girl tells me she is so turned on by my confidence, This makes me feel unconfident. help?I don't like cold approach, but you shouldn't assume anything. Remember what they say? When you assume you make an ass out of u and me :) I've done thousands (I'm not exaggerating--I did about a hundred/week over two months while I was on Rockstar and I don't like indirect openers) of cold approaches using that line and only once or twice has a girl thought I was creepy. It has led to sex numerous times. I was taught it by Mr. Jeremy Soul who is the leading authority on Day Game in the world. I … | /r/seduction | 10/04/12 04:45 AM
An awesome chick decides to ignore me. What to do, Seddit?Forget about her for a moment and read one of the bibles front-to-back. Magic Bullets is a good one. Focus on the psychology parts. If you can find the sparksnotes version of The Red Queen, that might be good too. You're really not on the level where you can effectively use one-shot advice :( Seduction isn't a magic tool or a single tip. It's an intricate framework you use to improve yourself and describe that better man to others. For the specific situation, I'd frame her as a sexual person, a … | /r/seduction | 10/04/12 04:41 AM
An awesome chick decides to ignore me. What to do, Seddit?Poking battles were windows for escalation. Her telling you via her friends (with girls this is never an accident) was a window for escalation. You missed both of these. You telling her via her friends was a mistake. This may be her reacting to your issues. At the very least you need to realize that you haven't been playing this properly. EDIT: I originally thought you were 16/17 until I read the bar part. Try not to take offence to that as there's nothing meant, but maybe read a biography-type … | /r/seduction | 09/04/12 03:17 PM
| -1 | [FR] What to do when a woman is terrible at kissing?Lots of Chinese girls have called bullshit to me on their friends saying that they're virgins. I think it's a cultural thing. Personally it's a turn-off anyway--virgins scare me. Also, could be true, and in that case I envy you a good blow job. | /r/seduction | 09/04/12 11:36 AM |
TL;DR girl tells me she is so turned on by my confidence, This makes me feel unconfident. help?If you haven't really planned anything, you can just walk around during the day on a shopping street, downtown, in a mall, etc. "Hi, I just saw you walking by and I had to tell you that you look amazing. I'm AnthonyLol." I'd recommend taking more time to plan it out though and just scheduling a bajillion social activities into your life. Also, call up female friends just to chat, and if it seems natural then invite them to hang out and grab coffee. Cold approach is great and all but I found a lo… | /r/seduction | 09/04/12 10:29 AM
TL;DR girl tells me she is so turned on by my confidence, This makes me feel unconfident. help?Ah sorry, as in, "others are not confident in social situations." I guarantee that you're confident about something. Like your ability to turn a computer on. You don't even think about it. It doesn't faze you. You've done it a million times. And even if it doesn't work, you can troubleshoot, or if that doesn't work you know a guy who knows a guy to fix it. That's confidence. If you thought to yourself, "I'm amazing at turning on computers," you'd just shrug and think back, "I know ;)" Your issue… | /r/seduction | 09/04/12 07:21 AM
So whats the next step?Well, you can't have sex via facebook, and you can't have sex in a coffee shop (or can YOU!?). Your issue is logistics. I imagine you don't have tons of experience setting up dates that lead back to your house. Think about ways to accomplish that, and it should all come naturally. | /r/seduction | 09/04/12 06:38 AM
TL;DR girl tells me she is so turned on by my confidence, This makes me feel unconfident. help?Haha wow. That's an interesting dilemma. For compliments, your response is, from this day forward, "Thanks." Don't be modest and don't compliment back. Just say "Thanks." If you want to push it, try throwing in, "I know ;)" For confidence, you're knee-deep in guys who have the same issue as you. Personally, I don't. When asked why, I respond that it's because I've seen basically everything there is to see, and if I haven't seen it yet, I'm sure it'll be more exciting than sitting at home on sedd… | /r/seduction | 09/04/12 06:34 AM
Woman here, just curious: what makes you sex zone women?I want this reply at the top... It's not a question of sex vs. relationships. Quoting OP: But maybe they just aren't attracted to my personality? Bingo. Hit the self-development. Be funnier. Communicate better. Create excitement and adventure in your life. Inspire others. Fix the little things. Butcher negativity. Even if you're a wonderful person, it'll never hurt to be more wonderful. Also, when you're done give me a call :) I've only met a handful of women who care enough to focus on building… | /r/seduction | 09/04/12 06:26 AM

Any Ottawa Sedditors?Hey Mooza, there's a bit of a schism right now because the old forum was having lots of trouble. Slip, myself and as many of our favourite folks from the old lair as possible are over here now - the new ottawa community. Don't want to advertise it but we're organizing some events and such these days - next Wednesday is the next one. | /r/seduction | 03/03/12 07:46 AM
