I think the top 20% is too wide a range. I’m in that and my tinder results aren’t very good. I get some matches but not enough. The messaging that you need must be on point if you are not super attractive. I can go out at night and have a better chance at something than if I were to use tinder. It’s probably top 10% that you need to be these days.
