Dated a girl once who had a male best friend who was in love with her (they’re still friends I believe). “Does it bother you that I’m friends with [name]?” she asked. “No,” I replied. And why would it? This dude was a pussy. He confessed to being in love with her after knowing her for a month. A philosophy major type, who will never go to the gym. The kind of guy who only has female friends, because he’s so soft he can’t handle having male friends. She was disappointed, because if I had been jea…

The science backs me up on this one. Status is significantly associated with reproductive success for men, and it doesn’t depend on what kind of status it is. Here’s one meta-analysis paper that talks about it. Do good looking/tall guys get laid a lot? Certainly. Looks and height are a status symbol, and they’re easier to acquire just by being lucky than putting in the work to actually be good at something. But a dude who is just tall and good looking will get laid far less than a dude who’s at …

I would say it’s a feedback loop. Both of those things give me confidence bc they help me attract girls, but bc I’m confident that makes me more attractive. It is a little bit more complicated than just being tall and handsome though. I’ve been working on this idea of what I call a “status portfolio” that I’m hoping to post here soon. Basically, I have a lot of different things going for me beyond just my physique that make me more attractive because I have the together and that gives me confide…

Consider this. Imagine there are ten women and ten men in a space ship escaping earth (or one hundred or one thousand apiece, whatever). This small group of humans is fleeing Earth to save the species by going to another planet and starting anew. Given the stakes of survival, each one of those women is going to need to get pregnant as many times as possible in order to give the species a fighting chance at surviving. However, with the number of eggs each has being limited, each mother is going t…

IMO, male disposability is just one half of a two sided coin. Women are inherently reproductively valuable because eggs are scarce and sperm is abundant. That means fertility is going to determine 90% of a woman’s sexual market value. If you aren’t an attractive woman, then there’s not much you can do about it. Men, by contrast, are valuable for what they can provide. Sure, men are disposable, but that’s if the only value they provide is as cannon fodder. If you’re a dude with his shit together …

Reminds me of the idea of time cones used in strategic planning: https://www.consupts.com/use-time-cones/ Essentially: the further out in time you go, the less certain you are about what the future holds. The number of variables at play increases the number of possibilities, hence, the cone gets broader as you go outward in time. Goals like getting fit are pretty easily definable in terms of what you have to do to get there and the time it takes most people to see some results, so they should fa…

Kudos man. I had a similar story happen to me about a month ago. A friend dated a girl about five years back who we’ll also call M. I moved away for college around that time (and discovered TRP shortly after), but while I was home for the summer I got to know her. My friend was an athlete in high school, ripped, but pretty beta. She was thick and cute, but nothing to special to look at. They broke up after about two years of dating. I went home about a month ago and went out to the bar with the …

Saw a comment on twitter regarding this: “Vaguely recall reading an idea that after older males have obtained power, they have an incentive to prevent younger males (sexual competitors) from upstaging them. So they carefully undercut men and promote women” Makes sense. Obama was once the most powerful man in the world. Now he holds on to whatever influence he has left by demeaning men

For anyone looking for a low investment first date, I take girls to a local bakery in my city. Most of the pastries are like $3, so I don’t break the bank yet also get to balance out my AF with a little BB. It’s also a nice treat for me to break from my low carb diet. Then we go for a little walk around the park nearby. Easy opportunities for conversation to flow by walking through the city, and ample opportunity to kino by directing her which way to go or simply holding hands. After working out…

I’ve experienced something similar. Wouldn’t say I’m really “friends” with these girls, but I do have a lot of girls in my social circle that are either dating my male friends or who are friends with my male friends. Going out to bars with a big group of people that is mostly girls (that you aren’t trying to game) is MASSIVE social proof. Intergender friendships aren’t the same as intragender friendships. We really need a separate word for it, because men get confused and expect friendships with…

I’m only a few chapters in so far, so take this with a grain of salt. I’m pretty familiar with Dr. Peterson’s work, having listened to his Biblical Series on YouTube, along with some of his other lectures and interviews. I’m getting a great deal out of it, as it distills all of those videos into chapters that can be summarized in a single sentence (the rule). That all said, I feel if one is not familiar with his work and style of thinking, the book could be a bit disorienting and confusing. Ther…

Read a study once that claimed that Facebook interactions that accurately reflect the relationship two people have in real life were similar enough to our brains that the study could find no significant difference between the two. Let’s assume that a) you do have a pre-existing relationship with these girls (I.e. you have met them in real life) and b) the results of the study hold true for texting as well as Facebook. Then I would say that logistics only texting is ineffective. As a 22 year old,…

I think it’s natural to think of ex-girlfriends during hard times. Hard times are chaotic and full of unknowns. Girlfriends usually come during periods of stability in our lives. I think you’re thinking of your ex because she represents the familiar and stable past you had. You’re longing for that more so that her specifically, I’d say. As for why the post-grad years are so hard, I can’t exactly say, as I’m still in school myself. Based on the experiences of friends and cousins, I think it’s lik…

Dude, you moved to another country, and you just got out of college. Post-grad years are tough enough, since you’re trying to orient yourself to the world without the hierarchy of school to guide you. But trying to do that while also adjusting to another culture? No wonder you’re having a hard time. Idk how long you’ve been over there or why you took a job there. But I’d wait a significant amount of time before uprooting yourself again to come back. Forget your ex. Focus on yourself and building…

Had a similar situation where a girl sent me nudes and unfriended me on snap. I️ think what happened was she felt slutty for sending nudes to a guy she had never met in person before, and since women aren’t logical creatures, she blamed me for making her feel like a slut. So she did the only thing could to psychologically distance herself from me, which was delete me as a friend and never talk again.

I did something similar last month. Wrote a long letter explaining my feelings to a girl I used to hook up with, just pages and pages of why I did everything I did. But I wanted to fuck her again, so I didn't send it (and I am fucking her again). Here's the thing. Like one of the other posters said, the blue pill never completely leaves our bloodstreams. One thing I've noticed over the years is that my friendships have emerged from shared experiences. I had someone try to tell me once that men become friends by sitting down and talking. I don't think that's true; I think men become friends by doing things together, rather than just talking. Talking gets you to lower your defenses, but the friendship emerges from that shared experience you have. A bunch of commenters in this thread mention team sports as a way to make friends. It's summertime, which to me, is the best time for tinder dates. Anything that's cheap, and outside, should be on the table. I live in a major city, so YMMV with some of these ideas, but they should be applicable. I like to walk around a lot on first dates, because the changes of scenery make conversation easier. My suggestions will include some sort of walk. Ice cream. Easy, cheap, seasonal, and mobile. Walk around after. Pastries. Again, easy, cheap, and mobile. There are a few popular bakerie…

Couldn't agree more. Something that drives me crazy is when people talk about the American Dream and equality. The American Dream wasn't about equality at all. It was pure Social Darwinism. The American Dream was based around the idea that people could come to America and make something of themselves free from the class restrictions of European societies. Without these elites being able to live off the success of their ancestors, America was a radically Darwinian place. Survival was contingent o…

I feel like part of the reason you don't see guys with white collar jobs fucking babes is because their job is part of their sexual strategy. Their life plan goes something like "work hard in school, get [white_collar_job], find a wife, buy a house, start a family, etc." And guys who have these types of jobs are so focused on getting this type of lifestyle that they settle as quickly as possible. What's the point in playing Tetris? To get the highest score you can and have fun doing it. Similarly, in life, there's no intrinsic purpose. But we're here, and we're playing. IMHO, we might as well go for the high score. The best part of where you're at now is that you'll soon realize that a life without intrinsic meaning means that you get to choose what you live for. To continue with the Tetris analogy: that means you get to decide how you score points! You get to decide what the "correct" w…

Have my three pictures. Try to make it obvious in the first pic who I am (why I like leading with a pic of a girl). Don't link my Instagram or Spotify bc I don't have time for that shit. My bio is something funny I saw on a bar sign once. Skipping a line below that I list my height (I'm 6'3") and my fraternity. Assuming you're in college: You say you go to a large school. Try looking for a different set of friends. Transferring schools is a dramatic change. Two close friends of mine transferred after their freshman years, for financial and academic reasons. One struggled socially as well, but that was a secondary factor in transferring. In your case, I'd only consider it if there were other benefits to transferring (I.e. New school is cheaper, has better academics, has easier academics if you're strugg…

There's no single solution, I or anyone, can offer you. Lifting fixes a lot of things; you'll see it recommended often. For everything else? You just gotta start doing something and find what works. Like playing guitar, everything takes practice. My advice? Start with the basic shit, like your posture, fitness, and acne. Fixing those three alone should be a huge boost to your confidence.

Between college and high school, I know one Red Pill guy, and discovered that by accident. Red Pill shit isn't meant for the public forum. It's something you talk about anonymously, because people generally react negatively to it. I know where you are right…

If she's hitting the wall and religious, then I'd say that's a pretty big red flag. Especially if she's a "born again" Christian. Doesn't really work the other way around though. Being 18 and religious isn't a green flag.

UGA has hot girls? Thought the Florida schools were the ones known for their girls. Anyway man, as some of the better posters around here like to say "High school never ends". Status is still super important, no matter your age. Sounds like this crowd of people you've been hanging around hasn't quite hit the point where their markers of status have transitioned from where they were in college. Wish I could offer some advice, other than learn to deal with it, but it seems that's all I can do.

Yeah I'm a fucking idiot, I know. As for the n-count, she admitted to 10. I admit 15 is a bit conservative and idealistic, but she didn't have her first kiss until college and I believe had a boyfriend last year, so I think 15 is a reasonable estimate for her true count (though it could be around 20). As for radio silencing her, we have some mutual acquaintances, so I don't think this would be the best route. Don't want any drama

Thanks for the input. Straightforward seems like a good approach. Could you expand on the phrase "What you've seen of her are traits of her personality"? I'm not quite sure what you mean by that. As for 10-15, that's a range I made up. She admitted to 10 when it came up. Said previously she didn't get her first kiss until college, so I guessed somewhere closer to 15 would be the actual number, though I admit that's somewhat conservative. Could be high as 20 for all I know though.

Sounds like you did okay. Just a tip, movies aren't great for first dates. You don't get to converse or build up a banter (since you're sitting in the dark), which is helpful in escalating. For the future, try something where you have more chances to talk. I take girls to a bakery in my city for the first date, and then walk the neighborhood around it. Cheap, and the movement keeps the conversation flowing pretty effortlessly.

I wouldn't go as far as to say it can't be done. Religion provided an effective check on hypergamy, until relatively recently. It wasn't perfect, but it provided a strong enough incentive in the long term for women to choose pursuing relationships over riding the CC. That said, creating incentives for women to not be hypergamous on a society wide scale is still a gargantuan task. Even with all the men we have here. Remember, TRP is the male response to feminism, not a solution to it.

I don't necessarily disagree, but I think the post would be more accurate by changing some terms. The OP describes people in terms of good and evil, arguing that since most people choose their base instincts over choices that would be more beneficial in the long, they are evil and pieces of shit. I'd argue that a more accurate descriptor than "evil" would be "self-interested". Great post. I commented on revenge recently over in AskTRP, and would like to add a few things. Revenge has been scientifically proven to not feel as good as you think. Psychology Today has a good article explaining the results of the study on this and what the mechanism behind it is. Revenge is also bad for you because you are not operating within your own frame. Rather, if you want revenge on someone, you are operating in theirs. They are not thinking about you AT ALL. Yet, you are still think…

I agree. Marriage 1.0 was great for men because it (in theory) satisfied all of their lower order needs. Food prepared, house clean, sex/intimacy, a family that loves you, etc. When your basic needs are satisfied by the system you've created around you, it makes it much easier to succeed, because you can focus on things that otherwise wouldn't be priorities, like your career, hobbies, etc. That's why the globalists invented feminism to destroy the family unit and jacked up prices on going to col…

Okay. Do you have a job, or any interests you can build friendships through? I'd say that's step one. Step 2 would be to withdraw from the group a little bit. Not in an anti-social way, but just keep yourself busy enough that you don't see/talk to them for a little bit. If you're available to them all the time, then they're more likely to rip on you, instead of just shooting the shit like when you catch up with someone.

I'd add 1984 and Animal Farm by Orwell. Neither are too long, but have a ton of themes/symbolism that relate to our modern world. In an age where conscription is largely symbolic, and wars are increasingly being fought with technology rather than people, yes I do. In this day and age, men are just cogs in the machine. Easily replaceable. That goes for CEO's, not just your average engineer or oil rig operator. These masses of men serve no purpose to the elites beyond being cogs in continuously growing machines. For the first camp, a better way of phrasing "talking to girls without intending to get laid" would be "talking to girls without expecting to get laid". The difference between intention vs. expectation is a subtle, but important one. Expectations set you up for failure, whereas intentions do not. Being upfront with your intentions is important, because you aren't wasting your time with them. You immediately check if they're interested, and if not, you move on.

Also, when she says "deeper" is there anything I can do so I'm hitting that depth from the get go? Rather than just attempting to shove my dick farther in than it already is at the time

It does. Think about it this way. Ya know how they say don't judge a book by its cover? Everyone (men and women) ignores that. Muscles in men are an indicator of dominance. If a woman you're interacting with thinks "Okay, this guy fits the mold of a guy I would fuck physically" then your job just got a little bit easier.

Yeah. My understanding is that "Sex God Method" covers the bedroom experience as a whole, and creating that environment, as opposed to the physical act of sex.

I'm a pretty avid user of tinder/bumble. It's really all about ego/validation now. I'm lucky I'm in a big college town, so I still get a few dates/numbers out of it. But if I were anywhere else, I would have deleted it all by now.

This. You rarely, if ever, buy something without a reasonable expectation that it will be good. Shit testing is how women ensure they're investing in something worthwhile. Think of it as how they get information about your worth, since there's no CarFax or review section available for you.

People are fiercely defensive of their beliefs. Without them, they don't know how to function. If you want to change someone's beliefs (which I do NOT recommend you do for your friends - it's a waste of time), lead by example and wait for them to come to you. Simply telling them that they are wrong is a one-way ticket to more defensiveness, and potentially ruining relationships. As for why these BP men do this, it's because they've drank the Kool-Aid. They believe the myth. For whatever reason, …

Start planning. Sunday afternoon, when have nothing to do, sit down and sketch out your schedule for the next week. Mark out everything you have to do that week: work, when you're going to the gym, when you're eating dinner, etc. Now mark off your free time. This is when you start knocking things off your to-do list. Clean my room? Okay I'll take care of that during my free time. Read a few chapters in my new book? Same thing.

20 y/o here. I've felt that feeling. When you're doing your work, you feel on top of the world right? You're locked in, focused, and won't let anybody stop you. Then you finish your work. You come down from the high of being in a state of flow. Suddenly, you don't know what to do with yourself. This is when the anxiety sets in. Am I right so far? What I've done, is I've taken up more goals outside of my main ones. They're small ones really, like make sure my room is clean, preparing tomorrow's l…

Generally, the rule is that if she doesn't make time for you, or suggest another time to meet up, you next her. Yes, this counts as a failure. Get used to it. If your goal is to find a woman worthy of an LTR, you're going to experience a lot of it.
/r/askTRP11/05/16 02:46 AM

You're drinking the Kool-Aid a bit too much, guy. Have you ever met a true alpha in an LTR? The look of pure joy and admiration on his woman's face is something we should all strive for. Is it dependent on how much value he's bringing to the table? Yeah. But is it love? Yes. You also seem to be ignoring pair bonding. Women are absolutely capable of loving their partner. But if you expect a slut to love you, that's our fault for expecting that. Sluts are just as emotionally broken as betas. Expec…

Women can absolutely be loving. There are women capable of caring about you, and your problems. However, you have to provide them with enough value to get them to that point where they begin to care.

Love is a chemical reaction in the brain. Women are most certainly capable of love. The problem y'all seem to have is that you have to put in work to get it.

TRP doesn't teach that women can't love you. What it does say is that women don't love you like you want to be loved (unconditionally). Women love men who are great providers to them. A lot of what you want is possible with TRP. However, TRP is brutally honest about what you need to do in order to achieve it.

Honestly, confidence is not a word I would have used to describe myself last fall. Sexually, it comes with the knowledge that there are girls out there that want to fuck you. Socially, it comes with knowing that you can hold your own in the majority of situations, and can handle the consequences if you fuck up. Try to put yourself in as many situations to be social as possible. Especially if you're young. Fuck up now, rather than later. If it makes you slightly nervous, that's probably a good th…

You're welcome. Happy to help. My final piece of advice would be to figure out what you want. It's a lot easier to manage women if you have a clear cut goal in mind. Deciding before hand whether you want a ONS, a plate, or an LTR makes later decisions easier, because you know if a woman meets the standards you've set for each of those three things.

I've wondered about this myself. Personally, I only superlike girls that I know are: a little bit out of my league looks-wise (doing otherwise defeats the purpose of the superlike) have some pictures that indicate they are looking for some attention (multiple bikini pics, for example). I figure the more modest girls will be put off by a superlike, b/c it's incongruent with their own self-image.

The key for me was realizing that people are always going to be pieces of shit. Women don't treat others badly simply because they're women. It's just human nature to do so. Would you start hating men just because one dude in HS was an asshole to you? Probably not. Have you treated someone poorly? Almost certainly. You want women to treat you better? Be worth treating well. I'm not going to tell you not to be angry. Anger can either fuel you or impede you. Personally, I choose to let it do the f…

Maybe things are different for you. I'm just a college kid in the States. You're an older guy in Europe. I've never been to Europe, so I can't tell you how the tinder dynamics differ between the two. What's important is that you're honest about your goals. Are you just looking to get laid? From the sound of it, online dating isn't going to get you where you want to go. Maybe. Try just getting to the point quicker, that is about 5-10 messages, before you make changes in other areas. To be honest, you seem obsessed with the idea that women shouldn't be passive in the conversation. In my experience, unless you are of such high SMV a lá Brad Pitt, you aren't going to get a girl that leads the conversation like you would lead her.

It's something you get better with over time. I still am learning how to get better at it. The mistake people make is that they think the goal of tinder/bumble is conversation. In reality, the goal on tinder/bumble is to use it to make plans in real life. As stated elsewhere on this sub and the main one, you can't generate "tingles" over text. You do that in person. My personal strategy is to open with a joke. Then make small talk until I reach a point in the conversation where I say something a…

TRP definitely doesn't encourage making jerking off a regular habit, because it kinda defeats the purpose of the whole sexual strategy to get girls bit. But I think most would recommend rubbing one out once a week. Going cold turkey is pretty tough if you aren't getting laid at least semi-regularly

Over the past two years, I've used tinder and bumble a lot. I've developed pretty tight tinder game since last September, when I discovered TRP. In my experience, a girl messaging "hey" means one thing. They want you to lead the conversation. Bumble was what led me to this conclusion, because the girl has to message first. I purposely made my bios interesting to spark conversation, and at one point made it simply "tell me a joke". While some girls would get the hint and start a conversation base…

I'll keep that in mind. To be honest, I'm not 21 yet haha, so I had to get creative. My game is pretty simple. I match on tinder/bumble, and ask if they want to go to the North End for a pastry. This works pretty well. It's a cheap date and it's very walkable so there's a lot of location changes. Girls love the area. Also important is the T accessibility. Makes it easy to get home if I close successfully.

For college-aged guys, in my opinion, it doesn't get better than Boston. There's fifty plus colleges within a 10 mile radius, with over 200,000 students. The frat scene isn't big here either (at least in my experience, it dies down after sophomore year) so the bar scene becomes huge. Tinder is also pretty big here, because of how young the population is. Very easy to get laid with strong tinder game and a good first date. Downsides: The bars close at 2, and the trains shutdown at 12:30.

Personally, I prefer Tinder. I get far more matches on there, and I automatically get the chance to lead the interaction because there's no restriction on me messaging first. Most of my matches on Bumble don't bother messaging, so Tinder is much better for where my SMV is currently. If your SMV is high enough, or you can portray yourself as high enough SMV, then you will have good results using it. IMO, it's situational. Definitely don't ask before establishing sexual tension between yourself and her. That's what a lot of guys don't get, and why asking for nudes usually ends pretty poorly. Another part of it is how you ask, and knowing the situation in which it's appropriate to ask. If a girl randomly snapchats me a picture of her with some cleavage showing at like 10 PM on a Tuesday, I know she wants attention from me. As such, I create a situation in which the only way she will receive i…

Have you tried tinder/bumble? It's pretty easy, especially on a college campus. I have friends who are overweight and pretty blue pill who have lost their virginities using it. The Tinder game guides on here are pretty good, IMO. Really all you gotta do is have your opener, get her to laugh, and then ask either what she's looking for or if she wants to hang out. Play the numbers game dude. Best odds of winning are by playing this way, IMO.

I don't really see the point of the distinction you're making here. The examples you mentioned aren't a matter of things being replaced; rather, they're given small adjustments or improvements over time that eventually eradicate the problem, i.e. muscles aren't replaced, they're developed. Developing strengths is the cure for weaknesses.

In a bizarre twist of fate, the woman of color in this situation is actually the one abusing her "privilege". She knows she can get away with intimidating him because she can claim any retaliation by him as assault, and thus, abuses the female privilege of "not getting the shit beat out of her" and uses it to bully him. Disgusting.

Honestly, feminists are just self-hating women. They realize that their value to society at large is based entirely off their looks, and quite simply, they're jealous of men. Not only of how well male SMV holds up over time, but also the fact that male SMV is based off something that isn't mostly dependent on genetics.

Second semester freshman year is when all of your friends become either "first semester friends" and fall out of your life or become your best friends that you'll stick with. I disagree that masturbation is unhealthy. Everyone has sexual needs (it's on the base of the pyramid in Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs). I'd argue that leaving them unmet for a long time by abstaining from masturbation (assuming sex with a woman is unavailable) is more damaging psychologically because of the denial of this fundamental need.
