It's a rush, almost like taking a cold shower in the morning. You might have to push yourself a little but the adrenaline and joy is instantly worth it.

"Embrace the suck" is another way to put it. https://i.imgur.com/11kcNIF.jpg

I think it's clear that this behaviour is not normal or healthy, and that by enabling this behaviour you do a disservice to yourself. You, as a man, should not indulge in a lifestyle that creates those emotional ups and downs, since they will not just affect the woman but also you. This sort of advice is probably to be taken from a "bang as many chicks as possible" / plate spinning PoV or serving that kind of lifestyle. If you're trying to apply that mindset to an LTR, I think you're poised for …

What if she likes doing what you do, wants to have sex with you at every opportunity, is always pushing for setting up a time and place to meet again, doesn't show slutty behavior, is conservative, comes from a wealthy family, still has down to earth personality? I don't get who those threads are for. Are they for beta orbiters obsessing over their princess which doesn't even consider them sexual beings? Or are they for guys debating with themselves of wether or not they're getting pulled into s…

Hitting the gym will also affect the definition of your face. I argue that getting enough sleep, good hygene, regularly doing physical work (i.e. lifting), a good haircut (and if necessary fixing crooked teeth) is enough to where looks won't be a bottleneck to your social status. This still means you have to have the rest of your shit down. This is also not me saying all that stuff were easy to fix. But it's all things you can work on, change them for the better if you put in the effort.

Why bother with all this shit just to sign a bad contract with a mood and branch swinging bitch? Good job on accumulating that wealth and taking care of your kids, but, my god, why would anyone marry today? That is, unless you have THE UNICORN(tm), feel wise enough to know you're not a delusional beta about it and at the same time still want to take a gamble.

Who "are you" then? The parties you go to? The expensive booze you drink? The hot girls you fuck? Quite pathetic if that were your identity. (Aside from the fact, that this question itself is completely irrelevant)

Everytime I see this in one of my friends, I have to throw up a little bit inside. It makes me want to hang out less with them! Yet I know full well that encouraging them to become more independent is energy wasted!

The tingles were strong in this one. Disgusting...I thought about posting this when I read it today!

The things you are talking about aren't complex enough to justify the pseudo-intellectual language you are using.

You can legitimately critize welfare states all you want, but college is one point where I'm happy to live in one.

That's 90s heroin chic, which thankfully is not really a thing anymore.

"MGTOW monk" That's a nice euphemism for being asexual.

I'm not sure how this follows. Have you personally experienced that or is it just hearsay and "common knowledge"? Maybe guys that are "alpha" (aka. have many alpha traits...remeber, alpha/beta is not a binary thing), you only do stuff that "works". In simpler terms: If you are alpha and do stupid shit, that still makes you less alpha, but you don't do that stupid shit to begin with?!

No, drink more so that you don't act weird next time you have one bottle of alcoholic nectar beer in front of women..

I like to paraphrase the same concept as: "Embrace the suck." A more worldly example: If I can smile - not in spite, but because - of the pain of my legs while pushing out that last few reps of whatever weight I squat. That gives me a certain confidence that there isn't anything I can't handle mentally. Finding pleasure in pain might lead you to be a cynical caricature of yourself, but for me it also helps pushing myself and caring less about comfort, which can give me an edge over others.

So you're acting like a bitch because she called you out on something that you didn't mean that way? I wouldn't make a big deal about it, because in the end you will be the one that looks weak. Correct way would be to simply mind your own business but not outright ignore her. If she brings it up, make a joke about it and move on. If she doesn't, why worry about it?

Curious about the edit. Could you tell us more about the hints you try to recognize and what you do with them?

Come on, that's the most straight-forward scenario imaginable. It sometimes works like that, but I dare say - even if you didn't indicate any low SMV traits before - most times it doesn't work that way. For me it certainly doesn't. I know because I mostly initiate setting a date like that. What if she lives 20-30 miles from you (remember, rural area..). There's then three options to suggest: Somewhere near your place / directly at your place -> increases likelihood of rationalizing (too far away…
