Yeah, he's 34 now and got hold of this material before it had as many labels. He literally had textbook manosphere stuff mailed to his house in a cd subscription when he was most formative. Autistic dudes really are a lot more vulnerable to this stuff.

The two are indistinguishable no?how could he be redpill and not treat me like shit? His other factors contributed to his emotional unavailability though definitely. No he didn't know he was redpilled or anything before meeting me. He just thought it was the way the world worked because he was told it when he was a teenager and never questioned it much.

Actually the opposite is true! I was willing to put aside all those areas and focus on how he treated me. Unfortunately it was the redpill stuff that largely contributed to him treating me like shit. The other stuff mattered but was secondary in my mind.

In my experience, only extremely select professionals know helpful info about autism and not harmful info but again it is better for men!

That's wonderful to hear. It seems like a great facility he is at... I just am soo worried about all the bad info out there on autism . But maybe since he's a dude he'll get better professional help than I did haha.

Thank you for commenting. Is there any tips you can share on recommending a therapist who specializes in that?

Mind is absolutely blown by the most sincerely thorough gesture of advice from a random person I have ever seen. People I've known haven't been able to give me anywhere near as relevant of input as this. I imagine you're a therapist or something but thanks for the free time.

He actually does the opposite, his shame makes it so that he respects my never talking to him again, but it's a distortion that supports his self fulfilling prophecy that everyone leaves him. He gets off easy that way! I know I don't owe him anything, he's very ok with me letting him go, but it's all selfish for me really, I just desperately want a different outcome with someone for once in my life, and he changes slowly. So I am torn but I am hoping answers will come and I am giving distance in…

I should add that we both want to be social, we just haven't been able to fit in our whole lives. We don't want to just have each other.

I've only ever met men 200x worse but thank you, I will keep hoping.

Thankyou so much for the thorough comment. I can't tell you how much it means. Logically what you suggest makes sense. However him and I are both in our thirties and there's a reason we haven't been able to connect to other people. We both have too much that sets us apart from people...not only are we both autistic but we're both schizophrenic, have both struggled with addiction and homelessness (except I beat those issues ten years ago and my personal life is thriving, as in career etc. I just …

Thankyou. I have no close relationships friendships family or otherwise, haven't since I was a teenager and I'm 30 now. So it's absolutely hard letting go of someone who's put in so much effort even if it's only mental so far. But i think I have to since his motives must not be good still.

I fully agree but he sucks with actions. He never keeps promises. He shows absolute full mental awareness and consideration for what he's done but his actions always go directly against it so it's impossible to build trust. But I've never met anyone who has the mental part down, and he does. So I'm so torn.

Thankyou. I am getting mostly people saying he's irredeemable so I'm wondering what has you saying that?

That's very helpful. However mistakes seem to be soo common with him. He doesn't feel entitled to my forgiveness or anything but he always messes up and then has full cognizance of it and apologizes then repeats the pattern. I know he's just not ready but still I've never had anyone close to me ever care like he does or keep up mentally. He just messes up in his actions always

Not even just social media but pictures are important to a lot of women and they would be sad to date you if you never wanted pictures.

Rigght... incel. Cause men are totally known to be the chatty ones right? Men will text you only to sleep with you. Then nothing after

Fuck this incel hate. Women have a dozen guys but maybe come across 1 quality one in a lifetime that can actually support her properly emotionally. Men have quality surrounding them but arent shit.

Shut up you useless incel fuck. Your story sounds plenty anecdotal. Im glad your ex did that to you

We dont withhold sex. We feel emotionally shut down. And unlike you toxic robots, most of us need to feel emotionally comfortable to have sex. We don't give a silent treatment. We feel emotionally shut down. And most of us have tried concisely divulging our feelings relentlessly with no response. So we eventually shut down. Dingus

Fuck off. It's intelligent if you've wasted life typing clinically eloquent peer-reviewed paragraphs for miasmic men who don't ever listen. Finally losing my patience and self control is a perfectly intelligent result of that. Take a lap
