I’ve seen both about the same irl, and I’ve actually been in those shoes several times. Then again, the differences in income haven’t been super drastic in my own particular cases (no more than $1k-$2k apart at most).

Not even men with money will go for a broke, uneducated woman (no matter if she’s a clone of Alessandra Daddario). A few here and there may do so (but usually via sex tourism a la “90 Day Fiancé”, but this is not common either). But more often than not, men with status will be with their socio-economic match; some Goldman-Sachs banker would rather be with a similarly employed 7 than some working class perfect ten. So no, men and women don’t tend to look for different things at the end of the day…

There are always exceptions What qualifies you to determine what are exceptions? but in general I think it’s true and just cause a woman ( leave your aunt out of it ) is a doctor doesn’t mean she can get a doctor as well. Doesn’t HAVE to be a doctor. I never specified a doctor, just said “same tax bracket”...and that includes engineers who work at top notch firms, attorneys, investment bankers, master level tradesmen, senior level military personnel...please, don’t put words in my mouth. Men and…

The main reason why, as a woman, I vehemently disagree with most of red pill BS are the following points: that there’s a set, objective and universal SMV that’s equal across the board for EVERYONE irregardless of differences in culture, education, socio-economics, etc.. Second, the very flawed logic of “women=gatekeeper of sex, men=gatekeeper of commitment”. That it’s not always so black and white. How and why? People (both men and women) decide how the want to navigate whatever they consider th…

Maybe is because I don’t have any sisters or almost no female figures in my life (my mother wasn’t much around)? I was raised mainly by my dad, brothers, (male) cousins and uncles. I’m not the most feminine. Ever thought not every woman is overly feminine?

But it does seem like you have a lot of work to do on yourself afterwards. It’s called “losing the remaining weight”. The whole “working on yourself” is sanctimonious BS. With that logic, we ALL be always alone.

I think the only celebrity man I know of who hasn’t remarried (his Wikipedia doesn’t say anything about a girlfriend or domestic partner either) after his wife died is Liam Neeson (his wife died in 2009). Because Patton Oswald remarried like six months after the death of his last wife, for example.

Meaning that my friend will be losing the husband along her weight loss journey. Hence "she will be losing even MORE weight". Out of 130lbs or so she is intending of losing, she's gonna lose like 300lbs instead.

I have a friend who lives in a pricey suburb who I smell is in the process of being a "starter wife". Her husband is quickly moving ranks among lobbyists and state government officials in their state. She just began a weight loss journey and it seems she will be losing even MORE weight than she intended.

I'm gonna throw a wild card and say this is a catfish. Someone this "perfect" is not desperate enough to denigrate themselves to online dating. They have options. If I was a man and I were to see a woman with a similar profile, I'd be suspicious too.

Ngl (and don't call me "pick me" over this), it's something that doesn't faze me. I do it too whenever I see a hot guy. He doesn't care either. He does it, I do it. It's only fair. We are humans. We have eyes. We are going to look.

My brother in law (partner's brother) and his wife are an age gap relationship. He's in his early 50's (he's much older than my partner because he's from his dad's first marriage) and she turned 30 a few months ago. She's his second wife. Their relationship is actually pretty good overall in terms of Power dynamics. They're pretty egalitarian in that aspect. HOWEVER, she already has to care for his aging problems (like diabetes, HBP and the like). That's something I had worried had I ended in su…

That reminds me of a comment made by Donald Glover (AKA Childish Gambino) in one of his stand-ups. "The reason you don't hear about crazy ex boyfriends is because those women are already dead". Sounds a bit off color but there's some truth behind it.

Many, many many years ago I met one guy like this. I barely paid attention to him and it drifted away within a few weeks. During that time, I met my current partner. After I became steady and moved in with him in a matter of months, he texted me again to see if we were "still good". I told him I met someone else and I already moved to his house. I blocked and deleted his number and never heard from him ever again.

No doubt, but u/RobbyHagan assumed OP's husband picked on OP's depression cues (hence the comment of "your depression is turning him off"). Which brings it to my next point...her husband, being the benevolent "captain" he's supposed to be should had been able to sense something was off and suggested OP to get professional help for her PPD. Isn't that what a good spouse would've done?
/r/RedPillWomen31/03/20 11:55 PM

It sounds to me like the issue is with you. You are blessed with the opportunity to be a stay at home mom There's no issues on her end. She's unhappy and trapped in a situation she never wished to be in. He probably isn't turned on by your depression. Yet at any point he offered OP going to a psychologist or the like to treat her seemly severe PPD. He sounds like a hard working good man. He might be hardworking but he ain't no good man.

A good combo of both. I can be okay with a guy who’s more average looking (eg. a “dad bod”, about 5’7”, etc) if he makes at least $60K a year. I make about $51K on my own accord. In the end, what I care the most is compatibility over anything else. I don’t want a super model-like dude (a “Chad” or “Tyrone”) because I know he won’t eat most of my food (I’m from the Hispanic Caribbean so I’m big on cooking) nor a guy who makes so much money but also slaves in an office over 80 hours a week and thu…

Man with much younger woman=it looks good for him. It makes him seem like a total stud, especially if he has money or looks good for his age. Woman with much younger man=it either looks like either of the two (or both) are desperate or just couldn’t score someone closer in age. If it’s a woman who has been married before, it makes her seem like she has a midlife crisis.

I’m not aspiring to become a cougar anytime soon, that’s why. I’m sure 19 year old me would’ve totally dated him. Some people think guys in their 30’s dating barely legal girls is creepy, wouldn’t the same apply in reverse? I’m sure one of my female cousins who are in his age range would like him, though. Plus, I already have a man that I’ve been with for almost a decade. We sometimes swing but usually with people around our age.
