I think OP might be talking about the portrayal of males as brainless, sex-frenzied criminals.

I agree. The thing is, the feminist movement started off with logic much like this--"We're underfoot, so we can do exactly what we're fighting, but it's okay because it's to compensate for inequality!" And thus their "movement" became a lynch mob of shitheads using "inequality" as reason to get away with egregious sexism themselves. If we generalize and let such hypocrisy in, we'll A: hurt our public image even further, which makes winning the hearts and minds of people impossible, and B: Embed …

The pendulum must move back towards the center. Agreed. However, if those on both sides keep heaving the pendulum away from them as hard as they can, it will never rest at the center. There will always be inequity of power, so long as those claiming a desire for equality attempt to obtain it through the same means as one would obtain superiority. In other words, putting women down does nothing to obtain the equality we in the MRM wish for, no more than mainstream feminism truly obtains equality …

According to women, this been the claimed mantra of the oppressive male justifying domestic violence, but in reality its women who truly say and believe it in their batshit insane minds. Or maybe it's just shitty, abusive people in general who think/speak that way, regardless of gender?

Most kids are idiots up into their early 20s. Shit, I'm 22 and I still catch myself being a juvenile moron at times.

Sweeping generalizations aren't welcome.

Women policing male sexuality again, and this time by imputing it themselves. The sad part is, we can't solely blame women for this. I know tons of men who propagate these hateful lines of thought as well, either coming from ignorance to the issue thanks to immersion, or from a place of self loathing masquerading as morality. I'm beginning to suspect there is something rooted in our psychology regarding this. As a psychology student, I can tell you there's about a hundred different ways in which…

I'm not really one of these "broadcasters," but for the record, chicks dig ponies. No joke. EDIT: Besides that, though... why does "turning girls off" immediately matter? Maybe the individual is gay, taken, or simply uninterested. Furthermore, what's so wrong with wearing apparel from a franchise you enjoy? Or broadcasting that you enjoy said franchise? I understand that there's such a thing as overdoing it, but in general I do feel you're over inflating the matter, simply because it's entirely …

Do you happen to have a link to that? I missed it, and would love to keep it in my bookmarks for future reference.

If it wasn't apparent from the screenshot, I'm a brony. Previously she said that bronies reek of pedophilia, simply because they're older males with an interest in a show originally promoted towards younger females. I tried to explain to her how sexist it was to assume any interest a male shows is sexually deviant in nature, but she simply resorted to "it's my opinion and it isn't changing," and "well you're an exception, the rest are sick fucks" etc.

Generalizations like this make us look weak, and are no better than the generalizations and injustices many men face every day in the world.

No, I'm saying you were asked to back up your argument in the other comment thread and you instead repeated yourself.

I was mostly referring to your other posts in these comments, actually. If you want to be taken seriously, you'll need logic, facts, and to remain mindful of fallacies. This article is NOT misogynist, however you're crying such without any backing or ground to stand on. I hope some day you can understand the difference between feminists and those who truly wish for gender equality.

Come back when you can back up your arguments with logic and facts, rather than arguing your side by repeating the same claims over and over.

The existence of masochists does not validate domestic violence against ANY gender. Shame on you.

And thank you for your efforts to see the "other side" of the matter. I appreciate it when people bring logic and critical thinking to a topic they might already have certain feelings or opinions on. The world has a lot of growing to do, and we can only bring about that growth by such actions. I do understand the other side of this topic, and although I don't agree with it I can appreciate how someone might, due to social norms or common misconceptions about hygiene or health issues, believe cir…

Major props to the author for respecting and struggling for her sons' rights. I wish more parents (both male and female) would realize how deeply personal the results of circumcision are to men.

Some men feel violated by the fact that they were circumcised, however I and many others do not themselves have much of an issue with it simply because we grew into comfort with our bodies that way. However, if I have (a) son(s) I will be strongly against having them circumcised. Ultimately the viewpoint of most anti-circumcision folks, myself included, is that it's an necessary procedure being performed on your child's sacred* flesh, some of the most personal flesh humans have, based on your ow…

Seeing as /r/MensRights seems largely anti-circumcision (as am I), I thought I'd share this little quote FTA: A more tragic case suggests the biological facts are difficult to suppress. In 1966, David Reimer, a six-month-old boy from Winnipeg, Canada, lost his penis in a botched circumcision. A psychologist persuaded David’s mother he could be raised as a girl, so his genitals were partially converted to female ones. David became Brenda, but complained he never felt female. In 2004, he committed…

While I agree that this case was grossly mishandled thanks to gender preference, I have to point out: "By engaging in inappropriate relationships with, and sexual abuse of students whom she taught, the member committed acts of professional misconduct as alleged," the report read. Although, that actually makes it a lot worse. It shows someone called it sexual abuse, and yet still, she lost her teacher's license and nothing else.

I'd like to preface this by saying I'm not a misogynist etc etc. I was raised by women, who showed me the strength women are capable of. OP, that commenter is the product of social conditioning. From birth and through a good portion of their lives, a lot of girls/women are raised to expect attention, gifts, affection, etc, constantly. They're pampered and spoiled by their parents a LOT more than boys; "Johnny, we expect you to risk injury and physically exert yourself in football for our praise,…
