When did you get the surgery? How old are you now? What are the chances of it coming back?

I mean I can't blame them if they treat me different tbh, i keep feeling like a freak and socially excluded from time to time. But yeah, treating someone that way is fucked. Could never be me. I don't really care anymore tbh, i just want my chances at dating that's all. Also is "interesting looking" the right word? 😭

Honestly i don't think how it can be a turn off for anyone if the other things are maintained fine enough, but i be in my head sometimes. Thanks tho, I've had 3 gfs so far but they haven't noticed my strabismus 100% as it's intermittent and doesn't pop out all the time but it will probably get constant as i age so it's been scaring tf out of me and making me teel alienated and all kinds of stuff

Thank you so much man, I've had a victim complex before and I'm done being pessimistic and depressed all the time. So i just decided to have hope and love myself. Hope is what keeps us alive! And i probably got puffy nipples too

I mean sure you and i both got strabismus, but still i don't feel like it should be that bad if you go to the gym, take care of your hygiene, a good hairstyle, clothes that suit you, and make a decent amount of money and have unwavering confidence and personality. These are all things possible to cultivate. Gotta try our best with whatever we got man. Our eyes are like only 1/4th of the body. Shouldn't be that bad at all. Don't call it a "death sentence" that's just wild.

My optometrist suggested my vision therapy but from what im reading online on reddit, there's no proof that it works. Makes me just depressed

I've been doing brock string exercises for a month now. Do you have any experience with vision therapy? I've read on the internet that there's no scientific proof of it working

Is surgery a 100% fix tho? It might return back

It's pretty mild rn, I actually have a habit of overthinking about the future when it probably will get bad. I don't think surgery offers a 100% fix. Apparently, there's a chance of it returning back in a few years. But I'll explore that for sure.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
