5'10 ain't even short. I'm 5'10 and I'm taller than the vast majority of women.

I don't know where to look to find girls like me. I guess the obvious answer is look at places I go but it's not that simple I feel.

I am like this as well! I have a few very close knit friends and when I go out with them we usually just get food or drinks and then go chill at a park or go watch a movie at the theater. I can't find any girls with a similar personality to me and it's disturbing. I would like a girlfriend, but it's not something I get upset over. I am happy single but damn a girlfriend would be nice!

You're welcome! I hope it helps you in the future and I'm sorry it didn't work out that particular time. Try reading Cracked articles too. There are some really interesting random articles that are fun to talk about.

It depends on the girl. Just because it's the top post doesn't mean it's the best question to ask that particular girl. Sift through the /r/askreddit and see what looks like a good question or not. I didn't mean to literally take the top 3 posts and ask those questions in that order. Find an interesting question, then bring it up and go from there.

She could be the most hardcore Redditor and she won't realize it. The questions on AskReddit are just normal questions anybody might ask. They're not specific to Reddit.

Forgive me for not reading your wall of text, it's late and I don't feel like it; I'll reply to your title. A while ago on Reddit I read an awesome piece of advice. If you're putting a girl on a pedestal, remember she's just another human being. Imagine her taking a "big steamy shit" as the Redditor so nicely put it.

Awesome but how do you follow that up? :/

I'm not looking to get laid directly but indirectly through actually getting a girlfriend worth having and sex would be a byproduct of that relationship so-to-speak. Thanks for the information though. I guess guys that do that are only looking for a ONS, correct?

I do too, but I'm not interested in any of the girls I know, and they most likely aren't interested in me, so I had to go online. I can't go to bars yet and frankly I don't usually like the girls I've found in the bars I was able to get into. My point is, online works for people, but not for me. I need to learn how to send interesting messages because I'm never getting any replies. Any tips?

I'm one step behind you. How the fuck do I get a girl interested in me online? I can't interact with people for shit via a screen and keyboard. I have an online profile, I think it looks nice, and I send girls messages and I NEVER get a fucking reply. It's either my profile or the content of the messages and it's pissing me off cause I know I'd make some girl a good BF but I can't even get a damn conversation going damnit

Clarification for the numbers game -- do you just go up to a random chick smile and confidently ask for their number, presumably get it, and then walk away or something?

Yes exactly! You want to have standards, but not unrealistically tight ones, and not nonexistent. My mother settled, she could have had a great marriage to a guy when she was 18 (he was financially secure at the time which is amazing for that age) but she decided she had too much ahead of her and didn't want to settle down right away. Then she couldn't find another guy until she was in her late twenties and she got married at 31 to him because she figured she wouldn't find anybody else. Now they…

My aunt had an abundance mindset, as described by sormenkynsi. She always found a fault in somebody and figured she would eventually find somebody she was 100% similar too, even if they were 99%, it wasn't enough. That mindset can be dangerous in the long run. You'll always figure that somebody better will come along. Now, at 55, she regrets this every day. She's very lonely. Don't be a settler, but don't be too high of a reacher.
