I was a feminist for many years so I know what the phrase toxic masculinity is meant to portray, but the behaviors in question aren’t true masculinity at all. It’s really not that deep - I have tons of “feminist” music. All the girl power pop, punk groups, riot grrrl, Courtney Love you name it. This was specifically a post so I could branch out to other female artists that aren’t in that niche. If anything, I’m looking here for music LESS political because I don’t need every song on my Spotify sung by a woman to be lyrics about the patriarchy.

My hobby is the circus 😂 I do hula hoop tricks, juggling, and stilt walking mostly. And I walk through cemeteries a lot (I’m extremely goth so it’s not shocking when you see me lmao). I just find looking at old headstones and imagining people’s stories so interesting. I’ll bring flowers for people that never get them and have a little picnic by myself next to the oldest ones. It’s just weirdly comforting for me!

My thing is, he should’ve told her beforehand instead of springing that on her while on top of her. I don’t care if he feels ashamed about it or not, I think that’s an asshole move and has no consideration for your partners feelings. That’s such good advice, to only correct in private. A good woman should only support her man and never bring him down in front of others!
