Agreed. I was always a commitment-focused guy who felt I never had any options aside from the girls basically wearing neon signs and hired planes to fly above me saying "DATE ME". Got engaged at 23, split at 27, all to the tune of the Talking Heads classic "Once in a Lifetime". 30 now and amazed at the fact that I was able to hear the silent screaming in my entire body telling me "this is not what I actually want anymore" several years back.

One is flesh; the other is waste product. Equating the two is...well, retarded.

Classic redirection. You're great at logical fallacy, but low on rhetorical ability. D- see me after class.

It's much later on, and still no detail. Good work on replacing any reason with a pithy insult. A++++ WOULD TROLL AGAIN

This is a terrible idea. It will not be well received, and it reeks of desperation...it screams "copycat". I'd suggest doing an all-male revue of the original Vagina Monologues instead, with no explanation or manifesto as to why it's being done. Let folks' brains move on their own rather than trying to beat them about the face.

I have always been a relationship kind of guy. I fall into them, with the exception of my ex-fiance, which I spent years engineering. Can't really give advice on that. That said, seddit's helped turn me from a relationship oriented person to a man who has to fight the urge to constantly bring other women home in front of my LTR. Thankfully, she's bi & open to play with other ladies.

The "argument" involved going to bed and telling her to sleep on the couch. 5 minutes and 10 instances of doors being slammed later, I was in dreamland. Edit: This gets easier & easier. I remember not long ago cowtowing to any demand, argument, emotional blowup, or other disagreement. Now, I just realize I don't have any desire to play the game. As I told her this morning, if you're looking for a puppy dog or someone who explains himself at every moment, start looking elsewhere. Used to think it…

While they went to a different college, I'm well aware of this fact. That said, the impulses of the womenfolks around these parts make for a great nightlife, college or not.

You're quick to point fingers at some great specter of "society". As evolved beings, and members of a "society" that is terribly diverse, it's silly to think that someone with great power said "this is how everyone should think about men and women". Occam's razor being what it is, these admittedly amorphous definitions came from physiological reasons, and are present in such profound ways that they naturally evolved into these definitions. Don't like 'em? That's fine; hell, it's encouraged. That…

Big ups to Mystery, but he's been in hiding. Too much snake oil these days. Nothing like naturals, party people, hipsters, and beautiful men and women to make pickup like breathing air. This shit ain't secret...join seddit atl!

Such horse shit. Breakdancing is badass. It displays immense strength, body control, agility, and creativity. If you truly enjoy to breakdance, it gets panties wet like nothing else. Plus, most breakdancers are "bad boys".

you missed one hell of a night last night. Went out to East Side Lounge where my girl belly danced for our mutual friend's awesome disco-pop act. The place was packed, the dance floor was bumping, and everywhere I went folks recognized me. Met up with the Sorry Darlin babes, with whom I didn't have to DHV - it came naturally due to my presence in the ATL music community, and my radio show. Social proof like a muff ucker. Couldn't walk 5 feet w/out someone buying a drink for us, and potentially h…

Now that I think about it, I think it's the types of women Mystery likes to pick up, and the cultural mores of those women. He wouldn't be caught dead at a punk rock bar, or a hipster joint, or a house party. The point of game is to adapt to your surroundings, and command the room no matter where you are.
/r/seduction10/07/10 12:22 AM

You're absolutely right. We got blown out by some chicks at the bar while my girl was buying us some drinks, and the attitude was "meh! fuck it we're having a blast" and we continued to have a blast.

You can guess, but you'd guess wrong. I've danced and kiss closed more times than standing at the bar. The point is to be the center of attention without being needy; the guy who has a rip roaring good time. There's a reason the mating game is considered a "dance". Sex Drugs & Rock and Roll :: Wine Women & Song. I've never understood the hate against the dance floor, other than a rationalized defense against one's lack of rhythm, and the fear of not coming across as suave. Game takes many forms.…

It was a blast. Anyone who says that the dance floor is a fool's errand is too afraid to dance, Mystery included.

Would you consider excessive femininity a negative trait? I wouldn't; for the same reasons it's silly to consider excessive masculinity a negative trait. May not be your cup of tea, but it in and of itself isn't inherently negative.

Personality is largely a choice. There's tendencies deep down for everyone, often supported by a conscious choice (whether one likes it or not) to support those tendencies. It's a nature vs. nurture argument, and personality stems largely from both aspects. Not all traits are innate; not all traits are easily changed, and some likely won't be. Claiming that "this is just how one is" ignores and insults the vast numbers of people who have shifted aspects of themselves. It can take a lot of work, …

The authors and commenters on the site quite often discuss their beliefs in terms of "feminism". While it may not codify itself as a feminist site, feminism is a primary topic of discussion, and therefore it's a valid example of consideration when discussing the varied views of adherents to a term.

"Male Privilege is not getting an offer for "a ride" from some creepy people when you are 13, and then having to get driven to school every day until you can drive because of a fear of that happening again." My little sister is 4 years younger than I, and my little brother is 6 years younger. When I was 9, my family and I were about to leave a restaurant. I left first, immediately followed by my brother. We walked outside, and I stopped in the door to see where the rest of the folks were. As I t…

this is one definition. The problem in defining a diverse movement is that there are many banners flown within. For reference, check out "I Blame The Patriarchy", vs. "Hooking Up Smart", vs. "Jezebel". All three of these sites profess feminism from a wide variety of different definitions.
