I'm about halfway through the post and yet, I'm on the opinion that this is the best article that you've written. You would have to have written some really nasty shit in the second half in order for me to retract that statement.

I can't say anything about "The Natural", but I love Max's youtube content. He seems like a great guy, has a more balanced approach to pickup (it's more in the general direction of life mastery). Other than that - no idea.

Trying to define DHV is DLV. Don't go there. The only DHV is unapologetically doing whatver the fuck you feel like doing.

Apart from xEnsox's comment, I'd suggest that you stop putting labels to things. Stop putting the labels "the one", "romance", "love" and so on and start experiencing and living live. There is no need for those labels, no need to make wedding plans after meeting a girl, no need to live in the future or past. Try to be in the present moment overall, just spend your time with people actually being there and this should help you with not getting too attached to your imaginary future world.

I agree with the rest of the people here - fucking awesome, mate. Good job, keep it up and thank you for posting this here, you gave something to at least one person, most probably more.

You're on the right track mate, just make sure to grow into an assertive person and not an aggressive (or basically an asshole) one. P.S. Emotions are good, there's no shame in emotions.

That's awesome advice. Also, look into "false vocal folds", especially some youtube videos, there are some really nice exercises to open up your throat.

It's not that your brain works faster than your mouth can keep up with, it's that you let your thoughts run rampant in your brain. Try meditation. :)

Wait, what? That's... like... 36-hour long days you're having there. Joking aside, how do you manage to fit all of that in and not burn out? Is it all "I have to do this and that" or is it a never ending stream of internal motivation?

Yes, fear can be healthy sometimes, when it keeps us from starting a fight with a bear, or jumping out of a plane with nothing but our socks on... That would be pretty badass though, especially done in that exact sequence.

What if a girl who's interested in you finds out that you eat meat, doesn't like that and asks you to stop eating meat? And what if the same happens with going to the gym? Or sex? Or breathing? Despite the current conersation, I believe you're a grown man, so act like it. You don't need to do anything, tell her anything or justify yourself if you don't want to. That's the main point, don't do anything you don't want to. P.S. Now if she asks you to stop smoking when you're with her, that would be…

Fair enough, mate. Fuck those examples. It's a bit more complex than what I make it out to be, it's not always "I'm in A and I fear B". If one person gets the essence of it and benefits from my 2 cents however, I'm content. :)

Thread carefully. You don't game your friends exes without asking first. And I mean really asking your mate if he's ok with that.

Great article, I agree with almost every word. Just a word of caution - I get what you meant, but not everyone will. Some people will take this as an invitation to become asocial and stay there. Others will try to get to the state that you're describing, but will instead create a shell around themselves and will actually try to protect the ego, instead of letting go. It's all a matter of developing self-awareness guys, so please do that. :)

OP, I don't know if this sounds discouraging to you, but it's actually some really useful advice. If you don't understand it yet, you should read around. P.S. This is not /r/relationships.

This is a version of a popular advice that I've read/heard (also I think from Olivia Fox Cabane) - try to really see the color of a person's eyes, with all it's nuances and all the wild shit that goes on in the iris (have you looked closely into an eye, it's fucking marvelous).
/r/seduction18/02/15 06:52 AM

It's not that far down. For the obvious and stated reasons you shouldn't look at your feet when breaking eye contact or in any scenario different from checking if your shoe is untied. That's what "looking down means", not looking at a point below the person's eyes, which is almost every other part of the person.

Try reading "The virtue of selfishness" by Ayn Rand and Nathaniel Branden. Egoism does not equal being an inconsiderate asshole, it simply means that you put your own needs first... Like oxygen masks in an airplane mate, you need to take care of yourself and that's not bad as long as it's not hurting others.

People have given quite some good examples for that kind of behaviour. However, that is not going to be enough for you or anyone else, that wants to stop acting that way. There isn't a list of things that you should and shouldn't do, the examples that people gave you are just that. You should take those examples and analyze them. Why is that approval/validation-seeking behaviour, why do people do that? Your next step is to become self-aware enough to notice those aspects of your own behaviour an…

Accept what happened. Really accept what happened. Forgive her for what happened. Realize that even though you still have feelings for her it's not good for you (maybe also her) to get back together. Realize that it's all fine. Move on with your life. (optional, but highly recommended) Learn how to be complete and happy by yourself and not depend on any outside factors to determine how you feel. Also, no contact for a while helps the process. I know it seems stupid and unnecessary, but it helps …

I watched a Ted talk on how to learn any skill in 20 hours... or was it days, I cannot remember. The first step was to read enough to be able to self-correct. You won't be able to put it all in action at once, the same way you won't learn to play all guitar chords or learn different guitar skills, if you better like the parallel. However, if you tackle those things one by one and know enough to be able to successfully self-correct, you should be able to learn those stuff in the long run. Just tr…

Yeah and honestly, it's better for guys (or at least me) that way too. Foreplay, being lost in the moment, being passionate, this not only makes the whole experience better but it also defeats anxiety. I guess my worries are mostly foolish and unnecessary and I should just aim at adopting the right mindset. Thanks mate. :)

I agree completely. As I said a couple of comments up: I know that if I never do anything I'll stay there, I'm simply a bit too concerned about other people's validation, I suppose. And I should change that! Also, I agree that even if I'm not a beast in bed from the beginning (girl one), most girls would be fine with getting an orgasm from oral. And fine is good for starters, right? Thanks for the book recommendations, I'll read the Sex God Method soon and I'll look into the other one.

You're absolutely right, it's a vicious circle, being bad in bed, getting anxiety, being bad in bed... I've experienced the more positive vicious circle at being awesome in bed though, but it's much harder to stay in. And yes, I know that if I never do anything I'll stay there, I'm simply a bit too concerned about other people's validation, I suppose. And I should change that! What do you need to do?! You need to relax, have fun, and communicate with your partner. Don't be afraid to ask her what you she likes, it's a much better alternative than guessing while fucking everything up. Thanks, this is awesome advice. I've followed it in the past and letting go and having fun resulted in the best sexual experiences that I had with my partner. I guess that adopting the same mindset with different partners (and overall in life) would be the best thing to do, it's just a bit…

Yeah, actually I've been developing the ability to have dry/multiple orgasms, but even this doesn't give me the necessary confidence when it comes to sex. I guess that the biggest boost would be actually having sex with a woman, wouldn't it?

When I was in high school a girl (9/10) took my hand at a club (we were both there for the same birthday party) and pulled me to the restrooms. She went in, didn't come out for a long time and I said to myself "Hey, I don't really need to take a leak" and went back to the party. No regrets though.

Yes, something like Simple 30 for example. Having to go to girls with ice-cream smeared all over their face, weird openers, as you mentioned, etc. That would be a really nice for dealing with AA and overall a fresh and interesting approach to approaching.

I'm saying that because there's a ton of good advice on reddit that is unrelated to manipulations, routines, lines and whatnot. But that's just me. I get the best out of Facebook - connecting with people. Old classmates, friends of friends that I met on a party, basically people who I'd have a hard time tracking if not for social media. Other than that, I visit FB once a day and if I don't see any notifications or don't intend to talk to someone I immediately close it. No browsing, no flash games and whatnot. For 5 years I've uploaded 2 pictures of myself, 4 xkcd comic strips and I think a couple of silly images. So I wouldn't say I've opte…

Good FR mate. I'm interested in two things though. she tries to kiss me and I deny her How do you deny a kiss without it being awkward? Sure, you shouldn't give a fuck and you shouldn't be an emotional baby-sitter for people, but how do you do that gently, without making a girl feel bad? We relax for a little and she slowly would cuddle up to me and I would nudge with her, then I would move away while reaching for my drink. Did you do that in purpose and if so why?

Hey mate, I'd just like to mention something. The no contact advice is solid for most people, but it should serve the purpose of protecting yourself, being in the situation you're in, not from a place of negativity or any ill feelings towards your ex. I get why people always give that advice, but for the really self-aware person, I'd recommend not taking that route. If you're able to manage your emotions nicely, it would be more useful to simply stop perceiving her as your "ex", but simply a per…

I think that at the core of all the "You shouldn't care about what others think"-type advice that's being tossed around very often is exactly the self-love that you mentioned. Sure, it's not very obvious, but let's be honest, most people can't just read "Hey mate, love yourself and others" and transform their lives. Most people aren't even ready for that advice and wouldn't appreciate it at all. It's a long journey, but I think that the "don't seek external validation'-type of advice that I ment…

Yes, and also there are women who don't give some guys a chance, because they only date tall people, muscular people, fat people, nerdy people, midgets. And that's just fine, you can't get them all. It's just personal preference (apart from racism, racism sucks balls).

Why do most people here suggest avoiding opening with a line like "(I thought) You're pretty, so I thought I'd come and meet you." or something similar (for example some people suggest complimenting something she's wearing, her hair, etc., but not an overall "you're pretty" compliment)? A lot of pick up artists (e.g. the guys from Simple Pickup, Vadim) often open with lines like that. To me it seems honest and genuine, so why avoid it?

Listen mate, me and my girlfriend of six years broke up a month go. It wasn't the outcome that I wanted, but I accepted it and I let it go. But that's simply dealing with the fact, I, as you are, am still not completely over it, I'm a bit reserved, I have mood swings and all, but that's just how we react to the situation. This thread is a goldmine. People feel that they need to be superior to others, be it by parading with their intelligence, dominating with their status or else. That's just being a pretentious ass.
