Drake has watched multiple of her matches from 2011 to 2018, and released 3+ songs referencing her, got into a fight with Common over her, even though they only casually dated 7+ years ago. But calls someone else out for being a groupie? 🥴 Drakes only way of staying relevant is dissing strong, famous women. Between this and his nonsense saying Megan Thee Stallion lied about getting shot, he really is outing himself as this fake ‘nice guy’ who uses faux feminism for clout in his music videos, whi…

Incredibly disappointed but not surprised by Rihanna, who also stood by her partner after shooting at his friend over a disagreement. Her girl-boss, female empowerment values are completely invalidated by the fact she consistently excuses and defends violent and abusive men. Equally disgusting that she would celebrate another woman’s abuser as a DA victim herself.

I think you already know the answer but: 🚩 A HVM will not be creeping on his ex’s social media pages while in a happy relationship 🚩 If his version of the last exchange is accurate, why would he need to silently stalk her page? 🚩 If he is making you feel loved, valued and secure, ask yourself why would you have such a strong reaction on seeing an ex’s name? 🚩 His excuse is “yes I’ve been stalking her, but I didn’t contact her so it doesn’t count”, it’s a deflection of what he’s actually done, he…

“The Ultimatum” is a catalogue of toxic relationships. It’s clear multiple painful and expensive divorces will follow the show. The contestants need therapy to work through their individual issues, not to put them on blast for the world to see. It’s a reminder not to see destructive relationships through rose-tinted glasses. They are physically, mentally, and financially harmful. This is why it’s essential for women to vet, have firm boundaries, and maintain a strong sense of self-preservation.

LVM use kink as a tactic to vet insecure and vulnerable women. They push your boundaries in the bedroom under the guise of “kink”, to assess how they can push your boundaries in life. An abusive man in the bedroom is showing you what he really thinks of you and women. Kink is an unhealthy coping mechanism for trauma, abuse, and porn sickness, for those who aren’t ready or willing to invest in real therapy. Let them raise their big red kinky flags and run while you still can! 🚩☠️

Clearly just doing this to make himself look better, and not prioritising what she wants. It’s so performative and disingenuous. 🤮 Women need to stop accepting bare minimum and self-serving behaviour by men so that we can all benefit from higher standards for ourselves and those around us.

If a man is so ‘broke’ he can’t afford to spend £10 on a bunch of flowers, and instead steals them from people’s gardens I would consider that a 🚩 100% agree though that HVM consistently put in the time and effort, to make their partner happy, however HVW also deserve more than bare minimum.

The Stockholm Syndrome here is insane. He raped her twice and she is going through mental gymnastics as to whether to stay with him. 😩 Worst still, she will struggle to be able to successfully get a rape conviction against him because lawyers will use the fact she went back to him to undermine her case. This is how serial rapists get away with a lifetime of abuse, by consistently not being held legally and morally responsible for their actions.

Huge red flags. 🚩 They’re using it as a form of escapism, or coping mechanism for deeper issues, in a harmful way 🚩 It’s unhealthy both physically and mentally, someone cannot care about themselves that much if they self-sabotage through drugs 🚩 The people who support drug use often ignore the multitudes of studies which show the negative affect they have on brain chemistry 🚩 Often people try drugs in their youth, if it’s a habit a grown man is continuing then he’s not at the level of maturity t…

What’s your end goal for this company? Are you looking to progress and step into a management position, or looking for them to just leave you alone and carry on in your current position? If you want to progress unfortunately the sad and unfair fact is, that only generally happens if you’re considered ‘likeable’ by the management team who decide on who to promote; often it’s whether you fit into their culture rather than the standard of volume if work you do individually, as primarily managers/su…

I knew someone who brought a guy home on one of their earlier meetings for a home date. While she was cooking, he excused himself for the toilet and cleared out her & her children’s bedrooms for valuables such as jewellery, Ipad, laptop etc then ran out her building before she had a chance to realise. I knew another ex-roommate who brought a guy back after a night out, and he emptied hers and our roommates purse on the way out leaving. Pickmes have no concern for their friends well-being, securi…

Depraved LVM will also seek out sexual content of women they know, often more so than random sex workers who openly advertise their income streams. It’s because they want to hold power/leverage over women they know, whilst ridiculing/slut-shaming them, to ultimately de-humanize them.

Badly written LVM fiction. Also men who seek out relationships with large age gaps are always predatory and can never be HVM.

We need to boycott bad men Don’t give them any time, energy, investment or interaction. Remove all of their access, men thrive on controlling women, and often will try to provoke reactions to feed off women’s emotions and attention. The best thing we can do is not letting them feel the satisfaction of affecting us.

92% of women killed by men, are killed by someone they know. Vet ruthlessly, not just your partners, but your friends, friends of friends, even your family. Go LC/NC with anyone who makes you feel uncomfortable or unsafe. Because your life does depend on it.

I hate when people act like we should be grateful for uninvited compliments from LVM. Nobody asked their opinion, so why do they need to pass judgment on women? Compliments often become a manipulation tactic. Like you said- watch how their tone switches when you say you already know you’re beautiful, smart, amazing etc like they just said. LVM give what they perceive to be validation, to receive validation.

Multiple actors have flagged they were uncomfortable with Sam Levinson’s original writing of the scene, being too geared toward nudity, pornography & paedophilia. The interviews did say the writer changed the scenes for the actors, but it just shows the writers intentions. I think it’s an interesting watch cinematically, but like many/most TV productions, I don’t agree with the internalised misogyny that is so prevalent throughout it. ☕️ Story Time ☕️ I found out that my BF had gone back to his ex, but was still trying to string me along since he was borrowing my old laptop and a spare phone for work. He didn’t realise we had mutual friends, she showed me all the proof. I didn’t care about getting back with him, I just wanted my stuff back. Men try to attract women they consider ‘out of their league’ for ego and clout. When they realise you will never boost their ego, they try to tear you down. It’s the same ideation as men who want someone super beautiful, but dOeSn’T kNoW iT, i.e. is insecure and easy to manipulate. They want to boast about their intelligent, beautiful girlfriend while doing nothing to earn or keep her. Men are terrified of women who know their own power. Used to be an Employment Advisor (based in U.K.), and there’s loads of jobs available but many people think they’re too good to work for them. All my job-seeking clients who were women had issues with childcare or disabilities preventing them from working, but with many/most men it was simply they didn’t care to work what they considered a harder or less prestigious job. Men literally letting their kids suffer because they couldn’t stoop so low to work a courier job or in retail.

Kanye has a history of trying to undermine, control, manipulate, & abuse women. Then he cries ‘racism, sexism, ableism’ when people say things like “dude’s off his meds” (see his erratic Instagram post history). He’s the ultimate narcissistic, misogynist who thinks because he was influential in early 2000s rap, he can say what he wants with no filter. Fame doesn’t give him a free pass for his incel-type behaviour. I’m glad he’s getting crucified in the press online.

I live in an area where guns, knives and pepper spray are illegal, but carry a large bottle opener in my purse (Google bar blade), I once used that to hit a mugger on the head to get away (sharp tap to the head disorients them since it’s steel), so I keep that with me now. ASAP Rocky was convicted of aggravated assault and jailed only a couple of years ago. I wish Rihanna would stop settling for these violent men, and now she’s subjecting her child to a lifetime of having a violent father, like that’s going to be a good influence in their lives. Also men measure the supposed lack of care about their mental health by the demographics of suicide rates, which are 62% Male, 38% Female, however they like to casually forget that the non-fatal suicide attempts it is 61% Female, 39% Male, and similarly female-led rates for self harm. Anxiety flare-ups are your body’s way of warning you about something. The core issue is not the anxiety, think of that as the symptom, when really you need to find a real cure for the cause. From your other replies, it sounds like the core issue is your self esteem. Honestly your self esteem needs to be sky high to date, especially using something as low-reward as OLD. You have to be okay with the fact that being apart may be what’s best for you both. There’s no point clinging on to a relationship where you are both going to be unhappy- it’s not healthy for you or your kids. The phone is a non-issue and you’re beating yourself up too much about this. The serious issues are the lying, gaslighting, lack of trust, communication problems, and sexual coercion. Trust your instincts on this one- it’s not so much about being involved in the step kids lives, its the context and the way he discusses this situation which is giving you red flags. Kids also need space and adjustment to get over families breaking up, there is a lot of codependency here on both sides. The way he describes his ex’s new partner as well gives bad vibes. No I don’t think that would make a difference. We’ve all been asked out via Instagram or social media DMs but generally they’re very low effort from LVM. It’s like they’re combing through social media because they’re not willing to put effort in RL. Like those men who are acquaintances and then reach out to you randomly for no reason- they’re looking to see if anyone will take the bait for a hookups, nudes etc. It’s a very desperate way that LVM seek out women, irrespective of age.

I would say you’re setting yourself up for disappointment here as it’s not a LFL equivalent. It’s quite a stretch to think an add will turn into being DM’d and asked out. Also men who slide into DMs with relatively little to go on are looking for quantity of women replying not quality. A HVM would have no trouble meeting women in real life so resorting to DMs would be a bit pointless at best, or desperate at worst. You have no legal/financial protection if you move in with a man pre-marriage, and you’re effectively giving him financial power over you as you’re moving into his place to escape your parents. FDS doesn’t encourage women to move in with boyfriends ever- that’s the FDS view. By all means move into your own place to get the independence you want. You don’t ever stop vetting. A man can always turn LV along the way once they feel they’ve got everything they can from a woman (yet still stay with her). The minute his effort becomes inconsistent is when you leave. No doubt there were so many red flags along the way that these women ignored, before it gets to marriage and kids with a man who obviously doesn’t want to be there.

Never have dates at a man’s house before you’re in a committed relationship. It’s usually the point where he will stop putting effort in if he just intends to use you for dating/sex (which is a large majority of men). Once you’ve been over once, they will keep making excuses to have home dates until they can get you into bed. Every time we agree to home dates (outside of a relationship), we devalue ourselves and tell him less effort is required to keep us. Also there’s the safety aspect of it no…

That’s why I don’t attribute opening doors as to a green flag about their character. Also we should never rely on men financially or otherwise to build our empires. We know the majority of men are LVM so it’s a matter of time before they show those low value behaviours. Relying on them traps us into accepting their behaviours if it will affect our finances and future. Totally agree with this. And thing that it extends to actual male family and relatives too- if they show they are negative influence in your life, they don’t get a free pass because you’re related. It’s best to go low contact or NC to preserve your inner peace. Nobody deserves to be in your life if they’re hurting you.

I don’t think casual relationships bring anything of value to FDS women. Yes there is less chance of it rape, pregnancy, and (some) STDs with a woman, but there’s still much potential for other negative consequences. In casual/sex-only relationships, there’s often lesser consideration for the partner because you don’t consider them of value enough to pursue a relationship with. I think FDS women should be worth more than that. To me lowering our standards to casual sex reflects on our self-worth…

This is so vile, and shows what inner creeps many men are. It’s completely naive to think that doing this kind of thing doesn’t influence their ‘real’ non-fantasy life, and doesn’t blur boundaries at all. Men will do this to leverage some sort of predatory power over women in their minds, while they act like Mr Nice Guy in to women’s faces. Sometimes you have to be more hyper aware with male friends than men you date, because they already have us in false senses of security.

Yes 1000% this. And it’s not just men grooming women, or being behind patriarchal narratives. It’s women grooming women to be PickMes which is equally dangerous, sometimes more so because women aren’t on alert to be wary of other women in the same way they are as men.

LVM are not worth our time, energy and money. We definitely should not be spending our hard earned money on PIs, we should only be spending it on ourselves. Our intuition should be honed enough that once we experience the first red flag we leave, no need to stay to second guess, or even wait for proof, because more red flags will follow. We need to level up to avoid these men, not pay someone because we can’t work it out ourselves.

There are no yellow and orange flags, only red flags. We want to believe that something could be less serious and just be us interpreting things wrong, because that’s how society has conditioned us to be PickMes for male benefit. Your intuition is telling you there’s danger here. Don’t second guess yourself, when you’re instinctively trying to protect yourself. Dwayne Johnson’s PR vibe is that he’s a wholesome family man but he’s a total LVM. He got with his current spouse Lauren while he was still with his ex wife Dany. Lauren by the way is 12 years younger than him, and they got together when she was 23 and he was 35 so she was still quite naive. The cheating scandal negatively impacted her career as an up and coming singer. Eventually he divorced Dany and him and Lauren got together officially. He then made her wait 12 years and have 2 of his kids b…

There’s two elements to this- replacing the physical touch and chemical reaction. Physical Touch - Firstly invest in things like a heated throw, weighted blanket, and surround yourself in comfortable soft fabrics that are pleasant to touch - I grab my pet for cuddle when I’m missing physical touch - Narrow down your cravings for touch to specific triggers. For example, is it late at night? Get some Teddy bedding. Is it through aches and pains, try massage and yoga - Sometimes non-sexual self mas…

Exactly this, if he’s showing you any less than consistent effort leading up to the date it’s not worth meeting. Some PickMe friends will also try to give you false positivity despite the obvious lack of interest. Unfortunately in this day and age it’s difficult if not impossible to not have some Pick-me influence in our friendship/peer groups, since being a Pick-me is the default for a lot of women because of how society has socialised us. I’d start by keeping this in mind, and be realistic in the best you might do is reduce Pick-me influence rather than eliminate it. I try to recognise my friends Pick-me behaviour and distance myself from situations where I know this behaviour will increase, for example…

I could barely watch past the point she proudly said “there are some careers where women get paid more… like OnlyFans” 🤮 as if the sexual exploitation, objectification and degradation of women for men’s pleasure is a good career choice… Every element of this woman’s life from her opinions, personality, and looks has been designed to please men, and I pity her. Pick-mes perpetuate dangerous narratives for men and women, by reducing other women’s worth and encouraging men to treat us worse

Funny how Matthew Hussey preaches all these harmful ideas and even has videos on how to spot cheaters, yet cheated on Camilla Cabello, two timing her with another woman. He also advocates age gap relationships and was 10 years older than her. A lot of this “dating coach” rhetoric gaslights women into pickme behaviour performing for men, and ultimately only benefits men. This is a tactic I’ve used previously, but only so far with male friends. I mention the Pornhub scandal, and how awful it is that women and underage/vulnerable people have been trafficked into sex. I lull them into a sense of false security by mentioning that I’ve watched porn in the past (Pickme days unfortunately) and I’d feel disgusted to have enjoyed watched something where someone is being abused. We love to see it. Well done Savannah for articulating FDS principles so well. FDS is literally about becoming a more conscious and confident woman, having higher standards and better boundaries for ourselves, and disavowing people, groups and practices that harm women. Glad the Guardian sees the truth, while places like Vice disingenuously twists the narrative to fit their own agenda.

My friend runs a dog rescue, and honestly has told me the majority of dogs are abused by men/boys. Many of the dogs have behavioural problems and issues around male figures after, and a lot of the trust/rehabilitation revolves around overcoming their fear of men. The level of cruelty towards an innocent animal baffles me. Then it’s the dogs that get put down when really the abusive owners should have been held accountable. It’s so sad to see

Yeah that’s right, in the U.K. we have Council Tax which all properties have, which you don’t pay if you’re a student or unemployed. If one person is exempt in a 2 person house it’s a 25% discount, or if 3+ live there and only 1 exempt you pay the full amount. The tax is rated by the property value, so if you live in a super fancy house/neighbourhood it’ll be high. In some areas the most expensive properties are upto £4.5k a year!

Any man who has used prostitutes has extremely unhealthy views of women and sex. It means they support sex trafficking (as guaranteed the women are not there by choice), means they will readily objectify women (and put a price on their investment in them), and will likely use them again (as they didn’t see anything wrong in their actions the first time). A HVM would never use prostitutes past or present.

The phrase “empowerment” is often used as a marketing tool for things that are actually patriarchal entrapment. When some libfem ideologies promote sex work or sexual liberation as empowering, it is actually just for the benefit of men. Yes! 1000% this! Even in TV and films. I always used to find myself rooting for the female protagonist to “find someone” by the end, as if this was the validation she needed to continue life happily after the story ended. It’s because we’ve been conditioned this way, to put romantic love on a pedestal. There needs to be more literature, TV and film where the woman prioritises herself, and doesn’t need to pick someone to be happy. Art reflects life, and influences why being a fulfilled, single, i…

Yes, and there’s a lot of age difference relationships, and scenarios where the woman is portrayed as the weaker one who is rescued by the man. I love literature, but it has a part to play in setting up these unrealistic or unhealthy relationship ideas

My personal experience has been varied. I wasn’t sexually attracted anymore as there were deeper emotional problems in our relationship that I was not ready to admit to yet, and this was subconsciously affecting my desire with him. I would not cut my own hair, unless it was slightly trimming the ends. I definitely would not let someone inexperienced colour or heat style my hair, male or female. The most I have let another non-qualified person do is braid my hair. It’s honestly not worth the risk of allowing anyone to do lasting damage to your hair. I think a better female beauty equivalent is doing nails. I will happily get my partner to do the nails on the hand that I’m not so good with.

Stereotype that women are kinder and less selfish is true, claim neuroscientists ”We know that girls and women are socially expected to behave in different ways from boys and men. Yeah, definitely a possibility, although I would find it extremely difficult to believe that an enraged female therapist would rape her husbands mistress. The idea of being with a man who gets off on killing animals is revolting 🤮 Yes, we need meat to eat like other carnivores, but to take pleasure in killing a defenceless animal is sickening. I dated 2 men with anti-social personality disorder, the syndrome that most psychopaths present, and killing/hurting animals is one of the key diagnosed behaviours. A man who can dissociate from guilt in killing animals, is preparing himself to dehumanise people so he can mentally/physically harm them also.

What kind of next level validation does she need? It’s so cringe for her and the men. Why didn’t she take out her female friends (‘that are waiting on the party bus’) and just invite some guys along. Using the other genders attractiveness as validation signalling is a LVM’s job. The anonymity of OLD and disposable nature of matches, make men feel like they can act without repercussion on OLD, and treat women as sub-human and less deserving of respect. 10/10 of these men would not dare make these kinds of comments in real life, because they are afraid of the (justified) reactions. Classic Madonna-Whore complex. LVM want the Madonna/Virgin wife to project that they are good, respectful men, to conceal their base desires fantasising about the Porn Star type, which speaks to their lower character. In fact the women they cheat with are not ‘whores’ at all, but cheating LVM will reaffirm this narrative to keep themselves distanced emotionally/physically. Or they will try to force their partner to take on these roles that sit at odds with their character, because the LVM can’t …

Good question! I would be vetting extra hard if that is the case. These are the kinds of things I would be investigating: - How does he speak about his ex? Why didn’t he leave the relationship earlier? - What’s making him want to progress things so quickly now? Does the timeline feel accelerated to you? - What has inspired him to change? Ideally him acknowledging responsibility for past behaviour, not just that he feels different now - What’s the time proximity between the 2 relationships? Did h…

You’re completely right. The over-inflated ego feeds into the inadequacy mindset. Since these men are narcissistic, they transfer the inadequacy to their partner/relationship, as they can’t accept it within themselves. As they only use women for validation/benefits, they convince themselves they need another woman for that validation/dopamine fix. Deeply insecure and highly egotistical is the LVM paradox Thank you for a great post illustrating this by the way!

Thank you! Please know it was never you, they were purposefully validating themselves from your value, achievements, success and benefits, with minimal amount of effort from themselves. This subverts their mindset for the next person, in fact it’s almost a guarantee a LVM instigates a serious relationship afterwards, to self-justify their actions in the last one. This is all based on a fallacy though, and eventually they fall back into their same destructive pattern. They will never be happy, bu…

LVM think someone is better than no one, because they can’t face their own inadequacy. They think their partner is not good enough for them as they cannot get the partner they think they deserve/want. They objectify women in terms of what benefit or value they can add to their life, considering the validation from their partner choice as an indicator of their masculinity. When they ‘stagnate’ with a partner, it creates the scarcity mindset with the next person, which is why they invest more and …

It’s basically a legal document/contract that confirms how household costs will be met, ownership of property and the outcomes for shared money/assets if the relationship breaks down. If you get married it’s superseded by matrimonial law. It theoretically sets out fair agreements/expectations by both parties, so that they can’t be reneged later due to relationship pressures or breakdown.

Trainee solicitor here, buying a house with your partner outside of marriage is so risky, with barely any legal protection. So many couples I know do this, and are offended when I suggest drawing up a cohabitation agreement. Yet if/when the relationship breaks down this turns into a hugely messy situation, considering 90% of relationships started before the age of 30 end. Frame it this way, these people wouldn’t buy the house themselves without the protection of a solicitor, conveyancer, surveyo…

This how sexual harassment progresses from the workplace into networking. These type of predators would get caught by HR and employment laws in companies, so move to a platform where they will be unregulated. Men gaslight each other into misogyny, because LVM think equality is a threat to their masculinity. Common law protection of assets and privileges if you are in a HV marriage. But a LV marriage is worse than no marriage. Cohabitation can be risky as you literally have the rights as two friends, it can take complex litigation to prove otherwise. For the last 4-5 years I have worked and studied 80hrs a week (work 50hrs, university 30hrs), and I still find time for my friends, family and dating. You can make time for anything you want to, if they are a priority. As a “busy” woman I’m just more selective with who I spend my time on. Anyone who doesn’t make time for you doesn’t consider you a priority. 9/10 someone who is “too busy” is actually wasting time on arbitrary things that they feel are more important that you.

My parents are Pakistani and I’m ashamed of how discriminatory my own heritage is against women. It puts me off dating within my own ethnicity due to so many bad experiences with Desi men, which makes me feel very…

I wish I could upvote this twice. So many people I know have nonchalant attitudes to these huge age gaps of older men hunting for your younger women. It is literally predatory behaviour and a form of emotional grooming. Thank you for putting it so succinctly

The treatment of Ellen Pao affirms to me that a vast majority of Reddit users are the incel type of demographic. So many variations of misogynistic threads, because female power is so threatening to weak men. I’m so glad she walked away to do bigger and better things, like write her book and work on projects that reflect her values. What a horrible thing to go through, she was too good for Reddit.

Totally agree. It’s fine to disagree with what someone stands for, but some of the comments here verge on being vindictive and cruel. It’s not queen behaviour talking about women that way, when we should be supporting other women to level up and be better. Save the roasting for LVM and incels who deserve this kind of rhetoric.

The Whys + Low self esteem, years of experiencing media equating my self worth to my looks by conventional beauty standards + Pushback from others when you are not submissive, making you feel wrong for being assertive or following your intuition + Damaging/bad/unhelpful advice from others who have lower standards for themselves + Complex trauma through mental and physical abuse, internalised through a young age + Poor treatment by multiple partners, distorting my view of healthy relationships + …

I would love to know how much he spends on his strip club and McDonald’s date by himself EDIT: He’s deleted the post now, probably as people were offering advice contrary to his opinion, and he was not getting the 100% validation he was looking

His replies show exactly what kind of LVM he is. Instead of going for a sushi date he’s going to the strip club! And wondered why she suggested sushi instead of McDonalds. Doesn’t understand any safety issues to meeting in a field. It shows how much we need FDS because a lot of neutral dating forums show a high volume of incels reaffirming each other’s behaviour. I don’t even see a question in his post asking for advice, he just writes ‘wtf?’ as if anyone could deign to disagree with him.
