A lot of MGTOW go throw something similar I feel, I know I did. I created my own kind of, “rule of three”, I’ve followed for a little over a year now and it honesty has helped a ton. I’ve even given this advice to several coworkers MGTOW or not and it’s been helpful a couple times. I try to find three things/ hobbies at all times, that interest me. One hobby is for pure enjoyment/ entertainment: video games, music, motorcycle etc. One hobby challenged me physically: Brazilian Juitsu, hiking, exe…

I’ll definitely pick em up and read them. I find the whole phenomenon interesting. And I highly value self sufficiency, Musashi’s Way of Walking Alone is basically my 21 commandments.

Yeah, I just wish I had that advice about a decade ago! I always thought I was doing everything “right” and what I was “supposed to do” to get a good job etc... boy was that a lie/ wrong. It’s been a mantra of mine to coworkers looking to their own future and one of my proudest MGTOW achievements was helping a couple young lads discover MGTOW at my last job, and two of them even took that same advice and went into trades.

I’m guessing those are two book? I’ll have to check them out. I have a group of MGTOW/ good life philosophy books I cycle through at least once a year and I’m always looking to add to the list.

Agreed! I went back to be a teacher ( I know a lot of MGTOW don’t like college or teaching/era and I wouldn’t do it again if I could go back in time, but it’s the only way to teach, and I’m passionate about actual education) but just as I’m about to finish the degree, education has had some really interesting (in a bad way) things happen and crazy woke culture take over. I’ve been doing BJJ on the side and fell in love with it so the long term goal is pretty much: do whatever job necessary, devo…

Agreed, I was curious more so if people from all different industries and areas were experiencing the same thing. Now, I thought that was true and we defiantly are moving towards a disturbing political point on the spectrum, but I wanted to see what others thought also. It’s pretty ridiculous, even being a “good” employee anymore does not matter. Everywhere I’ve worked has some kind of credit card and push for membership. One of my last places, I, was literally too 3 in the company every month, …

Yeah but I would say this is an issue really with society as a whole, you get no pass to be upset as a man, but everyone is expected to just be blindly merry like they are on Zoloft 24/7... maybe because most people are on Zoloft or another antidepressant. I got the same treatment multiple times at any job I’ve had where I interact with guests. If I was thinking about something or memorizing homework, anything besides not just smiling like a lunatic customers would comment similar statements to …

No way man, not crazy at all. It’s kinda pretty normal, won’t say it does not suck sometimes but a lot of MGTOW loose pretty much all their friends anyways. I lost my dnd group of 4 years entirely when I stopped tolerating their bs, and my last few local lifelong friends. I realized they were actually pretty toxic and bought into all the ridiculous bs and the more MGTOW or just myself/ awake I became the more they almost resented it. Even something as simple as disagreeing or speaking my opinion…

Henry Rollins has a phenomenal quote very similar to this. Something along the lines of, “Yes, I guess you could say I am a loner, but I feel more lonely in a crowed room with boring people than I feel on my own.” MGTOW all the way brothers!

She’s gonna need some ice, or icy hot, or ibuprofen depending on how that burn hurt her... or maybe she wouldn’t want any of these things since they were all made by men and are further signs of the obvious patriarchy trying to oppress her. Lol 😂🤡

Yeah it blows my mind. For sure there may be some “abrasive” things here or there on the MGTOW page but no more and I’d bet/ know it’s less then half the other pages on reddit, specifically all the femi-crazy pages, or even not focusing on them there is some wack stuff on reddit with way more members then us that is totally left alone. Back to the main discussion though rarely if ever in fact I’m hard pressed to remember something posted on MGTOW that calls for the death, mutilation, suicide, ba…

Just when I think I’m done being surprised at how society reacts to MGTOW or really any male simply trying to focus on themselves for a bit, I read something that blows my mind. One of the comments jokingly suggests a made up operation to remove all of our testicles... but somehow that very violent and horrific act condemning 130k+ men to maiming and potential death is somehow “lol, upvote, so funny” and is allowed. But no, we are the out of control “bad guys” and need to have our page shut down…

I appreciate the sentiment, I don’t know what the gold does anyways nor do I want to pay for reddit lol. But yes absolutely, it’s unreal. I’m just glad that even if it’s a few there are still a few rational people out there who realize this. Edit: It’s slow at work so I may as well add this. The more I think about it the more unnerving the whole thing is. It’s perfectly despicable. Think about it. The right says, “She’s just a child she doesn’t understand.” And they are correct. “The left says, …

I appreciate it. I’m just a bit defensive because there are so many trolls on here. And yes, I am not necessarily upset at her, as some other posters put on here she is absolutely being used. Just like many of the recent children in all these sjw movements they are being used as hostages and taken advantage of and it’s appalling. I don’t want to insult children and I will not necessarily make fun of her, besides how pissy she looked my gad, but it is completely inappropriate, unprofessional, and…

I would say the same hypothetical how do you know she does? But that is besides the point. She may be incredibly smart, maybe gifted, but that is not the point. That is a straw man argument. The discussion is over the fact other more qualified individuals were ignored in favor of a child. A child that also even if gifted, more than likely like 99.999999% lacks the knowledge and experience of more qualified individuals. And a child that did not offer a solution but merely complains and accused ot…

Agreed, it is deeply troublesome, disappointing, and absurd. It further removes any legitimacy from the discussion. I feel like I’m watching reality literally devolve into a reality tv show. (Which just for the record I loath reality and really don’t do much tv in general)

I cannot stand the media and civil frenzy around this brat. There is something entirely disturbing about the way today’s society acts and rules. People do not understand logic or reason, a well worded argument or discussion, or anything of rational, as most MGTOW men do. Is the environment important? Yes. Is climate change something happening (regardless of man made or not)? Yes. Should we care as a species? Yes, probably. Is it a good cause to try to do things in our control to better our own e…

Everyone here gets an upvote! Lol but yes agreed. Great game and the several, no many redpill moments in game actually really surprised me. I swear to god gaming is one of the last bastions of any normalcy/ sense, which in some ways is almost absurd cause it’s entirely fantasy land.

Even better! It blew me away reading it the first time thinking holy shit this red pill book from like 4000 years ago... this shits happened since the dawn of time. Gilgamesh not only turns her down, his insults/ valid points are incredible and go on for a page and a half or so. He basically/ literally says paraphrasing a bit, “I would give you the world, but I won’t. Tell me what have you ever loved forever? I agree with the 500cc posts. 500 is a great place to start and Honda makes some awesome and affordable models. Besides that man... Does it have two wheels? Does it have a motor? Do you like it? Check all three boxes and welcome to the MGTOW and motorcycle family! 👍

Lots of good suggestions here. One of my personal favorites. The Book of Five Rings, Miyamoto Musashi. His points on the path of self reliance should be meditated on deeply (just like he says) and even though the book is about the martial arts directly it has tons of powerful life/ philosophical value/ content.

Pretty much man. And correct me if I’m wrong I don’t want to be contributing pseudo science but from my understanding, in backed studies, pair bonding is genetically different in men and women. Men can be with 100 partners and still be completely capable of pair bonding 100% with the 101 partner, falling in “love” etc. Women immediately begin loosing the capability after 1 or 2 partners with it quickly becoming next to impossible before they are even out of the single digits of partners.

Happens to everyone that posts on MGTOW, it happened to me, and in the few months since officially joining you see a couple posts like this each week. Still pretty ridiculous. I guess since your a man complaining/ talking/ discussing or anything with other men on a MGTOW board you no longer hold freedom of speech elsewhere. Anyways, welcome to MGTOW and welcome to freedom!

A five second reddit post is not the proper forum for what could easily be an several hour discussion full of deep dialogue with many critical and critically important talking points, or a 10,000 word essay of which I am passionate enough about I could definitely write. And it is difficult to gain any serious traction on a sudden and massive scale in the world we live in so simply put... We strong men must do what we can when we can with those we interact with daily and in our locus of control. …

I appreciate it but that’s besides the point. I know it was oj and could be a resort or something although I highly highly doubt that. It’s still not ok in my book that this whamen took her young kid out very late to a bar and is encouraging them or at least thinking its cool and not intervening in a young female bartender making mock shots for a child and calling them back over for a kiss. You have all us my dude! And you found MGTOW. At least your aware now. It’s a real tough transition and different for everyone and there are still many days I feel how you do but it’s almost like your getting to start a new chapter of your life; except this time YOUR the one writing it. Sure you will still see and sometimes have to deal with plenty of bull shit, but this time your coming in armed with knowledge... add in some discipline, focus, drive, fun, and commitments to yourself and you wil…

RIP my man, and strength to you too. My main one, my cat a almost 10yr Maine coon, gave me a scare last year. Going to be devastating when he goes. Been my companion through 13 moves both big and small, a few rough relationships in my blue pill days, and quite literally one of my only constants throughout the last decade. May your little one be waiting for you across the rainbow bridge in Valhalla until you can see them again.

I almost went a few years ago but it was literally the first day of finals for my undergrad and like 100 miles away. They rarely come out here. I actually live smack dab in the middle of the US near KCMO. Always loved Norse mythology as a kid and they are friggen awesome for music. Even my user name is based off one of the oldest written legends in the world and one of the few the Norse wrote down... The Volsung Saga, a really cool read. Gin is incredibly unique. Don’t try trashy gin though, Segrams is cheep for a reason and turns most people away from gin. It’s very bright, a little floral, each kind/ brand can be really different. All gin is made with botanicals aka flowers and stuff but try to get “botanical” gin. It’s typically gin brewed with something like 18 or 21 unique usually local to the brewery flowers and herbs. Good gin is really one of a kind. If you want to try it try like a simple mix or gin and tonic or for swe…

Dude check out The Hu, new band about to drop first album this year. Blends traditional Mongolian throat singing and instruments with rock/ metal (not super metal yet more rock, but they haven’t released their full album) really cool though if your into different sounding bands though.

If that’s your hobby then amen men! Long as your not lost in red pill rage then all is good. I agree with you man it’s ridiculous once your eyes are open to the reality of society around you. And just like worker bees if the queen lets you in just once, it will be the end of your life, just like all the blue pill white nights. It’s astounding watching people just about kill themselves on even the chance some whamen will sleep with them.

Miyamoto Musashi, “Accept everything just the way it is.” The Book of Five Rings. This has been an important book in my life for almost a decade and my personal “bible” the last couple years as a MGTOW. It’s not admitting defeat or being fatalistic, but the other posters are right. No point in arguing or even getting upset, within reason, it can be frustrating but... this truly is the world we live in and the way people are. They are so ignorant of themselves, society, normalcy, etc the are comp…

Welcome to the group my man! Like everyone else has said so far work on yourself, be proud of yourself, and focus on the things you’ve always wanted to achieve now. I went through a similar experience, many of us did. There is absolutely nothing wrong with MGTOW the social stigma is ridiculous. What is (actually) wrong (not what our clown world says) with someone, a man, focusing on bettering himself and becoming the man he always wanted to be. Stay true to your goals and yourself and you will f…

TwoXChromosomes has to be one of the most hate filled, self indulgent, self pitying, hypergamy filled, white night policed, stupid threads on reddit. While this is comical I finally deleted the thread from showing up on my front page (it auto shows on a new account and I’d just been to lazy to do this before), all it did was make me oscillate between laughter and anger.
