TRP is prejudicial but only as a sexual strategy. That is the relevant dissimilarity between TRP prejudice and racial prejudice. As a black man, or any man, you needn't worry what category others try to put you in. You pick the category, you put in the work, you win. But you already knew that.

Can confirm. I'm wealthy and will likely move to Puerto Rico for the 0% short term and long term capital gains tax and max 4% corporate tax.

Haven't posted here in awhile, but this struck me. I completely identify with the notion that things are objectively better but you don't feel better. When things are all going well, I get a sense that I've cracked the code of life and then I get bored. Like a slow beta-burn in a LTR. Here's what works for me: It's my fault. It's my fucking fault. I'm responsible for fixing it. I work better with my back against the wall. Go find a wall, go find your back. Place it against it and fight like hell…

There are no jumps in logic. Objectivism allows for love, caring for another, protecting common goods and reducing externalities; just as socialism, communism, etc. The difference is Objectivism tackles these challenges much more efficiently.

Have you ever wondered if Reddit is a giant libertarian experiment? I have. It's clearly a hands-off approach to governance, where subs are free to do what they please. The Rand-style governance of Reddit has produced a wild variety of outcomes, the majority of which are better than the other systems. Her books are great, and the outcomes her ideaology produces are even better.

Thank you for this reply. It's the kind of finer revisions my post needs.

Walk it off. Rub some dirt on it. Others will bring it up to poke you. Respond with "I heard that too." Then smile.

PPD is a waste of energy and it pulls attention away from making more money and lifting. We do not owe an explanation to anyone and they are not worthy of my time in any 'debate.' TRP is settled biological law. If someone has trouble understanding why it works, they can read the sidebar. That's why it's there.

There isn't much room in TRP for those that cannot compete and provide for their own happiness, which at its core, is the main difference between conservative and liberal politics. Economic conservatives are happy to win on their own merits, while economic liberals prefer to change the rules to get the outcomes they want, often on the basis of special class, like women, race, zip code, etc. I generally pity Democrats. I have a similar view of BP'ers. Economic conservatives create, Economic liber…

Do not break frame. You set a boundary and you need to keep it. If you allow her to break your boundary, her brain will respond like this: "Does he even mean what he says?" "He told me not to go through it, then he did. Not a leader. Such a pushover." "That wasn't hard at all, I bet he can't handle life when shit hits the fan." "I need someone stronger"

Be entertained by the clownish behavior in the media. Laugh them off, some call this Amused Mastery. There is no reason to stay angry. You've been lied to for a very long time, but now you know the truth. It's time for you to accept the nature of the opposite sex and adjust your strategy.

Do not take her back. Do not attempt to take her back. That door must be permanently closed and you must be the one to take ownership in closing it. You are much better than this bullshit. Go to the gym everyday and work on your core skills, professionally and personally. It's time to make more money, get a more prestigious internship, and enjoy the company of many beautiful women. This woman does not have enough virtue to occupy your time.

I'm impressed you are familiar with her views on physical things...or said differently her 'theory of knowledge.' However, her logic is valid and it isn't generous to think so. She makes valid arguments with premises that do not give a single, invalid conclusion-which is what DRMMMR76's point is. If you don't believe that some of her premises are true/false as she believes, then you must doubt her conclusions, not the validity of the argument.

There is no 'nice thing' about stealing the earnings of 1 man and gifting the theft to another man who didn't earn it.

I'll bite. Don't confuse philosophy with policy. Policies are the eventual rules based on an underlying philosophy. Ayn Rand's 'objectivism' is a philosophy that, while not possessing the empiricism you require, has proven a better political system than some others. Namely, when trying to understand behaviors in economics. The best example I can offer is Nash's game theory...you might recognize it from the movie "A Beautiful Mind." Nash quantified and measured the effects of independent actors w…

Not many philosophers were alive to be recorded. I'd recommend taking advantage of this fact and watch every interview available on YouTube.

If there can be separation of religion and state, there can be separation of economy and state. Also, we are inching our way toward massive deregulation in any event, mostly through the advances of technology, automation and access to information. The need for an optimal ground between communism/libertarianism presupposes either contain characteristics worth having. I think Ayn's world produces much more pain but also much more happiness, and being a man that isn't afraid of the responsibility f…

Cognitive dissonance. Nailed it. I'm not sure how anyone can reconcile the base beliefs of RP with any Democrat philosophy. They are incompatible.
