No. I don’t even need to read past the title. That’s fucking disgusting and it’s terrifying me that she didn’t immediately leave. My heart goes out to her children.

I think the bitterness is a natural part of healing tbh 💜 The only thing to do now is learn from it all and never let a partner treat you like that again. Set boundaries and stick to them, and give yourself all the love and energy you gave to him he didn’t give back.

Can’t speak for everyone but to me it’s an absolute deal breaker if someone dislikes cats. Meeting someone who hates cats would make me instantly drop all communication and ghost them, romantic interest or not. I really love cats. 🤷‍♀️

This is so important!! And it goes beyond finances too, never fully rely on your partner for something that you could learn to do yourself because if the time comes when you should leave, you’ll feel like you don’t know how to function independently.

Yes also bad driving (speeding/recklessness) while you’re in the car indicates a lack of regard for your safety at best and a demonstration of the power he has over you at worst.

Dropping a reminder to trust your intuition, even if men and pickmeishas around you tell you that you’re overreacting. Your intuition is your brain telling you something isn’t quite right. Listen to it and investigate it. You don’t owe anyone a second chance or an explanation, you are free to end an arrangement with someone at any time. View dating like auditions and only pick the very best person for the role. Don’t allow someone to stay in your life out of niceness or pity. At the end of the d…

I would say love does have to be earned, but not by acts of service or by your appearance. Love has to be earned by treating your partner with respect and care. Edit: This article is a good example of what I mean.

An exchange I commonly see: Men of Reddit: Why are these crazy women angry at men all the time? We have equal rights! This is sexism against men! Women of Reddit: What you should understand is that actually, there are still many countries with laws which oppress women and even within western society there are still subtle ways women are treated badly and disadvantaged- Men of Reddit: DOWNVOTE

It’s sad that women are taught to doubt their own feelings so much to the point that they write posts like this instead of running far, far away.

This is really touching and beautiful. You’ve done what so many scrotes cannot, you looked at your behaviour and bettered it. You’ve grown and changed and learned. You’ve admitted your faults. You’ve seen through his lies. I’m so proud of you.

Bad sex for women can be downright traumatic. I don’t believe men when they say this anyway. I think it’s just some kind of weird flex for them.

I wonder what would happen if she just refused to take care of the child herself in favour of her own hobbies (not advocating for that, this is just a hypothetical). Would the kid just starve? Would the LVM just continue his gaming routine and allow the child to be neglected? Its absolutely insane how a father just refuses his parenting duties in order to play games, it’s absolutely disgusting. And then to totally dismiss her by saying “I’m not the AH”. Yes my dude you’re the AH. Hope one day sh…

Like 90% of men don’t wash often or groom or dress nicely to make themselves look good so yeah you’re probably right. It’s fine for men to have all their little preferences but fuck trying to look good themselves because women should just accept them as they are, stinky tiny dick and all.

Ok but how do these women know they’re dating “butt guys”? Because the guy told them. Not only this, but made it clear that their gfs weren’t up to his butt standards. They knowingly made these women self-conscious about their bodies. You can have a fucking “preference” but keep that shit to yourself. I’ve never heard of a woman telling a man “yeah I prefer men with 7 inch dicks… but ohhhh don’t feel bad about your lil grain of rice you got there I don’t really care”. Fuck off.

Yep, email paper trail and document EVERYTHING he does that makes you uncomfortable, just in case. Dates and times. No matter how small, just keep a note of it all. This will help if the manager tries to tell you you’re making a big deal over nothing. If you decide to go to your manager you could say he is overwhelming you by contacting you all the time and it’s making you uncomfortable. Say that his questions and requests for training he doesn’t really need is wasting your time and distracting …

Too bad, all the men upvoting are probably thinking “wow, I can get away with doing literally nothing in romantic relationships and women will be happy about it.”

I really don’t understand this behaviour. It’s not just laziness, these men actually go out of their way to poison women or put them in uncomfortable situations that can literally threaten their lives. Is it control? Is it to show women that they can harm them so easily? Do they believe women are liars? It’s really scary shit.

Men are brought up with a romanticised image of women too, but what they get is women sidekicks who’s affection will be won by acts of romance and heroism who then become subservient property of the man. You can see that this influences men to think that if they act in a certain way that they are entitled to the subject of their affections. Its why the act comes right down when women reject them, because it’s not authentic and doesn’t come from a place of love or caring. It’s like they’re condit…

Yeah exactly. Women go to a lot of effort to look desirable and a whole lot of men don’t clean their faces, groom, wipe after peeing, wash their hands or clean their asses.

First of all you need to accept it. It has happened, these people have shown you that they were LV all along and that you’re better off without them. It sucks to lose friends, especially friends you’ve had for a long time but better you find out their true nature now than later. Don’t make any attempt to reconnect. Next, get rid of pictures of them and block them on your social media. Just cut them out of your life. You don’t need to see updates on them. Third, you need to start focusing on your…

For clarification on 5: While in high school I witnessed my male classmates who would bring up Tinder and other dating apps they had and make fun of girls pictures on it, or show the pictures to their friends and sit together to ‘rate’ them. Ever since I saw that I’ve been wary about posting my picture on OLD. I don’t want to be rated like a fucking movie by some scrote thanks.

I have a list on my phone of 5 good reasons to remind myself never to use OLD You don’t need to advertise yourself to men. You know your worth, don’t bother trying to cram your good qualities onto a webpage for men to browse through like a shopping catalogue. You don’t need their validation and it can just as quickly turn to put downs when you reject them. Maybe you like the compliments and attention that comes from OLD but you don’t need it from losers. HVM probably don’t use dating apps, they …

Women must be born with innate knowledge of how to style long hair. I also did not consider communicating with my kids or that my children would let me know if I’m hurting them while styling their hair. Dudes not even asking for specific advice on anything. Not how to brush it, not how to braid it, how to tie it back, diddly squat.

When I was a bit younger I was in a relationship with another woman and the two of us befriended a guy who we both became really close with. I considered him to be like a brother, we hung out a lot but it was always platonic and good fun. Turns out he had a crush on my girlfriend the whole time, after we broke up he started dating her and totally stopped speaking to me. Now I will always be extremely suspicious of men claiming to want to be a platonic friend.

Did you date my ex? I relate to all of this but the loans thing hits close to home. I lent my ex over £1k at the start of our relationship to help get his life back on track and after about a year of patiently reminding him to pay me back he said to me “oh you don’t expect that back do you? I’ve made up for it by... PAYING MY HALF OF OUR JOINT LIVING EXPENSES” 💀 like yeah man you’ve been paying the money you need to pay to live and you think you’re doing me a favour????

I have had a similar experience. Here are some things that helped me get over guilt. You can’t change him. You can’t help him. He needs to do those things for himself. If you waste time and energy trying then all it will do is drag your mental and physical health down, not boost his up. You need to put yourself first. Men are often unwilling to change and even if he promised you a thousand times that he would, look at 7 years of evidence that shows that he couldn’t. He doesn’t want to, he just w…

I’m glad she’s called it for what it was, that he was trying to poison her. I’m happy she left. I don’t understand this behaviour at all. He was probably the kid who would set ants on fire with a magnifying glass just because.

Yes yes yes, my LVX woke me up every morning with some kind of complaints or orders. It was always negativity that I didn’t need to fucking hear first thing in the morning or he was waking me up to do shit for him. He would also wake me up by blowdrying his hair right beside my bed. Sometimes on his days off when he got a long-lie, I would wake up to shitty tik tok videos at full volume. Now I sleep like a baby every night without him, and have calm and peaceful mornings. 💁‍♀️

I know that the media and society has shown women as powerful when they have the male gaze You put into words something I just realised I had never fully grasped. This is so, so true though. In movies, music videos and any media containing a woman her power pretty much entirely revolves around how effectively she captures the male gaze. Very rarely can a women be powerful or “badass” without being hot.

My friend (probably also around 21/22 at the time) used to work in a hotel spa and told me about old men who would constantly flash her, and although she complained, nothing happened and she had to quit shortly after because of how uncomfortable it was to work there.
