I have a list on my phone of 5 good reasons to remind myself never to use OLD

You don’t need to advertise yourself to men. You know your worth, don’t bother trying to cram your good qualities onto a webpage for men to browse through like a shopping catalogue.
You don’t need their validation and it can just as quickly turn to put downs when you reject them. Maybe you like the compliments and attention that comes from OLD but you don’t need it from losers.
HVM probably don’t use dating apps, they probably agree dating apps are just cesspools of LVM looking for pickmes and hookups.
It’s easy to lie and try to charm you. They think once they’ve said all the right things they can meet you and can sleep with you, then facade can come down.
Don’t trust them not to show their friends, or not to be making fun of your profile. You don’t deserve that.

The STI/COVID risk is a good point. I’m going to add that to the list.

We should not be supporting these companies at all. They are anti-women.

For the women that say "but I'd never meet (LV) men otherwise!" I have some thoughts for you:

If you don't have time to go out and meet people, you should ask yourself if you really have time to date at all.

If you don't get approached by men in your area, guess what? All those lazy scrotes are also using OLD. OLD attracts LOWEST effort people, not the men who have the gumption to talk to a woman in the wild.

If you go out but never meet any men, perhaps there aren't any in your area. If that's the case, then the same will be true on OLD! Do you really want to get to know someone 100 miles away?

Or perhaps you go out, get approached by men often, but don't find any you like. Alright well if you're super picky pants (which you should be), have fun swiping for 5000 hours to find one guy you will probably still hate in person.

Ladies. Get. Off. The. Apps. Go live your life. There is more to living than male validation and dinner dates with NV scrotes.

Also I think not using OLD allows people to develop better social skills because you're not hiding behind a screen. I know it's easier said than done and I'm not perfect myself but I think pushing myself out of my comfort zone to expand my circle will be a more fruitful experience

Women are already at a severe disadvantage on OLD as NVM/narcs/sociopaths (so...99.9998% of scrotes using OLD) see women there as so desperate they need to advertise themselves (yes, hypocritical but when has that ever stopped them before?). They already feel justified in treating you subpar/mediocre. They won't admit this, but it's true.

There are also the same guys you see constantly on a variety of dating apps over a long period of time. It’s like they’re paying to be at the top of the stack in multiple apps. Even though I didn’t have a strong opinion on them when I first saw their profile, it makes you smell their desperation and they end up being repulsive to me.

I am new to FDS principles but the problem I have is that I don’t get much success at all in OLD except for my ex which thanks to FDS I learnt is a NVM who couldn’t even pay for dinner on my birthday. The current guys I’ve met on there are absolute garbage too and super flaky. But I don’t have any guys show interest in me in real life either.

I had a date set up for Saturday and the guy was very enthusiastic texter at first, now he’s disappeared and hasn’t sent me a msg all day. I believe in the male being the pursuer strategy so I won’t be initiating the convo now since we’ve only been talking for a few days.

How can I avoid feeling anxious and depressed about my lack of attention from HVM and the fact that I barely attract guys to begin with?

I do not support OLD it is degrading to me to create a profile that is supposed to get people to like me, I will not waste my time on such things. I have made profiles a few times and never met anyone off it because all of the guys are disrespectful and dont even read the bios they just comment on looks. It is like a menu of women to them and I think it is a huge waste of time. Imo HVW do not go on OLD

The last sentence made me laugh because it’s true! I’ve been on there for about two years now and I think the app has give up on me due to my high standards. Due to my own health reasons I can’t be around people who smoke, do drugs, and smoke weed since it worsens my condition, so it’s an automatic no for me. I don’t mind if they drink in front of me, but I’ve noticed that it’s hard for them and it could ruin the mood since my medication can’t be taken with alcohol. Just that alone eliminates at least 80-90% of the potential matches for me on OLD. Another thing to add is that I’ve realized that I want good conversation, acceptance and acknowledgment (of my illness) from my potential partner. I believe that in real life, dating is a lot easier since you’re surrounded by people that have the same interests as you, but with the pandemic has made it a lot harder to meet new people.

One of my friends tried to suggest to me to use tinder and I gave it a chance but after two hours not only I was already kinda of bored of using it but my account was suddenly deleted and I didn't even feel sad about it's more of a relief because I would probably delete it anyway. This just made me even more certain about the fact that online dating is not for me at all.
