8	Lost my Ability to Love Very true. I’d say this was the first breakup where I was truly invested in a relationship. It’s sad to say, but I would have done anything for her. 12	Lost my Ability to Love Yes sir, you are correct. It was hard to see it at first, but now coming full circle. It will be about a year next month and I haven’t looked back. There wasn’t any begging or pleading on my part, I packed her things and blocked her when she pulled out of my driveway. I’ve never had social media so it makes life easier. A week before she split town, she announced she received a 20k raise and met a new friend at work. When she was packing her things, she spoke to me like we’ve never met. It was a strange feeling. No arguments, fighting, etc. She left me 2 months before the wedding. Engaged for one year, together for 5. I’m a little older than you. The point is .... there is no point.
