There's a lot to unpack in the links shared here. The first one shows the mindset of conservatives, their arguments and fears around sex ed. The links about film make sense cuz the filming industry is a different class generally, that have different rules and are above having to submit to these values in their personal lives. The problem i have is with the second link. They legit named a space "hoe talks", use the term "black and brown bodies" and had a sentence saying "women and colonised bodie…

To be honest. I want to be a mother quite late for this reason, so that i have financial freedom when i have children. I have not told this to my family or my current partner (who wants to have children but i do not want with him at the moment) because even without children, i want to reduce the time I'm working when I'm older and "retire" early (i.e. not live paycheck to paycheck)

Either way, it's best to cut them off completely if they're not respecting your boundaries. that's not good advice lacking the context. I know how to go about respecting my own wishes in a friendship. And I know some guys can do this, but it seems like most of them can't or are convinced they shouldn't. toxic masculinity at play. They are told they have to be pursuers, and think that a woman's lack of disgust is proof she really just consented to you pushing forward. annoying.

Question.. i know I'm not being lied to, but this guy is very childish, he spends a long time listing thinks he likes about me but in a way that self-deprecates himself, which is weird.
