The issue you're running into is thinking that education has a direct correlation to intelligence or even personality. It doesn't. Example; My girl doesn't always know what I'm talking about, so she asks me to dumb it down sometimes and remains engaged. Same when she talks about something I don't understand- I stay engaged and ask questions. Further, like the other guy said, often that education comes with ego. So not only is it not relevant or beneficial, but it runs the risk of actually being …

Also … why are the women who post like this always “conventionally attractive”. I really struggle to believe it. If you’ve been told by friends, family or people who just want sex from you then you can’t place weight on it. My mum says I’m handsome. Doesn’t make it true. Both my mother and grandmother insist I'm as handsome as can be! According to them, Clooney's a hobgoblin compared to me. It must be true, right?

I'd love to think this can't be real, but somehow I suspect it is.

Based on the stats, on paper I'm fine with "woman only" taxis. Paid for by tax payers I'm less enthusiastic about.

Said it in another comment. The movie seems to have some kind of split personality disorder. Competently made movie with a few genuinely funny moments, clearly going for a girl power thing, which is fine... But then moments where it was like an angry, bitter feminist took over before giving it back for the ending.

That's what gets me- it doesn't seem to know the message it wants to send. It's a competently made movie with a few genuinely funny moments and seems like it's going for a feel good, girl empowerment angle... But then it seems like entire scenes were handed over to an angry, bitter feminist, before getting back on track.

That tracks. Female models undisputably bring in more money than male models. Makes sense they'd get paid more.

Remember, women don't want to be objectified. Except when they do. Sometimes we can tell when to do what based on context. Most times we can't. And they'll blame us either way. Best advice is don't do it, then shrug and move on if they complain.

This one is tricky. Look at migraine research for example. For years doctors ignored and downplayed migraines, treated them like a headache and told you to go take some Tylenol. Only recently are they being studied and taken seriously. The thing is, women are more prone to migraines than men so this can seem like an issue of sexism. When in truth it's an issue with the medical system overall.

I was going to reply to the OP and say "I don't think that's a thing anymore, I haven't received any ban notices", but then I followed your link to that sub and saw that I can't post. Guess they do it without notifying you now.

It had a surprising amount of jokes that landed, yes. Hell, my friend actually calls herself my low commitment girlfriend, we found that line so funny. It definitely has moments where it's over the top, anti-men though, for sure.

It's an acronym of two specific words with two specific meanings. Unless we're letting people redefine words again, like we did with "fascism" or "racism". Angry people are angry, not ists or phobes or cels.

On paper, I don't mind. I used to work mall security and we had stats on what went on in parking lots. Based purely on those stats, it doesn't bother me to add women to handicap and family parking close to the door. In practice however, you know the ones to use it are going to be the biggest proponents of feminism and women are strong and all that nonsense though, so it'll probably be silly at best.

That's what those types of people do, they move the goalposts to suit whatever they feel at a given moment. That's why we see so many words, especially the ist, ism, and phobe type words so watered down today.

Same height as you. A little heavier and a little less worried about physical altercations, but it's a valid issue. I work in security so my job is spotting safety issues like those and suggesting methods of fixing them. My personal favorite is when they tell me I'm victim blaming if I suggest things they can personally do to improve their safety- things that I myself do. The reality is you're right, but it's not just feminists. Modern America doesn't think men our height exist. It's little thin…

A band aid versus what, though? Expecting society and/or women to go back to the way they were? Telling men to just be better or get used to it? In current form, plain mannequins with holes, you may be right. But if you ask me what's more likely: relationships improving or this technology improving, that's not even a debate.

I'm not sure I'm sold on them being human like companions, at least not until we have decent AI, but as devices to help meet needs, definitely. Even as pseudo companions like pets... As the technology continues to improve, it's a definite possibility.

Man, ive said this a thousand times, sex bots are only gonna make men even lonlier. I'm not sure I agree, especially as the technology continues to advance. Especially for many men who are already happy and alone, it might be a great addition.

Incels should not be compared in any way to a protected class. Incels have about 10 incidents of terrorism That got mass media coverage and got a lot of hate for it. Imagine if the media covered gang violence the same way. I think suddenly it wouldn't be so cool to demonize an entire category of men for the behavior of some of them.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen03/10/22 05:14 PM

Originally, before it was warped like so many other so words to be used as insults, "incel" simply stood for "involuntary celibate". There are certainly men that visit this sub that fit that description. I don't see it as confusing at all. The world gives safe spaces to everyone and everything else, there's no harm in this being one for men who are, essentially, suffering from loneliness.

That's the thing that's so crazy about these profiles. I'll never throw shade at someone for how they look, or what medical conditions they have, but it's like expecting your 1989 Toyota Corolla to compete in Formula 1 racing.

I'm astonished that single motherhood is such an endemic problem in today's modern age of contraception. "My body my choice" and endless debates about all the different contraceptive and abortive options, but once they have them they refuse to use them.

While I understand the need and motivation, I have to say I agree with some of the disappointed posts saying that forums.red still needs work. I'm sure I'll stay involved and I look forward to what forums.red may become, but I have to admit I'm also disappointed with some of the hostility displayed by the moderators here towards said disappointment. This isn't the sub to learn game or red pill. A lot of us are out of relationships and done with them. Around here we just display the red flags and have a laugh. Just take care of yourself, don't chase women, and avoid those aforementioned flags, and you'll be fine.

Not only is she a used up slut, but she's also, in that very post, turning down dudes offering to put up with it, showing that she doesn't want the kind of men she's caused herself to deserve. You can't make this up.

What the hell? Sounds like she's taking advantage of this guy in just about every way possible. He sounds absolutely innocent. Like a child, almost. 59.55 million people live in Italy. We're rounding off here, but cut in half to get 30 million males. Cut that in half again for adult men. She's saying in a selection of roughly 15 million men, none are good enough for her.

We see it all the time. "It just happened.", they say. Had this been a slightly different situation or if he had been bored, it would have "just happened". Pure circumstance prevented her from cheating on her husband, not any kind of self-control. the whole post details a lack of it. Further, she's keeping that painting just so she can keep thinking of this guy, showing a lack of respect for her husband, and a lack of attraction. She used a whole lot of extra words to say "He was hot, my husband…

That's the thing that blows my mind when I see this. How hard (not just women, but definitely women) fought so that everyone could get an education since the days of working your kids to death on your farm, and we still see stuff like this.

The one I just recently saw, an 18 year old was upset because the father found out he wasn't- and was going to pull the college fund. "But now I might have to go to a cheap school." I knew a girl some time ago, she complained about the wage gap, because the men she worked with made more than her. Despite all her fancy degrees, she didn't factor in that they had been with the business for 20 years and she'd just gotten out of college.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen04/01/22 07:51 AM

/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen29/12/21 12:25 AM

Doesn't even matter. She's 43 expecting the same results she had at 21. It's biologically impossible.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen29/12/21 12:22 AM

/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen14/12/21 07:31 PM

The worst part of this is how many profiles we see like this. I'm firmly convinced that western society has gone totally off the rails for so many women to constantly grow up thinking this is acceptable behavior.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen13/12/21 05:56 PM

There's no way she's simply posting tasteful nude pics online and getting a response that strong. She's doing some hardcore stuff and not telling us.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen11/12/21 09:33 PM

There's no way she's just posing like a model, even nude, or dudes wouldn't be so grossed out.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen11/12/21 09:26 PM

Bingo. Even nude models with classy and tasteful pictures, or hard stances of not doing certain content, have no trouble getting relationships. She's doing some full on porn is her problem.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen11/12/21 09:22 PM

"You are not my Dad!" That's the worst part. Adoption can be a noble thing, but in these types of relationships, it always becomes about resources, not actually raising the kids and teaching any sort of responsibility or discipline.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen11/12/21 09:12 PM

He waived a little, but the rest would fall on taxpayers and/or he'd have to somehow make private institutions just say "nevermind, you don't need to pay us".

Have you looked at politics lately? They're running "I'll give you free shit" platforms. Hell, our current President's biggest talking point was that he was going to waive everyone's debt.

When men say they like petite, polite asians they're accused of racist fetishization. When women only like black men that cheat on them, it's preference. Yeah.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen07/12/21 12:27 AM

Totally anecdotal, but I've never heard it either. And I have agree with the catch 22. If you actually don't care, then you don't care if they're throwing themselves at you.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen06/12/21 08:27 PM

And that's before getting into the (conveniently) missing context as for the reason for his weight-gain. For all we know he's working 60+ hours a week to maintain the quality of life she insists upon and thus does not have the time or motivation left for self maintenance like healthy meals and exercise, while ironically leaving her free to do so on her end. I can't believe more of us aren't talking about this. There's no way she's going to the gym all week, plus keeping a job and taking care of …

I said something in one of my replies. If we don't learn to read between the lines, profiles like this will get us.

See, that's the sad thing about modern dating. She's got no kids, and not once does she mention an abusive ex. It makes her profile look downright good- Compared to the templates we usually see. If you don't read between the lines on this one, you could get caught.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen30/11/21 06:14 PM

Right? I literally felt my skin crawl, reading that. Imagine bragging about sleeping with drug addicts while you're "going on coffee dates" with supposedly good guys.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen30/11/21 06:05 PM

I was thinking the same. They are 100% this bad, but I've never seen them admit it like this.

Some people jump to - you should have picked the right one / waited or not waited for marriage / done this and not done that. Some people will say - tHeRe aRe pLeNtY oF hiGh LiBiDo wYmYnZ iF yOu jUsT fUlLfiLL tHiS LoNg LiSt oF rEqUiReMeNtZz. This in particular bears highlighting. It's a marriage, not a calisthenics workout. If you have to "hold frame" and/or "be Alpha" the whole time, you're eventually gonna crack, and then the whole thing will come down like a house of cards.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen24/11/21 07:54 PM

Nobody has a problem saying that to an idealistic 17-year-old guy, but for some reason telling young women that putting themselves in sketchy situations increases the likelihood of bad outcomes is unacceptable. Not to get off topic, but it really is a great example of the double standard. If a woman fended off an attempted rapist using a rifle, you'd be an evil rape apologist for even asking where she got it.

While it's absolutely true that everyone is responsible for their own actions, we'd be foolish to deny that modern, mainstream society is contributing to this.

If only we could communicate to her (soon to be ex) boyfriend that he did nothing wrong and that he is one of millions of men who got short changed by western woman behavior on full display. That's the worst part of this story. That innocent dude is going to blame himself and be miserable.

/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen18/11/21 12:19 AM

Yeah, something's not adding up here. 5 vs 9 in today's world is nothing. Something tells me the "arranged meet ups" puts her count way, way, way higher, and that's what the boyfriend was upset about.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen17/11/21 06:13 PM

That's about the only theoretically positive thing in the profile. It used to be, if you were unattractive or overweight, you would work on your personality and wit to make up for it. Unfortunately, she's a single mother looking for Chad, so she didn't do that.

I would. Manosphere spaces like this aren't just for entertainment. They've absolutely helped men in dark places realize it's not their fault. Cutting people off from us would take that resource away from people that might need it, and give fuel to the gaslighters.

I used a gun analogy for someone else. "Treat all guns as if they're loaded." Obviously not all guns are always loaded. Some can't even fire. It's just a safety precaution, until you've verified that the gun isn't loaded. When we say here "all women are like that", it's the same thing.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen17/10/21 07:59 PM
9

Firearms safety instructors tell you to treat all guns as if they're loaded. Obviously not every gun in the world will always be loaded, and you can check a gun safely, but treating them all that way at first helps prevent you from getting hurt. Women are just like that.

What she's being shamed for is showing it off instead of any personality or interests, making threats, demanding "no hookups" which is a lie, and subtly making demands for bad choices in men. The fact that she's out of shape while doing all this just makes it that much worse. Also, rule 3.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen11/10/21 05:04 PM

That's something nobody ever talks about. When those kids end up in prison (or worse) it's all about the unfair legal system or "systemic racism", but nobody checks to see if they had a father in their life.

Part of me wants to agree with you because they might not act this way if it weren't for the lies they're fed, but... Nobody's holding a gun to any of these women. "no hook ups" which really means "no more hook ups" and "looking for something long term" AKA serious, are the indicators here. Those are right out of the sidebar. And to repeat what I said above; If she were divorced, or (especially) if she were a widow, there'd certainly be some indication of it. Women almost never leave that stuff out.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen25/08/21 08:33 AM

/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen25/08/21 08:30 AM

It fits our theme, I think. "No hook ups" means "no more hook ups now that I've got 3 kids" and she's looking for something "long term", aka "serious" now that she's got those kids to provide for.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen24/08/21 10:33 PM

She says "no hookups" but as evidenced by the kids, we know she means "no hookups anymore". Time to find that provider!

/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen24/08/21 07:42 PM

And before anyone accuses us of inconsistent standards; There's nothing wrong with wanting to be a housewife or homemaker or stay at home mom. The problem is expecting to move someone else's kids into our homes.

/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen21/08/21 06:47 AM

I disagree with setting it private. Not only do we risk becoming an echo chamber without new perspectives coming in, but there are men out there that this stuff could be therapeutic for. Some of them have yet to discover men's places like these.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen17/08/21 11:22 PM

It continues to amaze me that these women see an "About me" section as a chance to list baggage, not talk about passions or hobbies or interests...
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen12/08/21 04:41 PM
15

One thing that really bugs me... Even if we give the benefit of the doubt, and grant that Reddit is trying to ban "hate and sexism", I gotta wonder why only supposed misogyny subs are being targeted and not misandry subs- especially considering that they're actually violating Reddit's brigading (and other) rules.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen11/08/21 08:30 PM
18

Amen to that. I didn't even consider the concept until my last annoying relationship where I discovered her "roommate" was actually her husband deployed in Iraq. Only years later did I realize that giving up on women had a name.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen09/08/21 09:21 PM
15

Ah yes. Just "get game and hold frame" as they say. Spend the rest of your life faking it and rolling the dice. Sounds like a wonderful way to live. Insulting people that don't want to play a rigged game is the same shaming tactics that these single mothers use. "Man up and accept the situation". Good job dancing around rules 1 and 2, though.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen09/08/21 04:37 PM

A good rule of thumb is to think of these warnings as safety rules, not descriptive facts. It's very much like firearms. One safety rule of firearms is "always treat it as if it's loaded". Obviously not all guns are loaded all the time. Some may never be loaded, they're purely decorative. Some may have blanks or less lethal rounds. But if you always treat all of them as if they're loaded, you're much less likely to experience an accidental shooting. The same applies to women.

I think the kind of nurse matters, too. The one working in a high end hospital around wealthy doctors is going to behave much different than the one in a local, understaffed and underfunded clinic.

The world is stacking the odds against men. No only do you have the topic of this discussion, but then you have the education system and hiring processes prioritizing women, while the costs of everything get out of control. I make twice what my dad did at my age. I live okay because I'm single, but he was able to buy a house for a family of 4 and pay it off, 2 cars, a camper, and more. There's no way I could do that today on my paycheck.

It's that old study that was released by OkCupid. Men rated women on a nice bell curve- in such a fashion that almost no women were rated very low. The way you'd expect averages to work out. Meanwhile, women think 80% of men are 2's.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen06/06/21 02:00 AM

Oh, you're absolutely right. It's a rough number, and it's the women that cause it nearly every time- either through their choice in men, or due to how the treat the man. I blamed women in my post, but I wasn't as clear as I could have been.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen10/05/21 01:19 AM

It's not racism to point out statistics or even stereotypes. Something like 80% of all fatherless children have a black father. These women choose the men. Making fun of her for her poor choices isn't racism, and it's the least she deserves.

Christ on a crutch. Shit like this is why my taxes are so fucking high. 30% out of my income, then I go buy a motorcycle and sales tax, license fee, registration fee, mandatory insurance to subsidize other people, excise tax, and tax on the gas, so this stupid rabbit can have 5 kids out of wedlock

I wonder if anyone ever explained to these people that online dating came from the concept of the 'want ad' and personal ads- advertisement about yourself. It's not a goddamned shopping list.

/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen01/04/21 11:53 PM

It's true that she's not as bad as most- you'll notice most of the comments aren't as harsh either, to balance that out. The fact remains that as a single mother, she's already fighting an uphill battle. Saying "I want to better" in the same place you're looking for the bailout? Big oof.

Women have created this situation with their shitty behavior. This. Back when I was still dating, I had no issue doing something decent and covering the whole bill. Usually I had an okay time, so it was worth it. Now, guys like me are out of the game entirely, because of how women behave today.

/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen22/03/21 09:12 PM

I keep saying it myself. It's insane that men have to look in the mirror and say "Shit, I should learn some jokes", but women not only don't have to do that, but also expect to be treated like supermodels in the process.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen21/03/21 11:00 PM

/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen20/03/21 01:22 AM

It doesn't harm me at all. I'm not asking where are all the "real men" ready to "man up" after I've had two kids and no education. I'm happily employed with fun, fulfilling hobbies. The women rating 80% of men unattractive are hurting themselves.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen19/03/21 10:57 PM
4

the survey also revealed that women were much more likely to contact men who weren't in their "attractive" range than men were. That's a stupid counter argument in a case where over 80% are rated unattractive. That's like saying there are more shark attacks at the water surface than in deep water- because duh, that's where all the people are.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen19/03/21 08:20 PM

Let me be clear; I'm MGTOW, and this isn't really the sub for NAWALT, or I might have even suggested it as a possibility. I'm arguing on the premise that u/ZlayerXZ made, that all women are the same. Someone that'll put out for you on the first date, will put out for other people on the first date. You even just said so yourself. It's a lack of good decision making skills. Not vetting people before sleeping with them is why we have an epidemic of single mothers, and why so many people have STIs …
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen01/03/21 11:20 PM

you believe some women may be “special” If that's what you took away from what I said, you didn't read it entirely. puts out early on is the one that is showing me respect as a men Sluts don't respect themselves, and certainly don't respect us. /r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen01/03/21 08:15 PM

Although I'm out of the game entirely at this point, I'd never date a woman that put out on the first date. If she's putting out for you on the first date, she's putting out for everyone on the first date. That's a petri dish you're crawling into bed with. As the saying goes, you don't make a hoe into a housewife. The ones I dated back in the day waited, without waiting too long- just long enough to keep me from losing interest, which was the right way to do it. In my opinion, anyway. Of course,…

Not picky =/= low standards. Stop defending women's poor choices.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen23/02/21 09:36 PM
14

The thing is, men are not picky. If a woman is pleasant and feminine, she can get an okay guy. If she takes care of her body and/or has good genes, she can get a really really good one. A woman that is single is single because of decisions she's made or continues to make, full stop. They want someone out of their league, they're alpha widowed, they're a slut, whatever it is, it's choices they made. We can offer advice, empathy, and/or sympathy, but this is definitely WAATGM material.

The comments here are being downright civil compared to most times. This problem is on her. Women have all the opportunity in the world to get a guy today, thanks to advances in communication and travel. Don't even need to leave the house. Make a female profile on any dating app, from Tinder to Match, and you'll have a full inbox the next day. Any failure to get a good man is 100% on them.

Submissions must show a woman who is looking for commitment while also either complaining about jerks or promiscuity, needing her kids provided for, being entitled or unreasonable, or complaining that she "can't find a decent guy". That's rule 5. This might be weekend content, and it certainly proves what we think about many women, but doesn't fit rule 5.

Here, I'll explain it slowly. She's asking "why does everyone treat me like a sex worker instead of a house wife?" right after bragging about how much she likes being a sex worker. Even if you don't look down on sex work, that's a stupid question she's asking.

That's like, my biggest fear at my age, if I tried to date someone. What and who has she been doing, and how am I gonna find out? Just look at some of the divorce and breakup stories we've featured here, and consider our posting rules limit just how many we see.

When I was younger, I had a couple relationships. They went exactly as the horror stories from this sub go. I used to think I was the problem. I blamed myself, started drinking. This one certainly isn't one of the worst we've seen, but you're mistaken to think there's nothing wrong here. I'll ignore her height and weight completely. The key factor is the child. She's not a widow, she would have said so. That means she slept around enough to have a kid. She doesn't have a job- you don't have time to raise a kid and get two degrees and have a job- so she's straight up looking for a bailout. She intends to dump two degrees worth of college debt and a the cost of a child on…

She's told us nothing about herself except the worst things. No likes, no hobbies, nothing that says she's pleasant or fun. That means the only thing left to analyze is her age and appearance. If she were pleasant, funny, and/or had interesting hobbies, there are plenty of men her age that would ignore her looks (even find her attractive for those pleasant attributes), maybe even her kids, and enjoy spending time with her. How does anyone take a message like this seriously? Women can't walk down the street without getting hit on. I've had some real ugly ones complain that they're sick of men "catcalling" them on the street. Simply stepping outside can get a woman endless dates. Open a dating app, endless messages. The only thing that stops a woman from getting into a good relationship is herself.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. There used to be a time when women, like men, looked in the mirror and said "Hmm. I'd better work on my personality. Maybe be funny." why shouldn’t he take care of her and give her everything she needs and more in life I was with you until here. It's true, it doesn't really fit on the sub, but women already have grants and scholarships. Affirmative action and special training and labor carve outs just for them. They get alimony and child support and welfare and housing, and so, so much. They don't need more handouts.

The best part of profiles posted here is we don't really need pictures. Just the prospect of being treated worse than dogs is enough to tear this one down. The picture and age just make it all the more ridiculous.

I love how on the surface this is one of those "not that bad" profiles, but then you look again. Now that she's a used up 35 year old and barely fitting into those yoga pants, she suddenly wants a traditional relationship. What (or who) has she been doing for the last 15 years or so?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought this sub was about women who consistently chose men not suitable for marriage up until they "hit the wall". Not exclusively. Then, while she is less desirable, does she choose to seek "good men" specifically for the purpose of a long term relationship/marriage. This is the highlight. It doesn't matter why they're single- unless it's truly something outside of their control, that is. For women, getting men is easy. Really easy. Men generally have very few re…

Basic math makes what you're suggesting unlikely. Pick a random man in a crowd of modern western men. What are the odds he's rolling in women? Pick a random lady in a crowd of modern western women. What are the odds she's overweight?

Until recently, these women at least tried to make their profiles pleasant, even if many of us could see through it. Now they openly insult their potential suitors. How far civilization has fallen.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen03/12/20 12:00 AM

The worst part about profiles like these is that even if they're fake, they're absolutely convincing. Says a whole lot about the modern woman.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen02/12/20 06:30 PM

I had just commented in another post about the anti slut shaming movement being so terrible for women, actually. Even if you're willing to accept that you shouldn't "slut shame", making it so no one calls these women out on this behavior at all makes them think there's no consequences for it. The moment anyone says "Sure you can do that, but you won't be able to have a normal life during or after.", they start screaming incel and misogyny. It's insanity.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen02/12/20 06:26 PM

Probably best to save it for the weekend, where the rules get a little more lax.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen02/12/20 06:21 PM

Honestly, at this point I just assume it's standard for modern women- doesn't mean they should be advertising it. All this pushback against "slut shaming" is not a good thing, it makes them think there's no consequences to it.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen02/12/20 06:19 PM

Stuff like this, that looks real, is why this subreddit is both so funny and so depressing at the same time. It'd be wonderful if we could say that this whole thing is an amusement sub and only for fun, but these are real people women on display.

Did you read past that point? I get the impression you didn't. But to answer the question- unless she murdered her husband, being widowed is out of her control. I don't hate women, and I don't blame them for things they can't control. However, I do blame her for her unrealistic standards now that she's in this situation.

You know what's crazy? Dating profiles are supposed to be like advertisements, supposed to show off your better qualities and what you offer. These women literally say they're sluts, crazy, damaged, and that they will never prioritize you, and still somehow get enough matches to complain about their matches. It really is a clown world.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen10/11/20 08:40 PM

Speaking as someone that's MGTOW for some time, I'd say that's an unhealthy reason to do it. MGTOW as a path is best chosen because you've elevated yourself above all those bad feelings and defeat- you're no longer interested in the nonsense of women and have moved on. Getting into it because you're still interested but think they're all terrible? That's very much a bitter reason to go into it, and bitterness festers and spreads. It'll stick with you and foul the whole thing.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen10/11/20 06:52 PM

Absolutely not. Scroll further up, someone else caught it. She says he knew about it and used to be okay with it, but now isn't. That's not typically how it works. She's leaving something out. Whatever it is, that's what's got him upset, and it's likely justified or she wouldn't be looking for workarounds.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen10/11/20 06:41 PM

Oh absolutely there's more to this story. I strongly suspect he was putting it out of sight/out of mind and ignoring it, buying into that whole "but I'm with you now!" line. But now she's getting offers and/or looking at the work again, and now it's getting uncomfortable for him. I've 100% seen that behavior before.

Don't get me wrong, the concept of this thread is a good thing. Getting anyone to stop and think and figure things out for themselves is always a good thing. I have to say, I disagree with much of this. 1 is a doosy. It's one thing to set goals and missions for yourself. Having both large and small goals is a must. It's another to say "pick your life purpose, but it doesn't have to be complex". Something like your purpose in life is a pretty serious thing to consider, if you're considering it, and should be treated as such. Already pointed out 3 is confusing, adding atheist to that. Unless you mean faith in one's self? 4 is good, but also as previous…

This is more a personal question, really. The amount of partners someone is comfortable with varies from person to person. I would say what makes a good man is avoiding hypocrisy- if you are not comfortable with her having many, you probably shouldn't either. On the other hand, many respectable men have also compared it to a key that opens many locks vs a lock that can be opened by many keys. I suspect that view would be generally less popular, though.

I think I just had a stroke trying to process that sentence. Why is it future tense? Does she intend to cheat? How is that love? Is she a widow? How does she know she'll meet someone new? If she's a widow, why not talk about the father? Is he dead but she's looking for someone new to have kids with? How does she know the new guy won't be good? None of that phrase makes any fucking sense!

Hardly any man wants a woman to act like a puritanian. There's a pretty wide margin between 'puritanian' and slut, though. I would dump her instantly if she didn't have sex with me early on. The concern there is; If she's willing to jump right into bed with you without vetting you, she's willing to jump into bed with anyone. Not only that, it means it's the only thing of value she offers. I'm more convinced by the ones that show real interest in my life, opinions, and hobbies first, personally…

In the interest of the new, vague, "no hate" rule, I'd personally phrase it a little differently. I would say it doesn't have to be "whatever we want", but instead "she has to list some of her own qualities, not just demands and requirements, and they should align with what we're looking for."
/r/WhereAllTheGoodMenAre01/10/20 07:11 PM

You're right. Seems like that's a theme these days, judging by all the socialist suggestions we've seen in the media in the last few years.

These women drive away good, family oriented men, and make others refuse to "grow up". So now you've got single mothers draining tax dollars and raising criminals, which requires even more tax dollars to deal with, while the men paying said taxes are angry about it, and often happy to take lower income/less taxed jobs. How long do you think society can survive like that?
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen30/09/20 04:54 PM

This is something that always, always leaves me flabbergasted about so many of these women. I always hear "Well I didn't know he was a jerk", or "It's not her fault, she can't see the future", but really. Nobody suddenly just turns into a this evil person overnight. The signs are always there, if you look for them. "What if he hides it?", they say. Nobody can hide it long, stop rushing into bed with these guys.

While it's true that the poor decisions are assumed and may not be the case, the sub rules say it's not a debate sub. More than that, contrary to belief, many of the men here are not incels and have experienced the very things that are being assumed. Is there a chance he died? Sure. Would I bet on it? Absolutely not. It's not like there's a war on, and covid isn't gender specific. While it's true that a lot of commenters are focusing on her weight, that's not why the profile is here. It's because she's 30 with 3 kids and suddenly looking for a stable relationship. You're supposed to find that before you have kids, not after. Worse, she probably wasn't overweight before the kids, so she literally gave her best years away before looking for a relationship. /r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen15/09/20 08:51 PM

As if a woman has to be a supermodel to get dates. If it's that bad, she's leaving out something significant.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen15/09/20 08:49 PM
25

Others have already piled on you, but I'll add this- If you take care of yourself, you're good looking, you're chaste and loyal, and you're a female so men are throwing themselves at you literally every second of your life... Why aren't you in a relationship? The answer to that question is why she's here.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen11/09/20 05:30 PM

She's well over 30, and the kind of guys who would entertain finding a trophy wife are likely going to be looking for younger women. She's got some stiff competition and is probably oblivious to it thinking she's still a 10 in her mind She clearly still thinks she's a 10 and has the attitude to match. Couple more years she'll be online wondering why no one will marry her.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen11/09/20 05:26 PM

Sure, there's a chance she was happily married and he went and died in the the middle east or on a construction site or something, and now she's a lonely widow looking to date again. I've got $100 bucks that says she's not. Would you take that bet?

the guy mostly stares into space now. doesn't talk like he used to. is just... broken. This bears highlighting. I've seen that condition. Like zombies, empty bodies just following the routine because it's all they have left. It's basically death. In some ways, worse than death. It's why I laugh when I hear someone say women are in any way disadvantaged. Nobody with the ability to do that to men is disadvantaged.

There's nothing wrong with being tall. There's plenty of taller people, and shorter people, available to date. It's been said here a lot, women have to work at it to be considered unattractive by everyone they meet. It's just a bad excuse.

For a lot of men, the blackpill really is an absolute. Sometimes genetics just deals an insurmountable hand. That's the truth. A woman doesn't have to try very hard to be attractive to men at all. Even overweight or ugly, unless you're massively so, will be completely overlooked if you're pleasant to be around. Alternatively, yes. Hot girls are given all sorts of free passes for terrible behavior, so if she got in shape she could keep the attitude. Most women can succeed (wildly) in dating simply by existing, it doesn't take any real effort. If a woman is having trouble, she's creating it herself.

I can't agree with this. While I've gone MGTOW, if I were in relationships, I'd owe it to her to be honest, faithful, monogamous, and so on, just as I'd expect her to owe me the same. Otherwise, we're no better than the women we complain about.

Your default mode is "women bad". Which to be fair, is generally true. However around here we're always saying women need to find a man when they're young and innocent, then stay loyal. I wasn't clear, myself. I meant, if you have to tell yourself you're an alpha, or tell yourself to do alpha things (for the relationship or otherwise), then you're faking, forcing, or at best putting in far more effort than the situation deserves. Especially because the one day you come home from work exhausted, tired, stressed, and don't project that image, you're done for.

To be fair, older women are (or were) raised differently, especially pre-social media. Treat all guns as if they're loaded isn't said because all guns are always loaded- that's impossible. It's said as a safety measure. AWALT is the same. Although a loaded gun probably is still safer than most women.

I'd say it's more about pointing out women's decision making much more than how they look. Choosing terrible men then complaining that men are terrible, regardless of being ugly. /r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen06/05/20 12:21 AM

This is the crux of the issue. Women literally get swamped with offers for 20+ years, nonstop. It's also a fact that men will date down, we have no problems dating someone with a mediocre career or handicaps or low IQ, and more. If a woman really can't find someone by the time she's in her 30's or 40's, there's something really really wrong with her.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen04/05/20 06:23 AM

Yeah, I was with her until she said she forgot that one time she did a porn video. You don't forget something like that unless your life is a blur of similar activities. Best case scenario, she lied to him about something she knew would upset him.

You don't forget you did a porn video if you only did it once and never did/do anything like that before or since. She either did it (or similar activities) so much that the forgot that ONE, or she straight up lied to him. Both are bad.

This one's right on the line. While the profile doesn't meet the rules obviously, it can be inferred. How did she make it to 43 without getting a husband, LTR, or a kid, despite being in shape (which puts her a peg above most women)? She's either incredibly picky and didn't list it, or has just been kicked off the carousel. Or worse. It's 100% possible to complain "there are no decent men" without saying it word for word.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen27/04/20 10:39 AM

That's the problem. Most of these so called feminists you're talking about are as ugly as they are annoying. So for them, life is as hard as it is for men. And that should say a lot- that a hard life for a woman is the same as something that men develop skills and personality to work towards.

I replied to somebody else with this as it was relevant to his story, but it probably could go here too, on the topic of shaming men; It's easy to point at girls like this and ask men why they would tolerate that, but girls like this are actually rare. I think this could also be summed up; There are plenty of places out there, on the TV and Internet and news and magazines, that highlight men's bad behavior. Lots to choose from. Some of us even browse them to avoid making the same mistakes. We don't need another one, this one's specifically for women's bad behavior.

If it's not too presumptuous of me, I'd say your tl:dr could be... Men want a pleasant, attractive female, full stop. Women want to mate with an attractive male but want to marry a different one for resources.

For me, the take away here isn't whether or not this is fake. It's the fact that even if it is fake, women are so terrible at this point that we can plausibly accept that it's real.

/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen28/02/20 10:50 PM

Absolutely we do. The difference is, we know our weight class. A single dad struggling to take care of his kids knows he's not going to bag a supermodel millionaire housewife. We also don't mind "dating down". She never went to college and works part time as a waitress and she's a little dumb? Not a problem if she's pleasant, loyal, and even a little bit attractive.

I won't knock her looks, or her age, or even her kid. No, none of that is even all that bad. But nowhere in that conversation, not once in her lists of wants and desires, did she even once mention anything she offers. Now those aforementioned things ARE a problem. Edit: In case I'm not clear, you present me with an overweight single mother that says "I saw in your profile you like X, I'd love to try that with you", and I'll say not bad at all. But demands? This is the truth of it. Short, fat, ugly, dumb- any or all of those things is fine, when you own it. Some Comedians make a career of it. But expecting perfect when you're not, that's not fine.

"treated like dirt, treated like a slut/whore/what have you" well are you? have you been slutting it up? whoring around? if you have then you have no right to complain about being treated that way. I can get behind certain 'socialist programs', social security, unemployment benefits- these are things that you theoretically have paid into already and now you need to use some of it. It's not one sided. I even support the idea of homeless shelters and certain assistance- provided the person being assited is putting forth an effort of some kind. But more and more we're giving money to people that haven't, and never will pay in. Not only does that mean those of us paying have to pay more to cov…

I liked it, I thought it was a fitting end for the series and a fitting sendoff for Tony Stark. The writing is definitely on the wall though, the future of these films is very feminist. Between the constant girl power scenes, Captain Marvel, and all the daughters in this one, it's clear where they're going. And my complaint isn't a woman hating thing- it's hating making decisions for feminists. In the comics when Tony finally had a kid, it was a boy. Not a girl. We've been mostly consistent carr…

Can't say I disagree with that, but let's face it- the Avengers, Blade, Ironman... These were all B and C list (at best) characters that were made successful. They could have done the same with Captain Marvel if not for all the identity politics getting attached.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen06/03/19 04:24 AM

What's sad is that this is a character and storyline that go back years. Shit like this was never an issue with the character or story, and Marvel typically makes good, interconnected stuff. For that, I'll probably see it on DVD. But if they keep ruining good story and character experiences by dragging their identity politics shit into it, I'm gonna be pissed.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. I'll never knock a person for their looks (sometimes that's harder than other times to stick to), but when they don't bother to develop personality or skills or work ethic or anything else to make up for it... That's just unforgivable.

That's some classic "ride the carousel then secure a Billy Bank afterwards" right there. Like, a textbook example. I can't believe people defend that behavior.

"Why do people dismiss #MeToo?" They ask. Why don't people believe them, they ask. Why do men get away with this, they ask. This. This is why.

They watch those stupid vampire movies and Sex and the City and everything with Mathew Mchaunawho in it and think that men like those exist in real life. Dude's an ACTOR. His ONLY attribute is his looks. The rest of that is made up for the movie, but they think it's real.

I'll rarely, if ever, knock someone down for their looks. I'm no looker myself. But if you're a single mother, only using pictures and nothing else to hook interest, those pictures had better be amazing. These aren't.

"Mistake". I love how they call it that. As if they accidentally took off their clothes and accidentally fell on Chad's dick. "I tripped on the edge of the rug and now I'm pregnant! This is a mistake!"

They are setting these girls up for failure. It's like a man saying he doesn't fear being shot because others have managed to survive being shot in the head. It really is like that. It's crazy, and I'm constantly blown away that they don't see it as such.

You said yourself, "To discriminate based on race is racism." Again, I read this as her thinking the BBC isn't good enough (if you can call a beta provider "good enough") to marry. If that's correct, it is racism. I'm not the only one that's read it as such. Either way, I'm sure we can both agree that she's pretty gross for her behavior in general, and leave it at that.

My racism accusation is based on the (perhaps incorrect) presumption that she just wants the black guy for sex, but not for the said engagement, which is presumably to another race or she wouldn't be looking for another black guy. Discrimination in who she marries.

Women should be afraid of sexbots. As someone else said, the early adopters are going to be so called "low quality" men, but even those guys are often orbiters or at the very least white knights and the like. Women will see less and less of that. More importantly, those guys are going to prove that there's a market and provide the funding to advance these things rapidly to the point where the so called "high quality" men will also want them. That's when the entire dating and relationship scene w…

I firmly believe that profiles like this are troll posts. Not fake- she's probably a real person that posted this, but she's not actually looking to date the people she says she is. It's less about being picky and more that she just wants to see how many guys will message her, thus boosting her ego.

The comments, what a joke. So many qualifiers and conditions to be met, otherwise it's creepy or harassment. Women: Spend a year trying to ruin the lives of men, punishing them for interacting with you, then wonder why no men will interact with you. You can't make up that kind of stupid.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen02/10/18 05:27 PM

I dunno. I thought it was right on the line- instead of complaining about being single, she had to find a beta after hitting 30 and having cats. Wasted her youth throwing away a marriage over stupid stuff.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen28/09/18 11:47 AM

Bingo, this. If the prostitutes offered something more than just sex- virtually anything more, even decent conversation- they wouldn't fear being replaced by a bit of plastic and metal. If they truly offered "healthy interaction with women" like the article claims, a doll couldn't remotely compete with them. The fact is, these things aren't just replacing prostitutes, they're replacing all women, for the exact same reason.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen26/09/18 10:38 AM

This is absolutely true. If you don't get a lot in your 20's, you're not going to get a lot in your 30's. Women only care about looks. But, their attitudes towards you in general do change, because now you might have money.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen26/09/18 10:31 AM

Absolutely. It's telling that it's apparently easier for them to try to get technology banned than it is for them to develop things like personality or loyalty.

It's so fucked up that we live in the world that people can behave like this and think it's how you attract someone to you. Further proves that women really do have it ridiculously easy and waste what they have.

That's the best part about shit like this. Most men would be completely happy with a woman that had any two of these qualities, and the flaws wouldn't be an issue at all. Give me humble and loyal, and I wouldn't care if she were broke and dumb, I could work with that.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen16/09/18 09:07 PM

Pretty, loyal, cooperative, and safe? Most women can't offer that. They could cheat, carry STDs, and so on. Not to mention they don't age, won't get pregnant, or complain or divorce? Can't blame women for not liking these. Soon enough AI will give them personalities and women will be in real trouble.

That's why it doesn't exist. Two people putting the same amount of effort into the same job will make the same amount of money. Women rarely put in that effort, so they don't make as much. They take time off for different things, or quit entirely, or get a "gender studies" degree. That's not a wage gap, that's simple logic. Me not making as much money as a architect because I changed careers into security because I liked it better isn't a wage gap. But I think all of us here realize this.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen06/08/18 03:21 AM

I love this stuff. First there's a wage gap. Women need to get paid as much as or more than men! It's only fair! Adjust schools and jobs to give women preferential treatment to balance it out (I've never seen evidence of a wage gap). Now there's no men earning more than us and we have no one to marry, because we require men to earn more than us or they're not good enough!

Like many other words in recent history, being repurposed to mean things a lot less tame than what they actually mean. "That guy is looking at you." "Ugh, creepy." "That hot guy is looking at you." "Really? Where?"
