I think companies like Google, Facebook are more 'liberal' and since younger people tend to work at these places, being single, gay, weird, etc aren't looked down upon as long as you're good at what you do and lets face it, if you work at google you're probably very good. old boy industries like insurance, oil, steel aren't too keen on being new and liberal
