I like to think about Sinatra, he married 4 times. 1 was Ava Gardner whom he never stopped loving they say. It's normal we all go through it even the Chairman of the Board.

1st the fact that women don't want to date a serial dater, they want relationships. So unless you have serious game you'll likely be left alone.

/r/Divorce_Men16/08/22 04:47 AM

I can relate too but it gets better. Learn how to forgive her and still be friends. You have a chance to succeed, your not a failure. Give it some time then pick yourself up and kick some ass out there. Btw it took me 2 1/2 years to feel normal again.
/r/Divorce_Men12/08/22 03:18 PM

I been there. Felt like such a big deal to us. Kids just move on they don't have the same connection. Be cool man, it'll be ok.

Yeah it's crazy to see. She was such a super mom in the early days. I still care about her and try to include her. I'm hoping she turns out to be an better grandma than a mom.

Time will tell. I kept the house after she left with the coworker. She came by for dinner during the week and had weekends. Eventually she stopped coming, the coworker went back to his ex. Now the kids just want to stay with me. She's lucky to stop by for dinner every couple weeks.
/r/Divorce_Men05/08/22 01:32 PM

Awe I'm sorry for your loss. God Bless
/r/Divorce_Men25/07/22 11:19 AM

Don't waste too much time grieving. It's still your life, don't waste it. There life post divorce/break up. There no secret potion to feel better but time and we all go through it. How you handled it after the smoke clears is what you'll judge yourself by. Steady man, go through the motions, the pain will ease up over time.

Man I made it past it all. Don't worry fellas kids will grow up fast. Continue your life like you know it's going to be alright. Cause it is. You might even do this a couple times in your life. Don't laugh plenty of guys have done it and still kicked ass. What's done is done, treat her with respect, she's your baby mama now. It's OK to be cool with her but your done with that.
/r/Divorce_Men18/07/22 03:40 AM
2

I'm truly sorry. Seems like we all go through this. I tried and failed getting any ex back. What I learned is the flesh loves pain as they say. You'll dwell on it for awhile then it becomes habit to think about it. When it hits your thoughts shut it down. Turn on the news, music, anything. Don't dwell on it and try to have your best life.
/r/Divorce_Men07/07/22 02:10 AM

Same but the Dude ran a year later. Now she's lost everything.

/r/Divorce_Men05/07/22 03:46 AM

The turnaround for me was forgiving her in my own mind for what she did. I decided I'll do what it takes to be civil. I was friendly, invited her for dinner with the kids. It turned out pretty nice actually. I'd say we're friends now and root for each other. It was painful as dating separated is impossible but really all dating is impossible. I'm divorced now and there is zero difference. Still impossible lol. Good luck man..
/r/Divorce_Men02/07/22 03:22 PM
2

I waited till the kids were over 18.

Haha yeah I remember asking her to give it a break. Stop trying to aggravat me. She said it was a trait. I broke up with her, couldnt take it. That was 3 years ago, don't think I've felt that way since.

Try those bobo tea places. Starbucks. My teen is a sucker for that, little store runs. Missions we call them. Ask her what she likes or might want to try. Also check out some Anime on Netflix, Dragon slayer, Way of the house husband my favorite stuff like that. Try and figure out what she likes.

Going to be pricey to move and whatever you find will eat up your profit from a sale. I might try to stay and refinance.
/r/Divorce_Men05/06/22 02:42 PM

In order to lose the anger you have to look at it from another perspective and find Forgiveness. Gotta find a way to see what happened and forgive her for her mistakes. She wont give you that but you can see it. Forgiveness is the key to letting go and moving on and being friends or at least friendly.
/r/Divorce_Men04/06/22 09:49 PM
2

No advise but it sounds like your a good Dude. Steady man, persistence you got this.
/r/Divorce_Men03/06/22 11:13 PM

If you want to spend time with your kids you have to be cool. If you gotta be fake nice then do that. Complain on your own time.
/r/Divorce_Men13/05/22 10:36 PM
2

Looks like your going to have to stay friends. Coparenting is a challenge don't make things worse than they are by doing or saying something you'll regret. Trust that God has a plan and the child could be the most important person in your life. It'll be ok man, good luck.
/r/Divorce_Men12/05/22 12:38 PM
2

Yep me too
/r/Divorce_Men05/05/22 02:29 AM

You gotta see it from another perspective. She's your kids mom, your childhood friend. Try and forgive her, be cool. You still care about her. Your friends for life so work It out. You'd be surprised she's probably got your back. Many years ahead make em good
/r/Divorce_Men03/05/22 02:07 AM
1

Yes it'll get better. Keep working doing the right thing. Make good decisions. Your best days are ahead.
/r/Divorce_Men03/05/22 01:17 AM
2

Right it's super hard to forgive when she's begging for it. Steady man, you'll figure it out.
/r/Divorce_Men28/04/22 05:20 AM
4

Don't hate the player, hate the game. Better get your game face on you want to date a fine woman.
/r/Divorce_Men28/04/22 02:32 AM
1

Yeah for sure. The only way to proceed is to find a way to forgive her. Almost gotta feel sorry for her. She had you back. She knows how to mess stuff up. Fixing maybe not.
/r/Divorce_Men28/04/22 02:28 AM
1

Man that's tough. Either way it turns out you get hurt. Sorry brother 😞 Good Luck
/r/Divorce_Men28/04/22 01:50 AM

Also there are usually a lot of lovely ladies that shop estate sales.
/r/Divorce_Men27/04/22 12:00 PM

I look for electronic test equipment. They never know what the stuff is. Resale is good and it's fun.
/r/Divorce_Men27/04/22 11:56 AM
1

I go to estate sales on weekends and buy stuff to resell on ebay.
/r/Divorce_Men27/04/22 10:03 AM
2

Fogivness works. Once I decided to forgive her for leaving I felt better and, because I wasn't exacting revenge she trusted me again. Now we co parent and everyone is happy. Now I apply forgiveness whenever I can.
/r/Divorce_Men25/04/22 05:13 PM
5

Steady man. Keep you cool it'll pay off in the end.
/r/Divorce_Men25/04/22 10:03 AM
4

She's making his life miserable right now. Lol that's perfect. I just heard my ex complaining her new Dr boyfriend drives her crazy. Sounds like he's going through what I did.
/r/Divorce_Men25/04/22 10:01 AM
2

Having expeditions and getting angry. You have to ride out the storms. Stupid arguments mean nothing and are forgotten, what's said during is what lasts a lifetime.
/r/Divorce_Men24/04/22 09:38 PM

I thought this was it lol
/r/Divorce_Men14/04/22 03:01 AM

/r/Divorce_Men11/04/22 04:45 PM

Yeah sorry for your loss and pain. Don't do anything, they likely don't care. Good luck stay strong sounds like your making progress.
/r/Divorce_Men11/04/22 03:24 PM

In the end that guy will dump her, you'll see. Everything will come out. Keep your cool and let karma do the work.

1

You should pay it.
/r/Divorce_Men31/03/22 09:22 PM
2

Haha, estaesales.net is a great site. Also you can check local farm auctions in your state. They are whole house sales so you can wander around, plenty time to bump into ladies. I've even done 1st dates at a sale. It's all supervised and safe so gals feel safe. Bonus is if you find something you can make some cash.
/r/Divorce_Men27/03/22 12:55 AM
1

I like to hit estate sales and find treasures and sell them on eBay. Kind of a picker thing I guess. Good side hustle. Only small items I can ship. Antiques. Bonus is lots of ladies like estate sales too so give it you a chance to meet a nice gal. Can at least work on your flirt game while your there!
/r/Divorce_Men26/03/22 02:29 PM
1

Years, long time. After a couple years I met someone but she left too. Now I'm good just doing my own thing.
/r/Divorce_Men21/03/22 01:50 AM
2

Man sorry this happened. Sadly it happens to most. Seems like time stands still but try and get your routine back. Enjoy some freedom. Try to be a Monday night quarterback and invision how you best want to handle this for the family. Be strong, take the lead at being cool headed. She's your baby mama and it only can work if your being cool. Good luck man
/r/Divorce_Men25/02/22 03:11 AM
1

Just gotta accept it. Stay friends. It's OK to care about your ex. She's still family, keep it together and co parent. If she's healthy it's better for the kids so find a way to forgive her choices and take the lead making good choices.
/r/Divorce_Men13/02/22 12:37 AM
4

It's a fact it takes men longer to get over heartbreak. We actually never get over it study says. We just move on. So hard though..
/r/Divorce_Men07/02/22 10:43 AM
2

Forgiveness got me there too with my ex. Then I fell for another girl and lost her. Trying to forgive her too.
/r/Divorce_Men07/02/22 10:40 AM
2

I mean I wouldn't expect her to take my tools, guns and stuff. I guess I didn't care about anything else.
/r/Divorce_Men05/02/22 08:15 PM
2

Awe man sorry
/r/Divorce_Men05/02/22 11:58 AM

Just leave. Let her take what she wants. Be cool and let the day pass. 8 years your lucky, I did 20.
/r/Divorce_Men05/02/22 11:57 AM

You'll eventually divorce.
/r/Divorce_Men03/02/22 10:05 PM

Dude you're crazy. So if you divorce her you'll just pay her in support payments. I think you should pay up and learn to enjoy dinner.
/r/Divorce_Men03/02/22 08:37 PM
1

You probably have codependency issues now after trying to make her happy. Read up on it. Good luck to you!
/r/Divorce_Men28/01/22 02:14 AM
3

Mee too. Sometimes I think of her and I wonder why. I've heard it's because it becomes habitual and your brain just wanders there. When it happens tell yourself no and think of something else.
/r/Divorce_Men21/01/22 08:10 PM

Act like you dont care.

Haha tight Jean's! Ok got it. Thanks for the tip
/r/seduction19/10/20 10:03 PM

You say, "Ok Thanks, have a great day" I mean it's ok for you to say no as well. It's not personal. How many left swipes do you make? Either way you took your shot, were all hunting.
