The minority that do are pretty vocal about it online and off, and everyone sees that, and it reflects badly on feminists as a whole. Its the same with incels. Most don't hate women or feel that they are owed sex, or even participate in red pill spaces or listen to Andrew Tate for that matter. But the minority that hold extremist and/or misogynistic views do vocalize their opinions online and off. People take notice and lump all involuntarily celibate men in with these bad apples.

I think a more likely explanation is that men are on average, more sloppy and more fine with a messier/dirtier living space than women. Men clean up their place to an acceptable level of cleanliness (according to them), but this level of cleanliness may be lower than the acceptable level for women. As a result, women have to put in more effort to clean the place than men to raise the cleanliness level to their own standards. Men may be reluctant in helping beyond their own standard of "clean", w…

got conscripted for 2 years ^ Worst of all, some women think guys who have not gone through conscription are not "real men". To be excused from conscription, you would need to have some pretty extreme circumstances such as being deaf, blind, partially or fully paralyzed or having cancer/some serious illness or psychosis/severe OCD, etc.

During the 2 years, we get some dental and medical subsidies. And an allowance of 700~1.2k sgd per month (full time fnb workers make 2.4k/month) Guys get a very slightly higher starting salary in government jobs (which women are complaining about 🤣) I think that's about it? Also, we have to come back every year for in camp training for up to 2 weeks, up till 40 years old.

You're right that you should make the best use of your prime years to secure the best man you can get. But "securing" implies locking him down. The higher you fly, the harder (and more likely) you'll fall. A 150k income puts one at around the top 15% in the US. What do you offer that is deserving of a top 15% income guy? If you have nothing but your looks to offer, you'd better make sure you can remain > 8.5/10 FOR LIFE. Which is impossible, because looks fade in women while rich men only get ri…

Cool question, I'll take a stab. Women offer the possibility of an LTR/sex. The possibility of LTR/sex in and of itself has value, the same way a lottery ticket has a certain value. Sure, you probably won't win anything, but the possibility of winning something at all creates value. You are offering the same things: the possibility of LTR/sex to her, on top of treating her to the dinner. Seems unfair, doesn't it? Then why are men still willing to make that trade? It means that they either: Think…

The main argument against unconditional love is that romantic love directed towards a single person is by definition conditional on that person being that person. If love is unconditional, it must be universal. If I place no restrictions on the subset of things which I love, then that subset is universal. Here are a list of restrictions that you don't realize that you put on Mary: must be human must be a girl must be Mary These are your conditions for loving. Even if you argue that we should res…

If your question is why does anyone get defensive at all when answering these questions, it's probably because they want to be viewed as socially desirable. Saying you date for money or looks will earn the contempt and disgust of the holier-than-thou majority which makes up society. Perhaps on average, women are evolutionarily programmed to care more about social desirability than men? Just my guess.

You're not getting the guy's point. He's saying LTRs = marriage in some places, at least legally speaking. So if you are against marriage, you should be against LTRs if you live in these areas.
