I remember stumbling into this space years ago, not much older than you. I went searching after it seemed like many guys on Facebook were communicating in some secret language they all seemed to share… This was when ther3dp!// was still on Reddit before their own website. I think the key here is that she wants something *different than what you have to offer or appear to offer. Not necessarily *better. EX: Personally, based on my appearance and upbringing I think men assume I require a six pack Chad with an MBA at minimum and subconsciously write me off. Another commenter touched on this a bit. I can agree to a certain extent. However, I think that perspective is largely from internalized anger of their own rejection. They try for a 6, she rejects them and they assume it’s because she wants a 10. Or has such specific attraction points and things she looks for. Same thing for many of these guys that claim they require certain traits for “LTR” material. When in reality, it may just come down to “she’s not that into you.”

Female here! I have one long- term male friendship that I value more than many other friendships I’ve had with women (7+ years).
