My kids are 9 and 12. The kids and their mom currently have a really healthy loving relationship, and yeah. I might shoot you a pm sometime.

If I do more homeschooling, I work less and can't afford to... then the schedule would be backwards. My kids are 9 and 12... if they feel they can get out of it, they will try.

Damn man. I'm sorry you're situation is like that, especially for the kids if it's as you say. But she needs to know that you both need to be on board with discipline practices.

I've been trying to only focus on the things I can control. Unfortunately I can't take that much time away to just get away. I will try to write out a list, I like that idea.. because obviously saying it to her would be moot. I've been trying to find hobbies, but at the moment, I homeschooling them. So during the day I homeschooling, and try to keep up on the house and cleaning and maintenance, and then at night I work from home currently to make ends meet, but it's difficult because... responsi…

Sorry to hear that man. And yes, they do seem to. And they go straight the fuck to their SINGLE friends if they don't already have a dude in mind to fall back on. Single life starts to look good. Fucking of course it does, it requires zero fucking effort.

I'll defend my wife here though, she said she wants the same for them as I do, and I believe her. I just think it's selfish, and she doesn't realize what it's actually going to do to them. But her bigger concern is what it's going to do for HER. one of us is going to lose a healthy relationship with the kids, and that's not fair to ANY of us. It's fucking bullshit.

The funny part is, that we both get along really well. She's moved out 2 weeks ago, but has been staying yhebweekends to help pack, etc... we get along good, have sex, good sex! And we just told our kids last night that we are separating. I backed her and told them it was mutual. I really do want her happy, but I'm upset that she only wants to look for the happiness after moving out. Kind of ass backwards, but it seems to be the stigma of modern women. Idk. I'm letting her go, as peacefully as p…

It's incredible how alike alot of men's stories are.

Duuude. That's it. They quit looking for happy in marriage, and once they are out.... THEN they start looking for happiness. And then we get shamed for recognizing that.

Yeah, it just sucks that society has taken the value out of fighting for marriage. Like... it's okay to give up!

I'll definitely try to learn to meditate, I really need to get a better grasp on it to learn it. And I'll for sure pick up the weights.

I agree. Men have to be the ones to hold shit together, I mean we don't have to, but there is always an underlined stigma that says... it's our job. The more I read others stories, it's seems that alot of wife's just get tired and want something new, and then... just do it. It is bullshit in my opinion, but then again... if you don't feel happy, you do you boo.

I do plan to travel more, with and without the kids..kidd... but I've never really traveled alone, aside from work stuff. Not really, not without the anxiety. And yeah, I have a plan to start working out more often, and maybe even join a softball team again this summer. Just trying to figure out how to get some of that weight off my brain faster. Lol.

I appreciate that. I have recently started a gym membership. I've been wanting to bulk a little anyways. Seems like a good opportunity. I'm already in decent shape... 6"0 and 185 lbs on a good day, but I'd like to eventually see about 200

Oh yes, I know what I need to do. Just looking for advice on how others were able to stop focusing so much on it.

Fuuuuuck yea, that's exactly how it is.! Man up, be a husband... but wifes... you can leave if you arent happy. Courts will side with her... it's all unfair for men in the long run, buy I suppose some women feel the same. No longer "till death do us part", it is now "till I dont want to try any longer do us partç.

I can see your point, but I still love her, I havent loved her the way she needed and the mistakes I've made just added to that. I chase her because I still value her. Shes legit a really great person and I genuinely enjoy her company. I just wish I had learned s Alot that I know now much long ago. I plan to continue to work on myself, and I still hope that she sees my changed behavior patterns, and hope that she can believe that she can trust me again, and hope that she knows I'm now able to pr…

I never had the flirting with me, I craved it. I always enjoyed flirting with others, so my logic was that flirting can be fun for others. I always asked my wife to flirt with me, but she rarely did. But I didnt give her what she was asking for so what reason would she have to give it to me?

I have made several mistakes in my life with my wife putting us where we are... atleast I see it that way. And your probably right... and there is much more to the story, which is why it's hard to be so 1uick to act.

I have read and learned that women love you for who they want you to be. If you stop being what they want to be in love with, they lose what they think is their connection. You've started changing I to what she wants again, therefore more desirable. This is my opinion... based on recent experience.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
