I thought it was painful? How did they cut into your ballsack without you feeling anything? (if you don't mind a random redditor inquiring about your ball sack)

Seriously fuck these virtue signaling billionaires. You saying that is virtue signalling, because you are better than them right? Initial studies of UBI have found results that indicate people don't work less when they receive it, so your prediction are against the evidence. Also, not all of us are motivated by getting out "basic needs" met. Some people love what they do, and those that don't will be freed to pursue something they find more meaningful.

I'm going to need stats that prove nasa has a feminist hiring policy, this isn't enough to go on.

Saying Christianity has pro-civilisation values is a bit of a stretch. It's the reforms to Christianity that happened due to the Enlightenment and science that move civilisation forward. Science is pro civilisation and Christianity has thankfully been revised over and over by science. Many great scientists were Christians, but many of their beliefs are now known not to be true, thanks to science. A few examples: Evolution disproving the creation myth in Genesis. Women being confined to the home …

Talking about extinction as a consequences is pretty overblown seeing has most of the world still lives in poverty and wouldn't be able to afford one of these things. Development of the third world will take generations and even in the developed world people aren't going to suddenly stop their social habits and as you say validation from.a real woman is part of the reason men seek sex. It's about having a balanced view of the issue. As sexbots become more advanced they will become more popular a…

This is pretty short sighted. In their current form, sure that is all they are but it won't be long before the AI chips are advanced enough to simulate a real relationship and create ideal conversation partners who are more knowledgeable, witty, kind (emulating kindness not real kindness) and customisable to your personality and interests than a real person. A replacement for relationships is far more than discovering a new form of masturbation. Not to mention artificial wombs which will make th…

I'm surprised so many people are complaining about boring non-drinkers while no one here has mentioned that alcohol is a potent carcinogen. I went on a Buddhist retreat weekend and we had an amazing time with 0 alcohol. The "non-drinkers are boring" claim can actually be the opposite, if you need alcohol to make you an interesting person maybe you are the one who is boring?

I'm sick of people reducing gender to genitals. We have different brains, genes, hormones, immune systems, muscles, bone structure etc. I'm not a woman with a cock lol.

He is the new Ed Snowden. Google are an amazing company but bowing to political correctness is a weakness. A meritocratic company will out-compete them if they don't sort this out. They are trading positive public image by giving in to feminism in exchange for lower quality tech and less qualified employees.

Part of Buddhism is questioning the Buddha's teachings and finding out yourself if they work in your own life. He said to do this himself, so it's much less dogmatic than Christianity. I've been attending for a few years and there is no pressure to say you are a Buddhist or to conform, so there is no pressure to pretend you believe something when you don't. I can't think of anyone there who is a "phoney", seeing as I myself don't consider myself a Buddhist but I find the teachings stimulating, i…

What if there is no audience and it's just you and that person? I have a history buff friend who I often raise various issues I've been reading about with him to state my new opinion so that he can attack it and debunk it. I suppose it depends how you are defining "debate". I think I certainly do enter debates to see if the person can provide reasons for why I am wrong, that way I can update my opinion and make progress on the ever present quest towards truth. Like testing software. Learning is …

I addressed the issue of reverse aging being only for the wealthy. If cancer rates went down massively, why would that make chemo drugs go up? There will be better drugs than chemo developed anyway. The vast majority of medical costs are for elderly people. I know there are diseases that affect the young, I have one myself.

In that case you must believe we are going extinct because it is inevitable. Your theories are baseless and you haven't address any of the positive effects I have described in my post.

90% of people in the western world die from diseases of old age. People wont have to pay for chemo because they wont get cancer in the first place because they will have the body of a young person and cancer rates skyrocket as your body ages.

waton, what device are you using right this very second? Are computers only available to the "elite". What about your car? Or literally. any. other. technology. known. to. mankind. Learn basic economics. Things start off expensive then then massively cheaper as they become viable for mass production. Yes, people will want to make money from it. That is the entire point, they will sell it to as many people as possible. Regarding your second point, your brain is 100% physical. If reversing aging h…

Exactly. One third of the triple gem in Buddism is the sangha. Sanga is friendship, real friendship. I attend a local Buddhist center and one of the main things they teach is the importance of friendship. It works, I have more great friends there than I ever did in school and they are all a really good influence on me. Many of them live together. Epicurus also knew this and stated a commune with his friends, it was a huge success: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kg_47J6sy3A

Neither gender will need the other anymore. Men wont need women due to artificial wombs and sex bots. Women wont need men due to equal opportunity and the welfare state. Having said that women will be the ones needing men more. Because they crave emotional connection more due to the way their brains evolved to attain emotional bonds to secure a man to secure themselves. It's also more important to a woman's sexual arousal that the man be excited and into them, whereas the man doesn't care as muc…

I think this needs more careful analysis. How many viewers watch the different programs they are in? How many female applicants are there compared to male applicants? As a TV organization they have pressure to hire roughly equal numbers of men and women so people can't accuse them of sexism in that regard. Meaning, unlike most professions, is reasonable to to specifically seek a male or female presenter whereas in most jobs the gender wouldn't be relevant. If there are more female applicants to …

The problem is your sample. Most redditors aren't "average". We are younger than the average age and probably have higher than average educational standards even for the West.

This is great. It shows that men are the delusional ones. There is no "women are wonderful" effect as red pill claims. It's quite the opposite. Men are considered better just for being men. It doesn't show that. Maybe the sterotype exists for a reason, because men usually are better at it. It could show that men are better observers and so their experience of women being worse at it, means they become selective against women over time. Even though this causes them to make errors from time to tim…

This is an attack on currency, the economy and the entire civilized world. It's making the claim that money is not fungible. A white mans money is worth less than a black woman's money because the black woman had to work harder for it. It. will. not. work and sets a dangerous precedent.

I see. So if an impoverished abuse victims restrained themselves and chose not to have sex until their 20s they could still have bad relationship success because of their background, because the early sex wasn't what caused it. You're right it would be interesting to see a study that accounted for those factors. I can't imagine good parents ever advising their 12 year old to go and have sex though. It may not be the cause but there's no way to separate it from a bad/unfortunate upbringing.

Interesting points, but I don't understand. The woman who first has sex in her 20s has different values than the one who had it at age 12 - yes of course. Isn't the argument that those values may be better because it has all the positive effects mentioned in the video? I.e. Having sex later is a sign of good values that improve your life. I'm sure it is influenced by class. But why is that an argument to have sex earlier? Surely if people with better education, more stable families, less drug ad…

Firstly Eugenics is inevitable. With genetic engineering that will wipe out genetic diseases it should and will become illegal not to have the enhancements. That means people who don't believe in the treatment wont be allowed to have children. The enhancements wont end there. Soon enough we will be increasing intelligence, cock size, boob size, strength, modifying sexuality, personality etc. It will be a difficult discussion to have about which improvements should be mandatory, if any, and which…

I agree with everything you said and I also am a fan of Stefan Molyneux, who made a video explaining that the fewer sexual partners a person has, the longer their LTR/marriage will last, the better off their kids will be, the better sex they will have and the happier they will be. Here's the video for those interested: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=um3EmS9DKsI&t=4s It's a pretty compelling case against casual sex and I think it should be taught in schools. I was basically given the impression …

We don't live in a Patriarchy. There have been plenty of female Queens and there are lots of powerful female political leaders today. I wouldn't want to live in either a Patriarchy or Matriarchy because it means that society is stupid enough to give power to people based on their gender. I chose a third option, meritocracy.

It's a huge and very serious problem. The educated classes in the West are reproducing less, while the backwards third-worlders are reproducing like mad. This is a major threat to civilization and the progress of humanity. These things are under threat: Scientific research, technology, music and the arts, our culture, entertainment, advancement of knowledge, space exploration etc. All the wonderful things our Western civilization has given us. Rich, attractive countries with lax immigration poli…

I think this is an interesting notion. Beauty is a form of biological wealth. It could be argued that a very physically beautiful person has less pressure to develop valuable emotional qualities such as empathy. Hence the "dumb blond" stereotype.

How far in the future? We should have made good progress on reverse-aging in a few decades (and more and more in the decades to follow) so people will hopefully start looking younger though medical treatment that reverse-ages their whole body!

They need to be learning about themselves and what makes them happy, fast. They need to decide whether they have discovered a skill/passion that can translate into a career they want to focus on or whether they would prefer to raise children, or some kind of balance between the two. The important thing is "know thyself" - this is the most important piece of knowledge they should be developing because it will help guide all of their decisions.

Yes but why do the other girls care? Because it tells them about your status in the eyes of guys. I.e. if you are more attractive to guys, girls will notice that and your status among them goes up too because they want to hang around you because you will attract more attractive guys into your social circle. So the whole 'girl social matrix' thing is actually about guys as well, just indirectly.

Genetics is what sets your upper limit, your max. Education is what makes you reach that limit. It's not as simple as that. Other environmental factors influence your genetic expression such as nutrition or exposure to infections.

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll look into it. I have tried many things. The doctor says the infection is gone and that its an immune system problem that was triggered by it. I did hear of a guy who ate dozens of cloves of garlic per day and claimed it cured him lol.

Maybe crippled is a slightly strong word but it's stunting my life pretty badly. After being diagnosed with lyme disease and treated with antibiotics which cured the infection, I started getting really, really tired (while at Uni). I used to swim 50 lengths x3 a week as well as go on long walks. I found had to do smaller and smaller amounts of exercise until I was exhausted even if I didn't leave the house. I couldn't read my textbooks anymore either due to mental exhaustion. I had to drop out a…

Keep telling yourself that. I was a fighting fit 21 year old who hiked 550 miles on the Appalachian trail and wrote a 50k word book about it at the same time. I got lyme disease from a tick bite and have now been crippled for almost 7 years. I also had a burst appendix which happened for unknown reasons, not my fault at all. Your health is not fully under your own control.

This kind of thing completely puts me off MGTOW. This just shows you are mentally ill, or emotionally very immature and lacking in life experience and empathy. You want other people to suffer because you are angry. Just listen to yourself, you are a manic.

If you're coming here regularly to 'boost your resolve' or something, then the penny probably hasn't really dropped yet for you. I come here to learn. Like today from reading this sub I came up with the idea that Universal Basic Income will damage the family unit even further and reduce the birth rate in the western world even more. Because one of the main motivations for women to marry is to "capture" a provider either with a child or a marriage certificate, or both. If the state becomes the pr…

I'd say that the reason it's rational to be MGTOW is because the chance of finding a "good" relationship are so incredibly low. It's simply not worth the time, effort, money, stress and even heartbreak (if you have to go through one or more bad relationship to find the good one) so that if you are single and MGTOW then it's better to stay that way. But if what seems to be a "good" relationship has fallen out of the sky for you, then I'd say stay in it even though it could go bad in the future. J…

Not me, I actually love all the women in my family and respect and feel good about my female friends. It's the long-term marriage or general life-bond between men and women that I don't want. I don't want to start a family, I want to do other things, so what is the point?

When I got stuck in a rut age 21 I did a 550 mile hike of the Appalachian trail. I did it alone and wrote a book while doing it. It really turned my life around. After I got back I had a couple of friends who were not happy with their lives either so I advised them to go on a hike like me. They did the Camino de Santiago in Spain and it also helped them see life in a new way and get inspired about life. They also made some amazing friends. So that's one thing you could do! :)

Thanks and that's interesting, I suppose I would need to study primitive societies in order to really find the truth about religions effect on the family unit. I just thought that in hunter gatherer societies or tribes there was a lot of polygamy, where the king/chief would have a big harem and so there was no family unit back then.
