Do what the hell you want. Just don't expect others to sign off on your behaviour. I assume if you're ridden the cock carousel that you also enjoy playing sexual roulette. It is a new age but there are enough old fashioned men out there who don't want any part of it.

What Time should do in its next person of the year awards is put the spotlight on someone who has fought the good fight against militant feminism. The latter's a scourge and embarrassment.

What a complete, irredeemable a-hole. Surely, someone on the street nearby reminds her frequently of her status.

This is just more tinder for a wider Iraqi firestorm. The Kurds have tried to stay out of most of the nonsense but are being drawn in aggressively.

" Sex should, ideally, only occur between people of equal power." Good luck with that. In what period in history was that ever true? And is it true now? When you try to parse something as emotionally riven as sex you're not going to get any of the syntax right.

Well, isn't that special? Hmmm. and one way we know women are the weaker sex? They disproportionately support the election of progressive governments and progressive leaders. Progressivism, strong on suppression and control, always leads to the creation of authoritarian states and we're well on the way, thanks to women.

The University of Toronto. What a waste of space. But it's got pull and it's got connections. They count. What should not be forgotten here and I've got a great memory is the fact this institution made the news years and years ago on a topic similar to this where the U of T governors caved in to an aggressive female lobby there to haul a professor up on the carpet for "ogling." He'd been seen near the U of T pool and his crime was to have looked when women were in it.

Feminism remains a hate movement, where zealots not moderates rule. As long as feminists insist on special status, equality is impossible.

You've got quite a rant there and you're right. The hysteria engendered by fund hungry children's rights groups and feminists has allowed male teachers to be thrown under the bus. The kid card is a helluva potent card and a lot of people enjoy playing it.

Paikin is always worth a listen but bottom line: don't tolerate anyone who tries to suppress your right to an opinion. Go on the offensive immediately.

Sounds like your 19 year old friend is a real winner. Bottom line? Why aren't you entitled to an opinion? Or does your 19 year old friend think that she's the only person in possession of one?

It's true in Australia. It's true in Canada. It's true everywhere in the West. When so much emphasis is placed on a child's opinion now no adult in a supervisory role is safe. It's a mess. Has been for years.

What is with the feminists and the gay activists colluding to use bullying techniques with anyone who disagrees with them? It's time to push back strongly. Free speech isn't free. It's been paid for. And the price was high.

What you see is what you get. I don't know many men who'd commit to marriage, give their time and finances and security to the local runaround. But people in their twenties, who flock to sites like reddit, can't often see the longer view. And they don't give a damn... Lifestyle habits are damn hard to break.

It's part of the media agenda to marginalize men. Note too ads like the one for taking online magazine subscriptions as an online package - the young woman's in bed with her partner and steps on his head to reach a magazine. Would that have happened if the shoe was on a different foot?...People have to got to wake up to what big media is doing. Now that we've had massive consolidation in the industry a lot of bad people are doing a lot of bad things.

Great article! Paglia's right. America is committing suicide. We live in a dangerous world and to forget the role the military plays in safeguarding the country is a fatal mistake. The military needs men who are confident and proud to be men. Throughout the media today it's easy to see media mischief and the push for effeminate men. I'd hate to be a boy today.

If 100 people were asked to name 3 manly men, not one would list a name you've presented here. If you want real men go for the old vets who put in the best years of their lives fighting for an ideal and then came home without protests of PTSD and dug in and built a life.

A lot of it was media created. And the opposite media effect is in place today. Commercials overwhelmingly present men as weak and nerdy or even effeminate. The carry-through is also seen on sitcoms. Most men aren't in the role of traditional men. Why do you think all these conferences are constantly being held? To agree on approach and strategy...And that's what's going on.

Sweden is a joke. Its latest blanket amnesty for Syrian refugees should be an affront to all of its citizens. This article's coverage of one benighted Swedish woman's view that muscular men obviously use steroids is just another indication of the bizarre nature of the mindset there.

"There are also myths about the perpetrators. The number of rape is taken out of proportion, which makes it less transparent to see that the perpetrator very often know the victim. Also myths about the etnicity of the perpetrator. With education we must challenge these myths so rape and sexual violence is more recognisable to the victim, the perpetrator and the surroundings.' Good. Publish the exact figures. Myths will die when the unvarnished numbers are there in front of our faces.

South African men might be waking up but the key fact remains that South Africa is a failed state. A rape state. Where over 27% of the men have confessed to raping a woman or girl. Where 10% of that group have acknowledged raping more than one. It is a state where anyone with income will choose a gated community. It is a horror story the West is responsible for creating.

Feminists insist a woman has the right - at any time of the day in any part of any city - to walk about wearing as little or as much as she wants. A big part of the Take Back the Night marches has been this belief. Little is made of common sense or making responsible personal decisions. It's all about men being bad and not guaranteeing their right to be anything a woman pleases. And from this arises so much fruitless acrimony.

It is attention worthy given if the genders were reversed men would be treated much more harshly. But at the same time it's strange: when I was a teenager teenage boys of this age were getting as much as they could get. And they got plenty. Many of the girls were the same. The problem with women is that they talk too much. They micromanage everything and overanalyze and elaborate to death. That's one of the reasons why they're often unsuitable for management. Things need to get done.

Sometime in the last thirty years males have become less and less interested in academic achievement. The consequences are everywhere. We need a campaign to put the blame squarely where it lies: on each and every individual's shoulders. Show young males, regardless of race, what a wasted youth does to their future.

If you're going to have a child out of wedlock all of those state policies that make such a decision feasible, even desirable will have to be re-examined. No society can remain strong when the family unit is destroyed.

There are as many women addicted to porn as there are men. And it's no surprise there are far more women making income from porn than men. I know lots of single men who have given up on the dating scene and are immeasurably satisfied to live life on their own. No one to constantly please. No one to constantly complete do-lists for. Good article. Most higher education is a scam. It's a monopoly put into place to make academics financially comfortable. I was physically chastised by my father. My peers were similarly addressed by their fathers. We are a wonderful group today. Again, I want state intervention as a last resort only. This is what you get when an idea becomes an industry. Especially where it relates to abuse. Social services rely on constantly pumping up the rhetoric. Keeps their funding in place. Do we have foster care spaces numerous enough to implement a program that you might mandate? Is foster care and its already swollen and challenged ranks an answer? "Young men know, instinctively, that their chances in the mating game increase dramatically the better able they are to project an image of power, intelligence, determination, and self-sacrifice." A little silly. If you want to be successful with women, just be a goof or a cad. It will bring you far more company than intelligence, determination or self-sacrifice. Women are turned on by men who seem to reject them or are cavalier about their feelings. Women don't want men who try too hard to want…

Corporate America is full of pedophilic production and advertising managers. We have seen so much inappropriate product directed at preteens in the last ten years. And so much on tv. I taught most of my years in the most impoverished part of our board. I grew up poor so I knew what poor was like but I also grew up in a time where boys were actively competitive academically. I was. Girls have done amazingly well over the last thirty years. They worked hard. They earned it. Oh, I had some fantastic boys, some of whom I'm thankful are still in contact with me, but they were sadly in the minority over the years. Hey, life happens. Don't sweat it.
/r/MensRights23/10/10 10:51 PM

I've worked with special education teachers for years. What they want most is more courses that reflect male interest. Hands-on, trade or technology oriented and experience rich. Some European nations stream kids early. It's worth a shot. As far as the boys feeling that they can't do well, I've never experienced that. Effort is key. Without it, you can't excel.
/r/MensRights22/10/10 01:31 AM

You might want to zip up yourself. Thirty years intermediate school experience here. There is a huge gap in work ethic. Girls do better academically mainly because they study for tests, they complete projects on time and they go the extra mile on special assignments. Yup, I was a male teacher at the top end of elementary. I stand by every word I said and I don't think any elementary teacher of the large number I know would differ in his or her opinion.

/r/MensRights20/10/10 02:58 PM

Been there. Done that. Witnessed it. Girls have a stronger work ethic than boys. A broad statement but as far as it relates to school it's true. And boys increasingly, unlike the schools I went to in the 60's, denigrate achievement. It isn't cool to do well. Boys excelled in '60's classrooms, even in language intense areas. Something else is in the mix now.
/r/MensRights20/10/10 01:44 PM

"Authorities told The Record newspaper one of the boys had confided in an adult who had been on the trip." This is what I find remarkable. I couldn't name those two. But I know such targeted awards exist. There are also awards for the deaf, the blind, the mobility handicapped, those who excel in various community activities like farming and so on. You're ticked at gender-based awards. That's fine. But the issue here is what's causing so many young men to be non-achievers. It's not going to be a matter of academic awards.
/r/MensRights23/08/10 01:28 AM

Every district has its own awards and scholarships. Many schools have their own, totally separate from what others offer. It all has to do with alumni and local generosity and endowment funds. So of the gazillions of scholarships out there I have no doubt there's something for everyone.
/r/MensRights23/08/10 01:19 AM

Oh, come on. Yes, there are scholarships and helps for young women. There are also many of the same for everyone. When the numbers on campus are getting as gender-lopsided as they are, you can't blame it on bursaries, prizes or awards. There's something much larger going on.

No way. Take economics, which I'm interested in and constantly read from. I have a library full of books dating back to the 1970's, all accompanied by fancy graphs and tables and regressions and progressions. Most of them have been wrong. Take the subprime mess that led to the current economic crisis. All of it vetted by the best of Harvard and Yale. All wrong. I like Judge Judy: "If it doesn't make sense, it's not true." Common sense may be dangerous but believing what you know shouldn't be tru…

You have to inject common sense into the debate. There are millions of studies out there on a multitude of topics and most of them contradict another study in a shared field. You have to make the final decisions yourself, free of the bias that directed study authors. In a society that actively promotes promiscuity and where marriage is less and less common, there is no reason to believe the low incidence rates in the original article. None. Get off-topic for a moment. BP, along with all its larg…

A study in England some years ago found over 30% of kids there were not their supposed fathers' children. With infidelity increasing and social network sites actively abetting, rates will certainly be high. Many findings in the report seem absurd.

"Almost a fourth of teenage girls post nude photos of themselves, but somehow boys aren't supposed to notice or have sexual thoughts about them. Many girls behave, often from early childhood, in overtly sexual ways, but when boys notice, they're the ones who are pilloried. Girls sexually objectify themselves but boys are at fault for noticing." That's about it. I've posted on similar topics in the past and I'm an old guy and I've been around far too long. For years, they've accused men of actively creating a power imbalance in our culture that inevitably led to abuse. Now that women are clearly on the road to positions of influence, due to wildly successful educational advances, won't it be said in twenty years time that the power they yield then has led to simlar patterns of abuse?

I should think when social change is the issue men are more conservative and change more slowly. But - and it's a big one - if you keep the taps open and the pressure on, men will succumb to endless flows of media inducement. It's in that catching up that numbers get skewed.

Negroes can be vigilantes and so can white women. And elves. If you can find them. The point is we are many, many years away from a society that once functioned in a manner voters would find acceptable. The courts have lost their status. Good riddance.

All speech, no matter how heinous, belongs in the public arena. Where it can seek survival as it sees fit. Rise and fall with the wind of opinion about it. None of it should be suppressed.

I don't know anything about the site but it's sad any such platform or source needs to be warned about. Freedom of speech and expression should make censorship embarrassed to raise its ugly head. I don't care what the excuses are. A free society does not tolerate those who seek to restrict its expression.

They do what they have to do. As with the mainline system where mistakes occur every day - none of them justifiable - we have to move to something that works. A good vigilante is gold and will keep criminals and lawmakers alike in line. God bless them.

We had a similar case near me in Canada. (Andrew Lech.) Canadian courts are notoriously inept. It's a wonder most Canadian judges are safe to walk the street. No exagerration. Anyway, an investment dealer here who had cheated scores of clients was kidnapped by the clients in an effort to get their money back. The courts were already recognized for what they were. A sham and an impediment. Allowing courts to operate that do nothing but pour salt into the wounds of victims isn't acceptable. Such a…

"But the judge in Traunstein, Bavaria, ruled that it was a "spectacular case of self-justice" and that in Germany, people could not take the law into their own hands." Well and good, but why wasn't the money returned to the two couples? I salute them for their daring. They had every right to do what they did. And this silly, impotent German court that tried them could use a few lessons. Applied however the couples and their friends wish. No one should have gone to jail.

Sure, they're out there. I remember when I was 12 to 15 it was absolute stupidity for a male of my age to be around a certain snack bar after 9:00 pm on a Friday or Saturday night. That's when the married women rolled in in their cars and began looking for fun dates on the back roads. Some guys liked it. Not me. I loved girls my own age. Sexual abuse then had a completely different face than it does today.

We're all shocked by the level of perversion in women joining the penitentiary or prison service. They make up 40% of that workforce and fully 58% of its incidence of staff sexual predation. We expect a zero tolerance policy for all staff who cross the line. It had better be enforced.
/r/MensRights22/03/10 12:50 PM

Well, tit for tat. Any profession dominated by women will have to open its doors to affirmative action. Men are entitled to a cut in every job that's out there. Time to rock the boat and keep the damn thing tipsy until our demands are met.

I'm not Catholic but I was in scouts. I loved it. There were some hijinks at camping weekends and jamborees but nothing sexual. One thing I'll always remember is a jamboree in the sixties where some international groups attended. This was a mixed jamboree. Both guides and scouts. The German girls changed right out in the open. I'd never seen anything like it. I am eternally grateful but that hardly qualifies as sexual abuse.

Media constructs as it pleases. Its function is propaganda. Take a look at the makeover of the black persona on tv in the last year. This one's been posted several times but it is relevant and does contest many people's thinking about women. The majority of sex offences in prison involving staff are committed by them. Pegged at 58%, that's an indictment. It's especially shocking when one realizes that only 40% of the staff are female. Society should be outraged at this betrayal. And feminists should offer more than excuses.

Always a stretch. Of course, prehistoric males would have been involved in the development of their offspring. Play and nurturing and teaching. We see the same behavior in dogs and cats. No study is needed for that. But given the rivalries of the time, the constant need to protect territory and protect one's tribe, their main role would have been defence and provision. Don't need a study for that either.

The key issue dogging men's rights is where are the men. Feminism has put men on the defensive. In their families, in their jobs, in their social lives and institutions and in the courts. It's all about getting your balls back and retrieving your spine. And refusing - above all - to second guess.

It's a huge infringement of privacy. It's a bold trespass. What google wants is that every nosy parker from here to Moscow can virtually scan your neighbourhood, eyeball your house and peer into the nature of your community. Did the firm ask permission? I think mothers should be arrested if they hold their children's hands. We do need a strong no-touch policy. And just to make sure everyone grows up squeaky clean, we should charge any adult who speaks to a child in public. Without being able to monitor what's being said, it's just good pre-emptive policy.

Women in general are better at this. They're more verbal and more comfortable with writing. Has nothing to do with whether they're more cerebral or not. The gift of gab and a flair for writing are key components of effective pressure groups. Men are starting to wake up. Women have kept them on the defensive for some time but more and more men are calling them on their tactics. It's a good trend.
/r/MensRights11/02/10 03:42 AM

The picture's photo clear to me. Men have allowed women to write, speak and behave in ways that are unequivocally discriminatory. Men have simply stepped back and taken it. Maybe, some of us believe feminists will, at some point, just get over it and become more inclusive. I don't. Men need to be more assertive when confronted by women who clearly believe in gender-first policies and principles.
/r/MensRights11/02/10 03:27 AM

They are. Take the term feminism. Obviously, like racism it's a belief system that openly favors one group over another: feminists believe in and support their gender first; racists put their race - first. When women can be openly discriminatory and get away with it, they're winning.

We do need to do more to make boys successful at schools. This debate has been around for a long time. Nothing wrong with early skills training or streaming. We also have to look at those institutions responsible for past change in our system - uni's like the University of Toronto - that have been so dumb and inept in their suggestions and guidance. And hold them to account.

The best cooks I've ever known were big women. I loved them for it. Sure, the Post is reviewing very old material here; the study might be recent but it's merely one of many in this area over a long time, all saying essentially the same. The pity is that so few women today can cook. Thinking they're clever relying on body paint and tweezers instead. When their looks rust up like an old Ford, who'll keep them out of the junk yard?

It's all so flippin' stupid. There are millions of such sexual relationships in the US today. All members of the court in question - without exception - will know of extended family members likely involved in the same. It's the norm. Why can't these half wits get that?

I had thought a few years ago that the gender war was abating but many articles in the last year confirm it's not only alive but heating up. What is clear is that men should not surrender an inch. I don't dismiss that some boys have likely gotten raw deals as the pc crews swept through. But there really was a time when boys respected achievement. I was there. I was a student then. In today's classrooms, it's hard to change bad attitudes and habits. I modified a lot of curriculum to boost its interest to male students. I found the effort rarely panned out.

Well, there were a lot of great male cheaters at school. I just had difficulty proving it. This mainly occurred on essays and similar assignments. That said, boys have simply lost the competitive spirit. When I was in school in the 60's most of the achievers were boys. They relished it. And their less able friends and non-friends admired them for it. Doing well meant something - then. Something's been lost since. Some boys still excel but they're a minority today.
