I'm calling your bullshit. I'm a Singaporean and you're just making mysogynistic comments for the sake of karma. No, women do not behave like that in Singapore. Those people you mentioned (apart from the cheaters, which I have not haven't heard of so I won't comment) are far and few between. If anything, society is more conservative than you make it out to be. You want to share your opinion? Fine. But don't mislead other people. Complete bullshit.

As a male, don't like this triangle one bit. What does it represent as a whole? What is on the axis? Vague claims like these don't benefit anyone.

Well, having gotten about 1k/month I'd say it was enough for me, but I could have been compensated better. Thing is we live in a very privileged country, and my POV is that I'm learning a lower wage for two years, in order to pay for this privilege. Those that came before me protected my country, I did the same, and am still doing so, and I'll expect the future generations to do the same. Rather than say "what can our country do for us", why not say "what can we do for our country?" Yep I agree …

Singaporean here. Conscription isn't a bad thing per se, but I'm not sure if I want women in combat with me. Purely from a physical perspective, they can't lift as much, run as far, or run as fast as men can. That translates to dragging a wounded friend from an open area to cover. If she can't bear the load of combat equipment, I sure as hell ain't enthusiastic about carrying it for her. This isn't a sex thing, I'd be pissed if my best friend asked me to carry extra combat load for him too. This…

Text a few days before your date to confirm and remind her. The rest is up to your calibration - though small talk is always good

Try posting in /r/seduction as well. Anyways there's no need to rush things. You've asked her out, she knows your intent and you've stated your interest. Set a date and if she's interested (and free), she'll turn up.
/r/askTRP19/03/18 01:45 PM

Mistake 1: messages got longer and longer. Flirt, tease, set up logistics. Seems like you were trying to be her friend Mistake 2: too many emojis will make it cringe worthy Mistake 3: when a date's set up, don't sweat it if you don't have her number. Whether she turns up or not has no relevance to you getting her number.

You're telling us your life story because you want our approval to say "alright, go ahead". This doesn't change your situation, just makes you feel a little better. My advice is DONT GO AHEAD WITH IT. You're a mess and she's a disaster

I used to work in the military, and almost everything was done in 'buddy level', whereby you've got one dude helping another dude in case shit goes down. The police in my country always follow this rule, but it might be different for yours.

Younger guy (22) here. I'm worried that my life will amount to nothing, and that life is just a series of endless routines. I'm worried about being mediocre, forgettable, and being just like everyone else.

The way you write sounds like you're over compensating. Relax on the language, but be clearer and more concise on the message you're trying to get across. Based on my experience - you just gotta put yourself out there and talk to them. Realise that everyone is human and is trying to live out their own lives. Realise that people are people, and nothing they have short of good character traits Eg. Generosity, kindness will make them special. Gorgeous 10/10? That's nice. I'd rather have a mentor th…

Remember the age old saying here, "She's never yours, it's just your turn"? I never believed it to be true, maybe all these men were wrong. Maybe I'm different. Maybe I can see through her and she's different. Maybe maybe maybe. Maybe I'm just full of shit. And I discovered that for myself today - the hard way. AWALT. Learn hard and fast, make mistakes. I fucked up the first 10 dates I went on, and that's alright. Review your mistakes, where exactly did you fail in the interaction? Make sure you remember what you did right and wrong. Did you fail multiple shit tests? Did you fail comfort tests? Did you fail to escalate or escalate too quickly? Did you escalate in the wrong mood or wrong location? Don't be afraid to kino and show your intentions. Don't outright go caveman in public either. You'll get there eve…

Similar case with me, but her friend ended up with her instead. The only way I'd look her in the eye is if I'm with someone that's hotter than her. Play it cool and say hello to your ex if you can manage, and of course have your girl be by your side.

If you're depressed, do focus on the issues that make you depressed in the first place, and fix them. That's the biggest part. If you want a quick fix, check out RSD Todd, charisma on command, and simple pick up on YT. They'll teach you how to talk to women, make friends, and show you that being sociable on general isn't that all difficult. Like all things it requires practice.

I've had much much much more success with women in person than online. Yeah there's of questionable people on online dating sites, men and women included. Money doesn't matter, unless you're not financially secure. If they like you for your money, looks, etc. then no dice for them. Don't worry and keep trudging on. I've been on dating apps for about a year and unless you're extremely witty or handsome, or everything she looks for in a guy, nothing much is going to happen. There's plenty of good …

When I got shut down hard by the first girl that I approached in a club. I decided that change needs to happen, and that I was going to make that change happen for myself. I read up on PUA books and videos, and most importantly started doing things that I was uncomfortable with. Face your fears, and once you've faced it there's literally nothing to be scared of. I built confidence on making my mistakes and facing all my fears. That's all there is to it. I put myself out there and made all the mi…

Don't worry, I've been through and done that. What he says is 100% true. Of course women are attracted to rich and good looking guys, likewise we are attracted to supermodels. Point to note is that how you present and talk to the girl is of paramount importance. I look like shit, but I try to dress and groom myself well. And I've dated girls WAYYY out of my league because of that. At the end of the day, give it a shot and keep shooting. Because you owe it to yourself to be the best and happiest …

The people here are giving you advice on how to be more aggressive in life in general, which doesn't answer your question. My answer is to go BEYOND your comfort zone on escalation and to practice. Practice practice practice. Sooner or later knowing what to do will come naturally to you. Another point is to read up on kino and just take shots in the dark, at least until you know how it works. Another point is to recognise when the girl is resisting you VS when she's uncomfortable. One is ASD and…

I cold approach any girl I find cute or attractive, and gauge their response to me. They very seldom expect to be approached, and the dynamics of the outside are much different from the dynamics from inside a club.

100% agree. Girls only want you to make them feel certain way. Looking good? Cut with 6 abs? Girls want you because you make them feel a CERTAIN WAY with that build. It's not any different from walking up and talking to them.

Not sure if other people can chime in on this, but I found that "I'm got some free time this week, what's your schedule like" works pretty well. Implies that you're busy but you'll try to accommodate her, also you'll be getting to know her schedule all at once.

Telling people more about you so they can understand you. Or volunteering information so that you can vindicate yourself. Eg. "Sorry I'm late today, it was my friends birthday last night and I drank too much, so I couldn't wake up on time". Vs "Sorry I'm late, had a long night yesterday". Then only giving more information if they ask you for it.

Few things: Congrats on trying to turn your life around, not everyone has such a good springboard to start with. Don't qualify yourself so much with other people. It seems counterintuitive, but qualifying yourself makes you seem desperate or lacking. (Even when genuinely not) Keep us updated, always good to see progress in a fellow brother
/r/askTRP18/12/16 07:26 AM

Get off your armchair and see the military for what it is. People work hard out there and you discredit them - not go read up and get your facts straight first. You're not worth the time to argue.
/r/askTRP15/11/16 03:43 AM
1

Bam. This is it right here, just get a mentor if you can. Your mentors should be fuck boys or playboys - learn their methods and styles, but in the end always be yourself. Incorporate their methods
/r/seduction14/11/16 10:44 AM

I think it's fine if you get posted as part of the supply or admin chain inside the military. Heavy vehicle drivers, military police, admin clerks etc are just a few of the hundreds of positions available. Don't join for the combat because you'll regret it.

/r/askTRP14/11/16 07:58 AM

The EC has a point. But your attitude is all wrong with this. You're coming from the anger phase and you'll feel insecure deep down. Find your inner game first before trying to game someone else
/r/askTRP14/11/16 04:45 AM

Pay attention to what she does not what she says. I've done a ton of tinder outings and talk does not equal action. Next time meet up and see her body language and her attitude irl. If you're not interested, it's your entitlement to ditch the meet up.
/r/askTRP14/11/16 04:44 AM

Then you've lost the battle of frame. She offers to talk, calibrate, escalate etc. There's no right or wrong, and you're having fun. Go there with no expectations unless you're into the dtf kind.

Yep. Infantryman here and the military works fucking wonders. Just don't expect anything from it and you get what you receive. Go with an open mind, be prepared to obey but always think independently. It's the independent thinkers that people look out for. Don't stand out from the crowd, but volunteer genuinely and help your mates in the armed forces. Typical bro rules apply, but x10.
/r/askTRP14/11/16 12:42 AM

Don't get fazed by them. If they say they have friends, they might be doing this for the first time and could be feeling insecure. Dating is all about calibration. It's fine to fuck up, it's a long learning process and that's how learning occurs. The most important thing is to ACT CHILL even when you aren't. Don't show weakness, desperation etc. Just be genuinely you BUT minus what I mentioned above.

The best revenge is a life well lived. Your life isn't fucked because you realised what's wrong with it and make changes to it. Cut the toxic people out from your life, they don't deserve you. You don't owe your parents jack shit, they do for bringing you into the world. Good luck brother.
/r/TheRedPill24/10/16 08:57 AM

Yes. But use tinder to set up dates and practice your text game (impt bit). Don't expect any hookups or any serious prospects if you're starting out. Use it to practice but if you go further thats good as well.
/r/seduction24/10/16 12:20 AM

Yeah you're right. But that applies situationally doesn't it? Take for example that you're an asshole IRL, but when you go for a job interview you have to put your best foot forward and that's the way things are. Your flaw is that "If you don't like something, you shouldn't have to fake it". If my 6 year old cousin made a gingerbread house and I didn't like it, I would lie my ass off. Just because we're on the MGTOW sub doesn't mean we can't be flexible. As men we shouldn't we have more situatio…

There could be something wrong with the vibe you give or your text game. I have a decent amount of matches + numbers, and you'll have to give a friendly, cheeky vibe. Get their number after a few puns or messages, the longer u drag the less interested they will be. Lastly it's always up to the girl for online dating so don't take it personally. It's the game that they play
/r/MGTOW13/10/16 01:42 PM

Hey don't get me wrong if you can help out then do so. But you've got to be justified with your actions. It's just like a mugging, yeah sure you should help if you can. But if the mugger has a gun or has a sharp blade, then you risk your life by just intervening. In this case it's easy to say what should or could have been done, but if the guy doesn't want to interfere that's his decision.

Wish I could say or offer a different opinion, but as an Asian that's true for lost cases. I'd say 60-75% but take this figure with a grain of salt. I've always thought that Asian women would have qualities that most are looking for here, but that figure is diminishing with the westernisation of culture here.

If you have to ask, you are. Go lift, lose weight and naturally your confidence will get a huge boost. The red pill is a guide, and find what works for you. Don't take every single piece of advice here, as everyone leads different lives and has different personalities. Take what you think is beneficial, then make it your own by adjusting it to suit your style the most. Be confident and sure in yourself, but be ready to admit your mistakes. That's the best piece of advice I can give you.

Yes they can, but it will never be as genuine as the natural born extroverts. I'm basing this on my personal experience. I was a bona fide introverted person with 0 social skills. Now I'm a supposed ESTP, according to the myers-briggs. I put myself in uncomfortable situations that I knew would benefit me, such examples would be clubbing and going for a kayaking course. Political correctness is just one way for certain liberals to get others to conform to their ideals. Just because one does not support PC does not mean that they are narrow minded, nor are they bigoted. I dislike broccoli, cauliflower, and bean sprouts. That however does mean I have a phobia of vegetables. Get your act together SJWs.

Thanks. This however doesn't solve the issue of making the right decision in a situation. I wouldn't dream of being so audacious, if I don't have the prerequisites of being mildly capable. It would just make me a bold idiot.

Watch the acting of Sean Penn in Mystic River, and Robert DeNiro in the movie 'Heat'. There's much to be learnt and emulated from them.

Don't know why you're down voted, but I'd like to second your recommendation. The concept of fight club is definitely one of the cornerstones of TRP.

Part of masculinity is loyalty and reliability. We will be hypocrites by saying AWALT and hypergamy, whilst cheating on the side.

I like the idea of walking down the road alone. This idea is much harder in practice than in theory. Walking a solitary path without company can take the sanity of a person, but is an excellent tool for self development. I'd advocate it for monk mode and periods in your life when you need to cut off yourself off from distractions. I'd advise walking down the solitary path during time of adversity, these are the times when a man is truly built. During times of ease, there's no need to fly solo. W…

This is an excellent post. It reinforces what is apparent to the RP man, however the reason why we're here is precisely because we aren't RP. Thanks OP.

You never really know where to draw the line when it comes to women. Would you rather treat them as a friend, and lose the respect and domination that comes with a relationship? Treating a woman like your equal in a relationship, BUT not knowing the fallacy that they will lose respect and attraction once you become a walkover is the true relationship killer.

Haven't seen this kind of advice. Selecting your battles wisely is equivalent to developing a new perspective in the long run. Rather refreshing actually.

Holy fuck, that's bad. She claims that her husband is the shit, and freaks the out when he's been browsing RP? He's really stupid for posting her nudes online though, that's retarded. Alimony? I'd be reasonable and say that as long as a reasonable agreement can be met, it can't be avoided. Best to get it over with since its inevitable. She's out of a job and gave up prospects, but then it sounds more like unemployment benefits, no? Alimony should stop after she gets a job, since that's the reaso…

You got out light as compared to a large number of guys here. If you had kids (I assume you don't), you'd lose your house, and have to pay alimony for a long time. That's just the way the system is, fucked up. Hope other guys going through your situation can make use of this info.

Asking for permission is definitely not sexy. Girls might say that they want you to 'ask for permission', but in the heat of the moment, is that really what it boils down to? I've seen tons of people saying that explicit permission required to escalate, but then these are the same people who are still virgins. I did this before when I was with my ex. Shit was so off putting. Escalating solved my issues.

That's true. But a huge part of bargaining is actually knowing what you're doing. Doing your research beforehand is a must, as you don't want to come off as an idiot or a cheapskate.

I'd honestly be happy for the day that the tainted gender lens can be removed from the media. Women can die for their country. They should be given the same chances as men to fall in battle. But this doesn't mean that the shallow media that reports to the even shallower masses won't sensationalise it. The issue is the media. I also completely agree with Sentry's points, things are completely different in the battlefield. There's just too many SJWs that have never seen the reality of the world, f…

Your mindset is the issue. Never pedestalise women, give them the exact same chances/benefits of the doubt that you'll give guys. Read No More Mr Nice Guy, by Robert Glover. That will help you understand yourself better. Read up on The Game and Seddit on how to approach. It will boost your confidence, and give you knowledge. Read up on The Red Pill to pull your life together. It also it a portal to how women think. You need all 3 aspects of your life together, to approach properly and get the co…

If you're good at this, try a Red Pill approach instead. Not every approach works with everyone, so why not give it a go. With your personal style, the PUA Seddit approach probably won't work.

Seems like you have the PUA part settled. Read No More Mr Nice Guy, and some Red pill. The problem isn't female attention, it's your unhealthy separation from masculine energy. Do guy stuff with your guy friends.

Seconded. Women like to say that they 'like' nice guys who care about their feelings etc, but they will always go for the man that intrigues them the most. Harrison Ford's portrayal of Hans Solo in the SW franchise, and the Indiana Jones franchise proves this many times over. A closer analysis of the movies reveals the way he and the women around him act - they test him constantly, and he shoots them down every single time. People will yell that, "this is the movies, it won't happen!". Truth is …

It's really a sad thing, but that's how the world works. I felt the same way with my friend of many years, but it turns out that he had his own things going on as well, and had no time for my weaknesses. Not complaining, doing what needs to be done, and not showing weakness are the few pre-requisites for being even a decently stoic man. If I expect a little stoicism and agency from others, for them to get the job done and not whine on why they can't or won't do it, why can't I expect it of mysel…

It's counterproductive to just list an example and treat is as an argument. Should that occur, I believe that a jury, or judge out there will be more suited to handle that situation. IMHO, a male person being put in a female prison will never happen, not in countries with half of some common sense anyways. A better thought out answer would be that there is a very compelling reason - a reason enough for a male to be put in a female prison should that occur.

I didn't follow the case. At that time, there was an outrage and multiple appeals filed by the victim in question. Extrapolating political backlash would not be too difficult, given the circumstances. I would not however assume.

I actually agree with the ruling in this case. In a similarly previous case, a man who had a sex change op was sent to a male prison. Raped to death within a short period of time. The possible harms/dangers and political backlash would simply be enormous.

Following up with what you said. The army is one of the best places to learn and get your shit together. The tougher your unit/regiment, the more you'll get your shit together. The beginning is tough, people will advise you against it, but it WILL help. Speaking from experience.

Discipline happens when you want it to happen. Just remember that all of the decisions you make are all up to you. Make decisions consciously and stick by them. Discipline is achieving mastery over your willpower. You may be disciplined by waking up at 4am everyday, even when your body feels tired. You are disciplined when your friends drink until they are inebriated, but you don't touch a drop because you're the designated driver. It comes in many forms.

Hey man, I've been through some shit as well. I can honestly tell you that letting go is the best way to free yourself. The baggage that you bear is yours and yours alone, we can't share that. What you can do is try to let go. Are you doing something that takes you out of comfort zone? Then good. Are you uncomfortable? That's good too. You're unsure of what to do now but in the future you won't be, thanks to you being in the same position now.

Thanks for your input. I've always thought that playing video games at home was sad, and it is. I'm not looking for validation from others - that should be one of the last things people look for. After all, isn't a strong sense of independence and self reliance part of the mantra? I'm doing so because I want to be a better person by living a life less dull, and having a more interesting lifestyle. Soldier from Singapore here. I'm out to call you on your bullshit. Your view that countries' interest is purely economic is inherently true in some countries, most notably the USA. Have you then taken a broader look at other countries with conscription then? Countries like Taiwan, Singapore, South and North Korea, Switzerland? They take up arms in order to defend their country. Well said. That's exactly the touchstone that many males need. Where I'm from, military service (2 years) helps us bond very thoroughly and helps form a common point between males. I can instantly walk up to almost any guy on the street, and ask him about his military experience. The fact is that being in the service will force a person into many uncomfortable situations, thus causing them to interact with many (often difficult) people at the same time. You learn really quickly by trial and erro…

I joined the military 8 months ago. I had social anxiety before that, and did not manage myself well. Given that women around the world are similar, there are cultures in which the methods for TRP need to be changed. In an Asian context, the women mostly know their place in society. So do men. How then can TRP be adapted into this society? Knowing their place =\= success in TRP context. There are 200 plus million Americans in the world. What about the rest of the 6+ billion in other societies? How does it fit in right here?
