Like the others have said: be attractive, outgoing and interesting. It’s all fake, though. Vain attention.

Man, I'd just move on at that point. Not worth the effort or embarrassment.

The cool and mysterious persona was all an act. I was not being genuine. I wanted people to like me and find me desirable. I’m a huge nerd. I knew what to change because I had internal conflict. It did not feel natural to embody this persona. I started being myself and becoming indifferent to what others thought of me, and that actually started making people interested in me.

Go with what feels right internally. Do you feel natural and at ease, or is there any resistance? When I was younger, I’d try to act “cool” and mysterious to try to get women (and people) to like me. Of course, that was all bs, and they would eventually catch on. Once I dropped the facade and actually started to converse with women as my natural self (not even with the intent on getting with them), they practically threw themselves at me.

True. I assumed OP was seeking a relationship.

Fair, but the act can only last so long. Plus, why would you want to be with someone who doesn’t value you for yourself, anyway?

You have to change how you see yourself. From now on, see yourself as confident, honest and genuine.

Women are people too. Be calm and talk to her like a human being, and if there is any interest, it will flow naturally.

Just be your authentic self. Do not try to put on an act.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
