I thought the same way at first but I've spoken with my sister about this and we both think the same thing: If we did that it could only land him in a worse situation. We need to find a solution that can't just be taken away by the police/courts. From my reading of Feminist lit: About 3/4ths of what is prescribed to "the patriarchy" isn't even really a problem. Some of it even seems to be just a part of human nature, which at best is neutral. Its going to backfire majorly. I grew up with a mother like this and until I realized it was feminism, I was a misogynist. She raised me up to 11 (prior to divorce) with all kinds of crazy beliefs. After that she still had influence but less. At about 20 I was like 'feminism is the problem' after reading about it. She was openly a feminist, and most other women I met were nothing like her. About 10 years ago I stopped believing in the wage gap, amoung other things.

Well, personally I'm not against this. I am of the opinion that public university's need to be created that are free. If you want private education thats fine. (Private education would still get people.) No scholarships needed. So while this is a very sexist thing that is happening, I'm not specifically against it, because its closer to my actual goal: Free education to any level.
