50% Spanish (Slight middle eastern, most Spaniards have middle eastern in them.) 25% Native American, and 25% unknown. My skin tone isn't white, but I admit without actually pushing my arm up on a white persons, I appear that way. I was talking about being proud of my back ground that I know about I was called a racist until I pointed out "I'm not white..." Typically I've found people saying the Spanish aren't white, and having been to spain they are darker skinned than most of Europe I've seen ...or at least more of them are... (Makes sense as they did get taken over by the middle east in the middle ages.) I just wanted to say that it pisses me off for two reasons:

  1. Race doesn't matter, I'm proud of my background because none of my ancestors were slave owners (back as far as I could find.) Also because I myself had a horribly racist Dad, and I myself am not racist, I've found that most of my family wasn't either, going pretty far back.
  2. Racists care that I say that. They are angry at me for being happy about something they perceive me to be...like every other racist.
