Posts like these remind me of the times I have seen similar behavior happen in real life. Behavior like hers is too common to take relationships serious anymore. Might get lucky and find a unicorn that is not like her? Possibly, but not likely. The risks outweigh the benefits for men. I liked the writing style of OP, no pandering to emotions, he just stated the situation clearly how it is.

By getting close male role models you get something that is hard to put into words. To know that someone wants the best for you and loves you for who you are as a man. It has no price. Life is not always easy, but having this connection to someone bridges the gaps. I do my best to be this person to my younger brothers.

This man is based, there is no doubt about it. His former fiancee lost the game trying to swing for the fences. She is likely going to regret it for the rest of her life.
