See you don’t sound boring at all to me. I love to travel and follow aviation and the industry pretty closely. So I’d have like 100 questions for you lol. But see? Not boring. And maybe don’t always be trying to think about girls as potential dates (I do it a lot) but yeah just be cool and make friends with those around you. Better to know a few FA’s you can get a drink with in the evenings than get caught up in all these drama filled dating co workers scenarios. I mean you have weeks at home an…

Hey, don’t be so hard on yourself. All of our perspectives are sooo relative. I got out of a 4+ year relationship in 2019 and have been making attempts at dating. Some have gone well, some have not. And in some cases, girls were wanting me and then I had to be the one to break up with them. But I also still got rejected as well. But what I learned is that one rejection doesn’t mean anything when compared to the next person. We think that everyone perceives us the same way, but they don’t. And yo…

The semi related thing I think about is that big changes like where you live, your car, your job, hobbies and interests and life experience are all things that take time. If you’re living w your parents and then meet a great girl. It’s like impossible to just move out that night. You gotta put in the time and investment in you to position yourself well in life to be ready for when you do meet someone special. Get a good job, a good home spot, etc. don’t have to shun off dating but keep working o…

I have read receipts turned off - kinda feel that they are an invasion of privacy. But even so, I feel like responding within a few hours during work hours isn’t that big of a deal. But with how frequently we’ve texted I feel it’s fair for her to assume that I had seen the text after a few hrs. She said that in that case I should just let her know that I’m busy. Which is a fair request. But I still felt like being asked to respond within an hour or two during work hours was a bit much.

It’s different with everyone, but I got in trouble with her for taking a few hours to respond. I’m a pretty active texter but getting the sense that I “have to” respond to her within an hour or two made me not want to respond to her. I don’t like being told what to do. I like when communication preferences are shared - don’t get me wrong. But I’d much prefer to hear “I love when you text me throughout the day” vs “I’m mad at you bc it took you 4 hrs to text me back when I was simply asking you h…

I was dating a girl who said she thought I wasn’t interested in her because I wasn’t asking about how she was when I texted her. But we texted back and forth pretty continually throughout the day. I told her that she should take the frequency of my texts as interest in itself.

Yeah man! Doing things on your own is freedom and doing some completely solo travel opens you up to so many new experiences and people. I’ve done a few shorter trips solo and it definitely gives you a different perspective on things. I also have no problem approaching women if I have some “reason” to. And being solo is the best reason ever. “Hey, want to hike together?” “Oh where are you traveling from” If I’m in another country “hey! Another American (or any nationality) what’s up!” I did a sho…

Don’t think it’s unethical at all, and encourage you to go for it! But, I think my words of caution are to be prepared that he may not be over his ex. Maybe he’s still thinking of her in the back of his mind when with you, maybe you be a rebound for him. Those are sorta worst case scenarios, but something to keep in mind. Keep communication open and clear and let him know that he’s free to talk about any of it with you. I think that would be helpful.

It definitely helps when you see something like that book you know - in her hands. Always easier to approach anyone when you don’t have to think of what to say. So keep that in mind and look for little things like that. Also - think you did the good thing of not hesitating too!

I think it might come from how we’ve grown up. I was raised to be a pretty decent guy and somehow got it in my heads that I shouldn’t chase or hit on women; that I should be a perfect gentleman at all times. So when spending time w female friends, I thought that they would eventually come around but they didn’t. It was hard to let go of, but I eventually started to consider that girls want to be pursued (by guys they like) but it has been a challenge to adopt that mindset.

Yeah a girl one just told me as we were starting to get handsy that she wanted to suck my dick and did

If he’s hiking, he could offer his hand as she’s climbing over a rock or something. What worked very well for me on a 1st date is that we had gone on a walk/hike, and after I asked her if she wanted to sit by the stream. And as we were sitting there I held my hand out inviting her to take it and she did! Made the rest a lot easier

Good read. I feel like asking for the kiss kinda killed the playful vibe and perhaps put her on the spot in the end. But still, it’s a learning thing. Cause had you left w out saying that, would you be writing this saying you wished you had done something a little more? I was impressed with signaling to her to come over to where you had moved to and asking her out. I think though that you just gotta be slower sometimes. I think you have the right idea, but I wouldn’t text her again. That would i…

I think it’s a good idea to keep in contact with dates early on. Maybe not to the “good mornings” extent, but if dates are a week+ apart, then maybe initiate something every other day or so? Doesn’t have to be much, but a random thought - especially if it relates to something that you were talking about with her before. I had a girl last year that hit me with the good morning texts after date 1 or 2. I didn’t intend to get into a continual texting thing with her but she was always initiating. Ev…

I've on and off considered a dating coach, but never did b/c they are so steep. There's one I watch on youtube, Correy Wayne and he seems pretty good, but charges $1k for an hour's phone call. I get it, he wants to make money too and that he has clients that can pay for it. Did you see the movie Hitch a while back, where Will Smith is a dating coach? They are generally there as a service to "help" the wealthy connect. I'm sure they'd like to help the poor man, but if you can charge $1k/hr, would…

Gotta say, you gotta do what you need to do in order to feel happy. Forget about women at this point. How do you want to live? Take a stance and make yourself proud and it will be easier to find good people and women.

Yep! Agree for me too. There’s a special me risk fulfillment kinda feeling that interacting with a woman who I’m interested in provides like nothing else. Yes, we need to improve ourselves, but I lack motivation sometimes and it’s nice to get a little reminder along the way of why I’m doing what I’m doing. And who says the woman of my dreams needs to come along at the end of the journey?

That’s such a cool perspective! Thanks for sharing. The world of modeling seems so foreign to me, but everyone is a person who wants the same things as everyone else! Very cool to hear about your relationship too!

That’s helpful to think about. What I really wish I could have is a friend our teacher who could take me out to the club and really help me get out of my shell for the first go round

Any advice on how to mentally prep yourself to go up to a girl at a club in the first place? I always feel so awkward trying to do that. I wish I could go with a pro and learn

I like the put out the hand strategy! Whether in a club or on a date. I tried that on a first date after a walk in the park while we were sitting on a bench and she took my hand and smiled.
/r/seduction29/11/21 01:16 AM

Yeah, why do you say that? Unless you don’t want a relationship, it’s kinda up to the girl to determine if your bf material

Thanks! I hope it helps someone. Yeah a smile can feel like putting yourself out there, but it’s a lot easier than walking across a room and talking to someone you’re interested in
/r/seduction19/11/21 02:54 AM
2

Yes exactly. So if you just want sex then it doesn’t matter. But if you want more than that and you can’t decide between the girls, then see who might be better suited for that. But bear in mind that it still might make it a difficult choice.
/r/seduction18/11/21 01:34 AM
2

Haha nice. Would be curious what he has to say. And honestly, unless you’re looking for hookups, no sex on the first date is a good rule. And if they are into you, they can wait till the 2nd.
/r/seduction18/11/21 01:28 AM
2

Thanks! Ask me anything lol I stressed out about this a bit bc I didn’t want to reject or let anyone down. And I asked friends even my therapist what to do and they all said it’s cool to get to know them better first. But like I said, think about what you want and ask yourself which girl can take you there? It seems like you haven’t met either of them? Definitely go meet them. That’s gonna tell you so much. Maybe make sure they know no sex till after the first date?
/r/seduction18/11/21 12:26 AM
2

The problem may solve itself. But I’d both girls want you to sleep with them on the first date, that might be kinda tricky because you probably shouldn’t go sleeping with multiple people at the same time. But if it’s just casual dinners and maybe cuddling it’s less of a big deal.

Hey, I was literally in this situation up until last week. I wasn’t trying to be malicious but two girls I met on the apps just happened to progress very similarly at the same time and I felt kinda bad talking to both but everyone gave me the advice of getting to know both of them, but be honest. And while I didn’t lie, I didn’t provide many details. I found that it would have been nice to let one down and focus on the other and have less stress, but I really felt like I couldn’t decide. So what…

Think about it this way, it someone’s nervous to approach you, how can you make it easier on them? Throw in a smile with the eye contact. If you’re talking and you get the opportunity, move his hand to somewhere on you to initiate touch. Guys like to have positive reinforcement to know what they’re doing is welcome.

Yeah it kinda seems like one of those situations where the girl just wanted to have some fun that night and you were the lucky guy. But still, reach out if you’d like to see her again. Keep it pretty casual tho and don’t expect much, as you know.

Think of it as you’re both kids. You just want to have fun together and it’s about as simple as that. If you just think of her as another person on the playground you just have fun doing whatever it is you want to do. If you can be yourself and be silly and laugh, that’s all it really comes down to. So don’t be afraid of anyone, and don’t hold back! Of course that’s easier said than done. But happy to chat more if you’d like!

I like your post, I've always kind of considered myself a "nice guy" but like a chill person who tries to treat others decently, as well as respect myself. Sure I may not be the most confident, daring guy out there, but I've learned how to break out of my shell to a certain extent and occasionally hit it off with girls. But what I really want to highlight is where you mention the possibility of having an older male mentor. I didn't. My parents got divorced when I was a kid and I was raised by my…

This reminds me of a situation I found myself in a few months ago. I met a bunch of people at a music fest down in Fl over the summer. Chatted w this one girl and the guy she was dating. She adds me on IG and invites me down. Tells me how she and this guy are poly and invites me to a sex club with them if I visit. Like your girl she says I will stay at her place and can share her bed. But aside from all that, the convo remains pretty low key So I eventually make plans to visit, and fly down ther…

I find that traveling makes it so much easier to approach people. Why? Because I find it easier to approach people if I have a reason to do so. If it’s just me wanting to talk to a pretty girl, I’m all kinds of nervous. But if I need to ask for directions or see someone else from my country, it’s so easy to go up and initiate that conversation with them. So use that, say you’re not from around here and ask them for a suggestion. Maybe tailor it to who you’re taking to? A hot girl may know a good…

I appreciate this text. I was just going thru this yesterday where a girl that I’ve gone on a 2nd date with over the weekend seemed to pull her texting back a bit. I wasn’t sure what to do but I remembered the advice that I should pull back so I decided that barring anything random popping up, I was just going to sit back and wait at least a few days or until she reached out. And she reached out today which was nice!

Yeah, I agree with that. There are things I could have done better. There are girls I could have approached her I didn’t. Lots of room for improvement here and I liked your comment! I just wanted to clarify that it’s not 100% on our shoulders if it doesn’t work out. But it’s certainly not 0% either.

I think the thing I’m not sure about is “if you get rejected, it’s your fault.” That puts waaay too much on each person. Sure, fumbling around doesn’t help, and it may get you a rejection, but there are other factors at play here too. Yes, agreed that shyer guys like me need all the encouragement that we can get, but I want to highlight that sometimes (or most other time?) you or the woman has no attraction and that’s out of your hands. I do like the thought though that she is rooting for the ri…

Thanks! I appreciate you saying that! And I hope you’re able to get the peace and solitude you seek. I was at a festival last weekend and I started talking to a girl and she politely told me that she just needs some alone time so I wished her well. If there were any advice I could give you it would to be upfront and direct. (Not that you’re not already going that)

It’s tough. There’s a lot of incentive for men to chat you up at the beach, but they all should be respectful when you decline their advances and surely ask to be left alone. Some guys can read the signs. Some guys can’t. Some guys care. Some guys don’t. It’s really frustrating as I am a guy who wants to talk to women, but I also feel bad bothering them if they wish to be alone. I admit that many guys are dense and don’t pick up on the signs nearly as well as we should. I try to be as observant …

What do you mean? Like I coulda suggested some harmless reason to go in?
/r/seduction14/08/21 08:12 PM

Yup that makes a lot of sense and what was I was thinking too. I might pull her aside at some point if she doesn’t seem interested and be like “hey, you seemed to be interested before, and now you don’t, what’s the deal?” Because of the fact that I need some more friends and she was introduced to me as a potential new friend group, I would be open to taking a few steps back and being friends with the group, though normally I wouldn’t want that with a girl who wasn’t interested in me

Her friends (who I met at the same time as her) are doing a weekend cabin thing next week and she said I’d be welcome. So I plan to go and hang out with everyone and gauge the vibe. I expect to be a bit disappointed if she continues to show no romantic interest, but separately I would like to connect with this group of people as friends - since many of mine have either moved away or are having kids and it’s not easy to build a new friend group during covid. She seems somewhat extroverted based o…

Thanks for the paragraphs. I don’t think she’s playing hard to get based on how this all stated. There were good vibes from the beginning and it was really easy to kiss her and make plans, she suggested the first two dates herself. Then after the 2nd date, her response was “oh maybe later in the week” and I invited her over for dinner that night and she politely declined. We went out to a movie last night and she seemed rather interested in talking during the car ride back, but just not anything…

I am talking to other girls. I saw some potential in this girl - I don’t always connect with people so easily so I was hopeful.

No we didn’t talk about getting sexual. There was essentially one date after the time we made out. I dropped her off that night, we made out again in the car. I figured if she wanted anything she would have invited me in? I didn’t want to force it or appear needy. If she’s lost interest or playing any kind of games, what should I do? Escalate and try to make it sexual when she seems less interested? It doesn’t make sense

I mean what really matters most is the in person stuff. You just want to be sure that the texting isn’t signaling something else. Everyone communicates differently. At this point I’d say plan for the date, and give yourself permission not to care about the texting till after it. You don’t want to bring it up too soon, but if things are good in person, then you can also stick to calling or hanging out.

Good advice! Yeah I feel like I was introduced to them under the pretense of “my single friend” so I should follow thru and just ask one out. I was hoping for some sign or interest from one of them though. If I’m interested in all 3, then let’s see who’s most interested in me

Thanks for the comments! Yeah I’d like to see her again. I got the “you’re a fun date” vibe from her, but didn’t sense much interest on her part beyond that - the random “how are you” text aside. I’m planning to get back out to the northwest where she is later this summer, will try to see her then if I can. Maybe an impromptu phone call one of these nights? Not sure what else I should do at this point...

I included “when I was traveling” but if that didn’t get the point across I edited the post. I’m planning on heading back in a month or two for another visit. It always helps me talk to girls when I have a "reason" to do so. Saying hi because she's pretty? Unacceptable. But saying hi because we both just got blood drawn and I can ask her about it? Totally legit. It's frustrating. You still did good in talking to her. Just think about what you would have liked to say to her when she said goodbye for next time.
