Was this a diary entry you accidentally posted? I'm not sure what the point was of all of this?

There's no right and no wrong. Also, the whole mate guarding thing applies primarily to plates / picking up girls. If you're committing to a LTR with somebody, then it's a little bit different. You need to know what your own boundaries are, what you're on negotiables are, otherwise when the shit tests start coming you'll have no idea where to draw the line. As soon as the line is established and communicated, if it is crossed, you walk.

So you can see why her terrible behaviour is justified, and it was the blokes fault because he didn't put her fee fees first. Red pill as fuck man

The OP comes to this conclusion at the end of his post. Did you finish reading it or nah?

A plate that prays with him, listens to self development podcasts with him, and who doesn't fuck him. If she's a plate she's broken one.

Mate, it really is a non issue. Who gives a flying fuck which cab you get in, the point is to get to where you are going. His friends told him there was no more room in their taxi, and he was literally at a taxi rank. Any rational person would simply get in the next cab and have an enjoyable night. Obviously there was only one rational person in this story however.

I'm not poor mate, but I don't have a'good' job - I have a job and I save. Don't need to put travelling or adventuring on some pedestal, like only ultra rich people can do it, you're doing a disservice to the majority of people who could actually go and experience things.

Haha! Thought he'd join the rotary club. She must really be in tune with her husband

Not necessarily - a job yes, but there are plenty of things you can do and places to see on the cheap if you are so inclined.

Everybody's rock bottom looks different, and it's easy to feel like you're experiencing a unique pain that nobody else can fully understand, but honestly, there's people who hit rock bottom early in life without having the chances and opportunities you have had. Success is failing repeatedly with no loss of enthusiasm mate, just keep going

Ok, take it from the top - he's been seeing her a month, so it's not a ltr, I'm assuming she's a plate, but maybe that's my fault for making an assumption. Say she's a plate - he has completely broken his frame with her, regardless of the actual issue itself. He said she had a look of disappointment in her eyes, and now this dudes genuinely upset and feels like he's lost his manhood etc - honestly my opinion would be just to move on. I know he doesn't have to, and sure he could try and move past…

It's a lot easier than coming back from that. Why waste your time? Next and move on.

What media portrays Muslims as closed minded? Can't remember the last time I saw negative press regarding Muslims in the mainstream media. Even after an Islamic terror attack, the media is quick to remind everyone that 'not all Muslims are like that'.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
