If he went to court with that attitude it really shows his lack of care for his children's best interest. courts generally want what is best for the children. It's likely that he would get the standard 50/50 custody and complete the standard child support worksheet for your state. 1	Hypergamy and Monkey-Branching in Family Court Custody is commonly split 50/50 as that is what's best for the children. And there should be a state child support calculator worksheet that will be based on the parents income (does not include anyone else's income). You're not getting that man's money. You can retain some dirt bag lawyer if you want, but the lawyer will know this is a losing fight before you step foot in court.
