Control your controllables. Are you in shape? How’s your fit? How’s your grooming? What is your financial situation look like? Are you a good conversationalist? Fix all of those things before you worry about things you can’t control.

Start by changing your mindset. Women like sex. Get comfortable touching people in day to day conversation. I started with high fiving people. I high five or fist bump everyone. I shake hands with every new man I meet and reach out to hug every new woman that I meet. If a woman, even women I’m not attracted to, has an interesting watch or piece of jewelry on her hands or wrists, I’ll reach my hand out and ask if I can see it. I’ll hold her hand while I do. I touch peoples’ arms or shoulders in c…

Changing your mindset is the key. Remember that women want to fuck just as much as you do. They just need someone to make it ok for them because of the social pressure they live with. Take the mindset that your time and energy are a gift that you’re sharing with women and not something you’re taking from them. Let go of the notion that women are disinterested in sex and you somehow have to trick them into it. Embrace the fact that plenty of women got dolled up and went to the club with the inten…

It’s total self defeating bullshit. The most successful man I know with the ladies is an unattractive overweight dishwasher. He regularly smashes 8s. He approaches ladies with confidence, listens intently, and generally has a good time. Stop feeling sorry for yourself and do something.

If she’s got a ring, watch or bracelet on, take her hand and look at it. Say something interesting about it. Fans an appropriate time for a fist bump or high five. Make it like a secret with a wink. Slide your hand up her back and into her hair. If your a little more alone, give it a little tug.

If the assertion is there is a racial bias in sentencing, you're first source explicitly refutes that point. I quoted the section where they call it out. I've read the sources cited in the ACLU paper.
/r/MensRights13/06/17 02:27 PM

This continues to be corollary evidence. "We call observed differences disparity, although based on the evidence we cannot attribute disparate decision-making to racial bias." From your first paper. When I have time I'll go through the sources in the ACLU paper and show you that they've cherry picked statistics from the sources to fit their narrative.

Did you just post an opinion piece in the NYT that cites a "study" done by the Sarasota Herald-Tribune as a source? This "study" is purely corollary. Surprisingly enough, being civil is a good way to get laid. Occasionally you'll run into ladies trying to give you some shit to see if you've got a spine. If you give it right back to them they knock it off. I'm not sure why he's talking so fast, that might just be how he rolls. Being high energy is is something that PUA coaches push. He might be taking it a little too far. I'm more relaxed by nature.

Talk to everyone. Be interested in what they're doing. Make eye contact. Be friendly. Ask situationally appropriate questions. Follow the threads people throw out. Touch her arm/hand/wrist when appropriate. Ask her for her number. These are PUA fundamentals. You could fuck 300 women a year just with this list.

why is mortification of the flesh one of Christianity's most basic tenets? What purpose does it serve? So having a husband was a serious advantage? It seems less like recovering from something and more like adjusting to a new norm set about by technological advances.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/15 06:03 PM
1

To what end did the church perpetuate sexual shame? Is your implication that unwed mother didn't face hardships, other than shame, that we'd mothers would have faced? Wouldn't having a husband in a time where women couldn't work or own property be a serious advantage over not having a husband?

I have friends who have met their committed partners on Tinder. I'm not sure any of them are ever going to get married. I still haven't seen a reasonable argument why a modern man would find a high n number undesirable.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/15 04:47 PM
2

This would be a bad economic decision. You wouldn't hire a pilot who's only flown one kind of plane or a mechanic who's only worked in one model of car, right? Why would you want an inexperienced sexual partner? I would argue that the highest valued men, the ultra wealthy and good looking, go out of their way to find women with the most sexual experience.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/15 03:36 PM
2

It seems like your argument is rooted in the idea that only high quality men can be sluts. This is total BS. You don't have to be rich, good looking, or a rocket scientist to sleep with as many women as you want to. It sounds like you're afraid that a woman who's been with many partners is more likely to cuckold you.

I'd like to see a source for "preference most men have". I'm pretty sure all of my male friends who are hooking up with 15 chicks a month on Tinder are aware that that comes at the cost of those ladies hooking up with 15 dudes a month.

Religion has been the law for a great deal of our history. That sexual shame served a very important purpose. It's hard for us to imagine how costly sex outside of wedlock could have been in a time without birth control. If you've ever watched Teen Mom, imagine all of those hardships combined with living in a pre-industrial society. Doesn't sound awesome does it?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/15 03:18 PM
8

OP stated that 95 percent of slut shaming came from men. If OP is going to state it like it's a fact, then it's relevance should be in play in a debate.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/15 05:41 AM
3

Isn't this a historical preference? If a woman had multiple partners when your title and inheritance were important you ran the risk of someone other than your offspring inheriting your tract. Also, the cost of pregnancy for women in pre-birth control days was extremely high. A social norm set to protect women from the high cost of child bearing doesn't seem that out of line. We've only lived in a world with safe, legal birth control for 50 years and a month and see how much has changed.

I'm guessing you're looking for too much. Don't over think your interactions. Approach confidently, open, assume attraction, then listen. People are most interested by themselves. Maintain strong eye contact and smile while you're listening. Find a reason (nice ring, who does your manicure, nice bangles, etc.) to touch their hand or elbow to further the rapport building. Don't invest your time unless they seem interested.

Jealousy is typically related to a deficiency mindset. Your brain thinks there are a finite number of women I can connect with, if I lose this one all hope is lost. Seriously, WTF fuck is with all of the upvotes for women encouraging men not to approach and reinforcing the stereotype of a man approaching as some sort of perverted criminal. These posts belong in a different subreddit. This is the new "Hey guys I have oneitis, what do?"
/r/seduction11/07/12 02:07 AM
5

It is. The problem is some of the AFCs in this reddit are hyper-sensitive to discomfort and may misread it as disinterest. Having a girl poster tell them that they're fucking creepy for showing interest isn't going to help them with approach anxiety.

The only thing good in her post is "offer her your hand". That advice is everywhere in this forum. Realize that everyone is a little uncomfortable in social situations and it almost never has anything to do with you. Approaching with confidence and the intent of adding value to someone's day/night is a way to alleviate some of this discomfort. To get rid of the feeling of being creepy that many men are socialized to feel, remember that you're adding value to peoples' lives by interacting with th…

Why the fuck are you guys upvoting this? The last paragraph is the least helpful advice I've ever seen in this reddit. Telling guys who have a heightened sense of discomfort to eject if they sense discomfort then reinforcing the stigma of them being a creepy stalker dude for attempting to get out of their comfort zone? This is why fisherman don't learn to fish from trout. There are hundred of good posts on Seddit on how to approach in a club. Search YouTube for dancing in a club with ladies and …

Possessiveness is about scarcity. Men are socialized with the idea that sex is a commodity and the supply is short--We can talk more about the reasons why later if you're interested. The most important thing that you can learn in PUA is that relationships (sexual or otherwise) are available in abundance. Sex is free and easy when you understand the game. When you start to live in this state of abundance you stop with the posessessiveness. You're no longer plagued with the idea that there's only …

I think a lot of it comes from misunderstanding what it is that women want. AFCs think women want you to fawn over them and put them on a sex proof pedestal. The truth is women want to be challenged. Assholes challenge them. The thing a lot of AFCs don't understand is you don't have to be an asshole to challenge them. You have to change your mindset about what it is women want.

Being good at conversation isn't about telling someone all the thing you know. Being good at conversation is about listening and drawing the other person out. You should learn to ask pertinent questions and how to be fully engaged in what the other party is saying on different levels. I find that asking myself what's interesting about this person helps a lot. Stop thinking about what you're going to say and just listen to the other person. Stop trying to impress them with how much stuff you know…

Holy shit, are you fucking retarded or have I fallen into a parallel troll universe? There are situationally appropriate times for things. Walking up to a girl you don't know and saying "Fine I'll have sex with you" isn't situationally appropriate. It's not cocky funny, it's just inappropriate. Now, if you knew this girl and were bantering with her and she said "you're really funny" and his reply was "fine I'll have sex with you" that would be cocky funny. Same thing goes for tit grabbing. If yo…

I was trying to make the point that violating someone's boundaries is violating someone's boundaries. I was trying to make the violation bigger so people would understand that many people see a verbal assault like this in the same light as you might see a physical assault.
/r/seduction09/06/12 09:33 PM
-4

This is why this sub gets a bad rap. This isn't cocky funny. He has admitted to knowing he's out of line but continuing. That's an asshole thing to do. There's a cocky funny time to grab someone's tit but it's a situational thing.
/r/seduction09/06/12 09:10 PM
-2

Approaching someone with the premeditated intention of violating their boundaries is clearly manipulation. That's not a catch phrase it's a douche thing to do. Imagine if a dude a lot bigger than you approached you from behind, grabbed a hold of your hips, bent you over and simulated sex with you. How would you feel?
/r/seduction09/06/12 08:57 PM
-4

There's a difference between having the courage to approach someone and engage them and walking up and violating their boundaries intentionally. This isn't sexual playfulness, that comes later once you've established some level of comfort. It would be like walking up and grabbing a woman's tit. Would you call that courageous? I'd hope you'd think the guy is a douche.

They always look away first, now. I've learned to internalize the uncomfortable feeling and ride the exchange of energy. I use it to help remind myself that I'm having this interaction to create value for both of us. You're giving people something by approaching, you're making their lives better. It helps to take away some of the slimy feeling men are socialized to have. You don't have to feel like your interaction is taking something from someone.
/r/seduction03/05/12 06:37 AM

Its as much about how you approach as what you say. Head up, shoulders back, strong connfident voice and you'll be alright. If you're worried girls will think you're creepy make ten approaches tomorrow and write down how many seemed put off by it and how many seemed stoked. My guess is you'll get about 9 stokes and one crabby one. Try to remember by approaching you're adding value to someone's day. You're not there to take something but to give something.

Try to take the nervous energy and FEEL it as it's happening. Then pretend it's a wave or a bull you're trying to ride. When you feel like you're gonna fall off (break eye contact) try to hold it for another second. Make a game out of it, think of the hotter girls as the bigger bulls (waves) and try to ride the shit out of them. Protip: Think of what the girl looks like when she's about to orgasm. May as well tape your dick to you asshole and walk around like a woman. Take those nervous feelings you're feeling and channel them into confidence. Set a mental alarm and when these feelings trigger the alarm remember that this nervous feeling is supposed to be motivating. Do it once or twice and every time the alarm goes off you'll turn that nervousness into it's more natural excitement. Then you can take the tape off your dick and walk around like a man.

Have I stumbled into some kind of a damn subwarp? Seduction is the process of enticing a person to engage in sexual behavior. We live in a time with a myriad of options for safe sex. Go out and talk to everyone. Don't worry about being alpha. Pay attention to what people are doing and converse with them about something relevant. WATCH the response you get. You're going to see you're adding value to people's lives, making them better. If this is all you do you'll see increased action from people. You may come to find that if you don't spend so much time trying to treat women as 'equals' you'll add value to their lives as well.
