To be fair most of the civilized world gets paid maternity. In my country we get paid family leave for 3 years. It's not much money monthly but it's something. That said the OP's unionize sahms is pretty terminally online take.

Who cares. You end up alone. That's it. You are not competing with 10/10 men. You are competing with being single.

Western men =/= US. There's a big difference between even UK, French and Nordic men. Let alone those from US.

Have you seen US politicians recently? I don't even live there yet I've heard vice presidents comments about childless cat ladies. Spinsters were always looked down upon.

She is entitled to half of everything in divorce. There is no law that says he has to give her money during marriage. And many couples don't comingle their finances. There are also couples that are not married (yet have kids) The timer is opportunity cost - not wage.

Shopping for kids has additional task of keeping track of their clothes and supplies as they grow out, use them up. The shopping part isn't hard.

Housework isn't hard there's just a lot of it. Which can make it overwhelming, especially when you add kids.

If her husband earns an income, SHE IS BEING PAID. This is nonsensical. He is getting paid the same amount regardless of her labour or even marital status. The labour she is doing is literally not paid, even if she has access to family finances.

There were no safety standards for jobs. Women did whatever was needed of them. And some types of work that seem trivial these days like laundry were hours of backbreaking hard work. And women were also doing all kinds of dangerous jobs - like mining - it was later even prohibited by laws across Europe during 19th and 20th century. Together with kids being banned from that kind of work. And while men fought wars - when there were ones to be fought - women had childbirth to deal with on regular b…

If you don't have height status and confidence then those things do matter. You can't just grow taller, or be a millionaire, but there are other things you can change. If you are handsome asshole sure you'll still get chicks. If you are ugly asshole you'll get squat.

It probably stems from lots of the manosphere's "solutions" to the relationship issues being rapey adjacent. Make loneliness is a legit issue that deserves attention. Pseudo alpha males who put into young guys' heads that females should be submissive to them and that they are entitled to their bodies is not it.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/26 07:47 PM

Meanwhile Europeans are panicking because our pension systems are based on at least sustained population. The ratio of taxpayer to pensioner is getting unsustainable. It IS a problem. A future problem, but still.

And I had a reaction to vaccine that almost sent me into kidney failure. I still vaccinate my kids because anecdotes are not statistics. And even with ugly episode of PPD after my first child it was still worth having them. Life sometimes happens and fucks you up regardless of kids.

You are greatly underselling the benefits. Children are very meaningful and enrich your life with love like no one else. They are little assholes but if I had a do over with what I know now I would have the two of them anyway. In grand scheme of things stuff like breastfeeding or pregnancy are very temporary setbacks. And who even cares about last name? Some of those negatives are not given. And you're gonna get old and wrinkly anyway.

A is obvious. But...well what specific things do you think the current women are not taught in regards to their partners? I thought people are focusing on the boys because their education in that aspect is lacking in comparison.

I hate the "what could they possibly have in common" thing and it is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Idk Sharon maybe they both like trains. Old and young people are allowed to share interests and values, we all live on the same planet. Me and my partner both played Dota and watched anime at the time we started dating. /rant

Imo regular porn creators don't encroach into the normal spaces as much and therefore are not as annoying. Lots of OF creators do promo in no porn spaces and they basically spam the space. When I want to look at cosplay or fashion I don't want 80% of it being thirst trap. It's annoying.

Nobody in their right mind is putting the most precious person in their life for adoption. You don't just decide to send a 4 year old with a suitcase and off you go to a new family. They are a human not a couch you sell on craigslist. How cruel would that be? Not to mention absolutely traumatizing for both and especially the child.

That because general view in Europe is that 16 year old is an adolescent - closer to young adult. In my country we give 15 year olds ID card, age of consent and partial criminal liability. People talking about 16 year olds as children always sounds weird AF to me. And it's funny they think it's so obvious or something. It's not. This is very culture based.

Why does it need to involve comparing humans to dogs? Because the basic assumption is that men obviously ought to behave better than an animal, and some of them fckin aren't. The comparison is pretty apt when it comes to rapists.

Also housewives have a life outside of the house. Office drama isn't some ultimate conversation topic. I'm more likely to talk with my husband about some news article I read or a curious situation I encountered on reddit. It gets a good convo started just the same.

This is bad strategy because women overall will be even more vary of opening to intimacy when they've been burned by lying assholes who pump and dump them. And there will be more barriers before he proved his commitment. Also good chunk of women don't engage in hookups and are only looking for relationship.

If the guy meets the standard for hookup he would know. Nobody is lying to him.

I have a relationship that on the surface level for your average redditor would be like a whole ass red banner. But I am perfectly happy and have respectful amazing marriage. Circumstances and small things can change these dynamics a lot. Age gap relationships certainly have bigger potential to be unhealthy, but that doesn't make them so by default. At the point this happened they were not even a couple anymore. Nonverbal can work just fine but you gotta have the other party reciprocate and escalate step by step, not take an elevator straight down and them act all surprised it's creepy.

It's not about mother figures once the baby is born. It's all the other developmental stuff that happens while the baby is inside of the mom. They know her voice, her smell, her heartbeat etc. It's good for their psychological well-being.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/09/25 04:57 AM

Having gestated two little humans I can't imagine artificial being any good for development of kids even if they could sustain them on biological level. There is so much other stuff that goes with pregnancy that is important for kids bond with their mom. The way the baby is lulled as she walks, the sound of her heartbeat, her voice and that's just the basics. You can't just stick fetus into a pod.

You could say the same thing about cheating without kids. "If they knew they would have divorced and not shared further marital assets" yet we don't treat cheating like 'marital fraud'.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/25 09:08 PM

If they are married then that money legally belongs to both of them. So we can't say the non-dad lost money on the kid when it was the "couple's money" in the first place.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/25 08:54 PM

she would be thinking twice before lying about it And how are you going to prove that she willingly lied to him? It's not like women that are cheating are getting paternity tests to be sure that it is in fact the other guy's.

Okay but this is supposed to be your LIFE partner. Who are you supposed to be trusting but them? And the Verification part is to done be BEFORE kids. People are shitty I don't blame men for being doubtful. But it's understandable their partner gets upset over this. And the notion that their partner is not supposed to be upset is what is stupid.

I'm not saying there isn't paternal fraud. I'm just saying you better be darn sure before throwing that accusation towards your presumably life partner because it's relationship altering.

Lots of the cases where people are upset it ends up with some kind of probation. Even when it is pretty clear that rape happened or when it happened to a minor. We have a popular saying that you get stricter sentencing for drugs than rape.

There are often medialised cases where the sentencing doesn't seem to make sense. In my country we have ridiculously light sentencing for rape and it's often in news as wtf. Child exists. Child needs stuff and to eat. Option A) state raises taxes and helps support the destitute child Option B) state makes the man responsible pay for the child Option C) let the kid starve, increase negative externalities of child poverty (cause everybody loves that right?) Most people, MEN included, don't want to pay for stranger's kids. So the state makes the guy pay. The woman is usually already paying so they just equalize it between the parents. Why is the average man getting less? If he's in a relationship he gets regular sex from the woman he presumably desires. Men in relationship are the ones having most sex, not the ones who do ONS. And relationship and companionship is also something desired by men, so it's not like some burden. If he needs to woo her well that's to compensate being less attractive. Because he scores lower on her threshold scale. You're asking what the woman brings but If the guy wants a specific woman idk why she…

These unfuckable men shouldn't be providing for another man kids, shouldn't be paying dates when these other guys have sex without nothing provided or efforts. They are free not to. They want to have access to women tho, which is why they do it. Like seriously nobody is forcing them. As I said those "other guys" do bring other benefits that make the risk acceptable. If men don't have those specific benefits then they need to bring other type of reward to balance the risk.

If they don't want to accommodate then that's a red flag. For example in my country you need to work to be able to pay social security/pension fund. We just hit it off and happened to be different age. Now we're married and at the point where the age gap is irrelevant. When you are an older dude purposely aiming for young girls with some dubious intentions of course people are gonna think it's creepy. At the same time there are plenty of women that like havin…

Sure. It's only their CHILD. Lots of people would die for them but dude can't spend some money. Out of court arrangements can be set up 50/50 too.

I agree that this is an issue and it's unfair. I don't have a good solution tho because there are conflicting rights since parental obligation isn't towards the woman who made that decision but towards the child who is totally clueless and blameless. Imo paper abortion could be viable with sturdy enough social net, but that would mean paying more taxes which I am told is very unamerican. AFAIK many people don't even want to give kids free school lunches, let alone financially support kids in oth…

I am European and out abortion debate is pretty much over. I also don't see how banning abortion actually helps the men as they lose the option to not become fathers that way. I don't think abortion hinges on 'becoming parent', both parties consent to that possibility at sex point, but on question of bodily autonomy. Women have that option because it directly relates to their health. You can't force a guy to give blood, even if they caused somebody an injury, say in a car accident. Yet people wa…

Most men who pay CS consented to the child being born and left relationships after it was born. You can't just traumatize all these kids by being adopted out, that's way more harmful than having absent parent pay some money for the kid they created but abandoned. All these laws are to the benefit of the most vulnerable party, that being the child. There ale plenty of dads taking care of child with absent mothers, it would be similarly bizare to say they should adopt these kids rather than get ch…
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/25 01:39 PM

It’s not too late to learn to code. It is. As wife of CS engineer the market is fucked right now. But nevermind that, single parent has big constrains because of the child and can't be as picky with work. You gotta do send offs, pick ups, sick days and all the other little parenting things.

/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/25 05:27 PM

Yeah, people keep talking about how "courts fuck over dads" but most custody arrangements are mediated outside of court and dads don't fight for their kids.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/25 05:13 PM

It's not for "women" it's for the kids. And it's a compensation for not doing your part...for the kid.

My traditional role doesn't have to be "submissive". That is actually pretty different from the rest of the things mentioned. I birth kids, I cook meals, I take care of the household. All those things are "something in return". Those things have value outside of me being submissive. Which I am not.

Is there any reasonable assumption that unless the child lives in abhorrent conditions that they parent is not spending the child support money to cover the expenses? Like if it costs 600 a month and you chip in 100 they should have to track all of that adding even more mental load onto the parent that is already busy parenting? 99/100 times the CS is a drop in a bucket.

Child supports is justified unless it is spent on the needs of other people instead of your kids. Lack of transparency can be a problem. Considering that the parent spends money on child anyway (and way more than the support covers) this becomes non issue. Just because those specific 20bucks they got on child support covered something else doesn't mean they didn't spend 20bucks on the child and then some. Also parental labour. AFAIK most folks get child support amount that is pretty laughable co…

I don't think you know what bodily autonomy means. Nobody can harvest your body parts to use for another person use your insides as life support. No. Working isn't infringing on your bodily autonomy just because you use your body for it.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/25 11:42 AM
2

That just makes situation worse for men who are then forced to become fathers anyway and don't get an opt out via mother. My argument isn't about parental rights anyway. It's about bodily autonomy and use of organs. You don't die or are physically harmed from paying money.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/25 11:21 AM
2

You don't get to consent to every single thing that happens to you. State still puts tons of obligations on you like taxes, licences or paperwork. That's just life happening to you. Even if state strips you of parental rights you will never cease to be a father. If guys don't want to pay child support they should advocate for better allocation of their taxes towards child benefits so that ther isn't need for them to pay child support.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/25 10:25 AM
2

Nobody is legally forcing you to do a job that causes you harm. And you do have a RIGHT to find a job that doesn't put your health at risk. You can quit your dangerous job at any time. Ain't that great? State can't even force you to donate blood, yet wants the same from women that act as a life support for fetuses. I agree it's not fair that guys are forced to become parents but this money-body comparison sucks.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/25 09:49 AM

That's just capitalism and taxes. Not bodily autonomy. Your money is not your body. And we all need to pay money for things we don't want. It's not the same as someone taping into your kidney.

You can rescind consent to give up your organs at any point even right before the surgery even if the other party dies. Women shouldn't be forced to have their body and organs used as an incubator when you wouldn't force it in any other circumstance.

Yeah the problem here is the overuse. It happens to all these buzzwords and eventually it does hurt real victims. Like anyone in age gap, even legal and consensual gets called groomer, predator and whatnot. I think it's fine to be cautious when it comes to power imbalance but it's dumb to automatically assume abuse and harm. If we are going to end domestic violence then we need to focus on the abusers more and figure out how to stop children from becoming abusers once they reach adulthood. We aren't going to end abuse because people are fallible. Lots of the time abusers aren't some moustache twirling masterminds who chose to be like this. There has to be some point people gain full legal rights. I don’t disagree with 15 being the driving permit age It's interesting how very cultural this is. In my country it's reverse. You can bang whoever you want as soon as you are 15 (which is a big social milestone tied to getting an ID and partial criminal responsibility) But at the same time we wouldn't entrust them with cars and you can only drive from 18. And since it can be deadly driving sounds like much bigger deal to me.

Idk, it's just common it is. Why is laundry dedicated to women?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/24 05:13 AM
7

Also, if it’s his chore, it’s up to him to decide when he needs to to get done, as his domain If full trash is preventing me from cooking and cleaning then it is my problem and I can't wait for him to just decide to do it whenever. If trash is so full I have nowhere to put potato peels it's stopping the whole pipeline. And no woman shouldn't just 'do it herself' when she has her own bulk of chores.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/24 05:10 AM
12

If the job is divided as his job then the simple information that the gutters are full should suffice. Trash is common and much more urgent chore dedicated to men. If wife informs her guy that trash is full she shouldn't have to plead with him to also do his task. If she adds that it's urgent it also shouldn't take 2-3 business days. I doubt the husband asks her to do the laundry every time.

Because a man has already been vetted by a different woman and is thus desirable because he is seen as a capable partner. He actually becomes less desirable over time if he strays because that defeats the point.

The age of consent law in my country is for sex. Such as inserting penis into vagina. Which is a temporary activity and said penis will end up being removed resulting in no lasting change to the body. Unlike permanent things like tattoos. Which is why those are only allowed after reaching age of majority.

Your coworkers are dumb and I personally don't have anything about passport bros. That said abuse and exploitation of people as part of sex tourism in less developed countries is a real problem. For context, I'm from CZ and while it's a "pasport bro" destination, it's not really that much of a problem here. Local women will drink wimpy Westerners under the table and kick them in the balls if they are annoying. I will side eye you extra hard if you are here to misuse our age of consent laws and f…

Ye, made available by pregnancy, a special ability that men don't get.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/24 08:39 PM

On the other side of that coin is the fact that It's extremely unethical to force woman to abort the pregnancy, because again this is an issue of bodily autonomy. Which easily trumps people's desire not to pay money for their kids. We have rights when it comes to our bodies that are way more inherent than the rights to our money. Which is why it's way worse crime if I stab you than if I steal some of your money. If the child exists then both parents are financially responsible for it. If a woman…
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/24 07:53 PM

If that's where I make my choice, how come she can kill my child without my consent? She's sustaining the child with her organs. And we generally don't force people to sustain others with their organs even if it means death. Pregnancy is damaging to the body and women should not be forced to incur that damage on behalf of another person. We can't force dads to give kidney to their kids either.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/24 07:27 PM

That's not how division of assets in marriage work in most countries. Both parties are entitled to MARITAL assets. Which are those gained DURING the marriage. You can marry cheaply if you want. Most people are not Elon Musk and their alimonies won't cover a 2 person household. Single moms work. And if all the dude is doing is paying alimony and not doing the work of parenting while the woman is taking care of the child she's worse off not him who skips all the actual childcare.

The first one doesn't work. I live in a country where I get 3 years of paid parental leave, it's not amazing money but it's good enough. On top of that the employer has to guarantee you your job back during that time. People still don't have kids. The cost of living and housing crisis are really failing families at the moment but people still don't have that many kids regardless because your QOL will go down with kids, and you can't compensate that with money.

It's just the system being set up on the balance of risk/benefit to the patient when it comes to health results. It's not done on purpose with the birth control specifically, all medication is tested this way.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/01/24 09:21 PM

That's because women have different risks associated with pregnancy therefore the way the tests are set up there is more benefit. Male "health" is not impacted by woman being pregnant therefore the medication has stricter requirements.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/01/24 08:07 PM

Eh, we have it pretty okay when it comes to welfare and have low child poverty but guys still have to pay child support. If you don't want to pay child support then take care of your kid? Problem is that when abortion happens then there is no child, but if it doesn't then the child exists and it has its own rights as a human being.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/01/24 08:05 PM

It's 10-22 percent but those numbers are usually from babies that are tested (meaning there was doubt to begin with) not all babies. And the reason testing is banned in France is numerous and more to do with the way France criminalized handling and testing of genetic material.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/12/23 12:57 PM

It does for women because they put themselves in vulnerable position with childrearing so they need stability with their 'provider' partner. I remember my husband going to gym and he just went 3 times a week did his 1,5h set and other than protein shake didn't do anything special. Did he have Henry Cavill abs? Nope. Did he look great and had trouble fitting his pecs in his old shirt? Yup. The thing is. Since he has a desk job it was pretty much the bare minimum for having healthy physique. And imo that's what women appreciate over jacked dude bro. Problem is that social media is giving unrealistic image of what muscles look like.

I get what you mean but at the same time it's not like many men were able to self determine their life during lots of the history either. For example in my country Serfdom Patent happened only in 1781 and until then the regular folks of Austria-Hungary had very little control over the larger aspects of their lives, both men and women. They couldn't freely move, get married or put their children to school etc. The patriarch was the Lord, not John the Potter from next door. US is very young countr…

You do realize that women regularly worked hard labor in the fields and then in factories? Most of history is not 50's America and most women were poor and had to work. Your carrots don't care about gender.

It's not like it's only women that are mostly fat. The distribution of obese people is fairly even between the genders. So your chances probably remain consistent.

I've been with my SO for 15 years. Last week he burned out from overworking and stress. His brain straight up shut down, couldn't do anything with all the brain fog. We troubleshooted his feelings, health troubles, work life balance. I'm here to support him in whatever he needs, he's doing the same. No decrease in attraction. The threads on reddit suffer from self selection bias. Happy people that communicate with their partners properly won't respond to complain as often.

It's a bad thing because he wants the woman to go through invasive and shitty procedure because he's a sexist. You find the gender in 2nd trimester, that's way too far along for casual abortion. It's not about the fetus.

/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/22 05:38 AM

It's not regulated in Canada but good luck finding a provider that would do the procedure after 24 week viability line. And 9 out of 10 abortions are done by week 12. Imo if at least those 12 weeks were guaranteed then there wouldn't be as much of an issue.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/22 10:36 PM
1

You didn’t cause the organ failure of the born child and donating an organ is unreasonable. You could. Let's say you cause an accident and they lose a kidney as a result. State still can't compel you to give up yours for them. And funny thing about donations, even if you consent to them, you can always change your mind and revoke that consent right up to the point of the actual procedure. That's how much state normally respects bodily autonomy.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/22 10:27 PM

Being alive is not the criteria here though. We have no qualms with killing things that have way more sentience. Your bacon has more feelings on the matter than a fetus.

/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/22 07:38 PM

Rich IT guys?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/22 01:41 PM
1

Depends. It's 12 weeks here for any reason, which I think is appropriate. And second trimester interruptions are for medical reasons and defects. 93% of abortions in the US are first trimester anyway so 12 weeks are sufficient. It is the hearbeat bills and low access to care that are bullshit. I'm pro-choice as they come, but disposing of fetus without brain and a viable healthy baby are not the same. When they can survive without uterus it's not really about bodily autonomy anyway.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/22 10:49 AM
1

But most people unable to access abortion through other means will be those of low socioeconomic standing, which will affect predominantly minorities. Ya really think conservatives want more black babies to replace them?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/22 10:40 AM

guys perspective though, nothing has changed If women will be less willing to have sex then that means less sex for men.

Not all relationships work out. Imo people are more focused on this with successful people who are later able to get hotter gfs as if it's a switcheroo. But I would assume the original relationship would have fallen out either way and they got together with someone else. Plenty of people stick to their original partner, plenty of people leave the 'upgrade' partner.

If the guy doesn't want to get married it just seems like he's one leg outta door already. That's not a strong commited relationship. The marriage is a symbolic gesture. Kids. I would never have kids without being married. That would just be dumb on my part.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/21 07:21 AM

That is literally the court case I'm referring to. There is no direct law that you have to have marital sex. No fine, no jail. At most she was deemed "at fault" for the divorce because of archaic interpretation but there is ultimately no difference whether you're at fault for divorce or not.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/21 09:44 PM
12

from France who told me that in his country, by law sex is a marital duty. Which is bullshit in the first place lol. There is no law. There is a divorce case where a French woman lost and has been found "at fault" for the divorce in part because she failed at her 'marital duty' sex but that isn't the same as a law and the case is being brought to European Court of Human Rights because it's stupid in the first place.

Well, where's the lie tho. If he's getting some, and they enjoy each other is it really a loss for him that she's not 'thirsting' for him like she would for Chris Hemsworth? Also I can't imagine a guy being an ~Alpha~ when he's socially quite a looser/broke.

Because eventually the girls you have fwb with will leave you for the husband. Humans in general crave emotional intimacy. Even men want someone to share their life with. Cause otherwise they end up old and lonely.

I am a SAHM and for the past several years my husband has had literally ONE permanent chore. Just take out the trash. Still waiting for the time when he doesn't need several reminders. Men probably self sustain off nagging or smt.

The funniest thing is that my husband considers all the stuff I buy useless but then appreciates the result with 90% of those things. I bought etagere for our fruit on the kitchen isle. He saw it and said: "This is the most useless thing ever. Why did you buy it?" "Because you never notice the stuff in the fridge. It's going to be useful cause you'll have it right infront of you." "No this is super useless." "You can tell me I told you so if you won't use it." A week later he admitted it was an …

I think one part is cleaning and the other is small stuff that makes the upkeep harder for the other party. Say you clean the shower glass but then the guy will not use the squeegee for the 1 minute and thus you need to clean the shower glass more often with more effort. Or they hoard dishes, leave clothes on the floor instead of laundry basket, don't use coaster so you gotta clean the water marks...again. In all fairness I am absolutely positive he is not malicious or doing this stuff on purpose. He took very good care of me and the baby. And I absolutely believe that he didn't notice because I know his spacial awareness is shit be it cleaning or video games (I literally have to help him find super obvious stuff in video games sometimes) I just find it baffling how he could not notice and then be annoyed cause 'I was supposed to tell him'. It's such weird excuse when they're just embarrassed.

I don't think it's subjective whether trash can be closed or no. Whether laundry basket is full or not, or whether soap dispenser has more soap or no. Dishwasher finished, it needs to be taken out so you can put new stuff in. That's an objective fact. Some chores are binary.

My husband took over basic cleaning during my postpartum and he let some green stuff grow in our sink drain. Apparently I didn't tell him that the WHOLE sink needs to be cleaned. Ye, I don't see why career and LTR would be incompatible. Your marriage has much larger chance of succeeding if you're already been with the person for some time. When you are in your 30's you are rushing into building family so you marry fast and have kids fast. That doesn't sound wise. Sure I married in my 20's, but it was after 10 years of LTR. 2 years, which is common for older couples, seems like such a short time when you are supposed to spend the rest of your life together.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/08/21 09:08 PM
1

Maybe that might be the big mismatch here. From what I read here most women on this sub would say they are married to kind men and are more LTR oriented. And we are not the demo a frustrated college guy who's looking for ONS or a Squeeze matches with relationship goal wise.

Specific titles are irrelevant. Don't matter whether it's School Days or In Another World with my Smartphone.

Just because you don't like them or are too young to know how influential they were doesn't mean they are not staple of the genre. Or which is the main point, that their target demographic of those romcoms is indeed MALE. There's miles of difference between Love Hina and something like Ouran. Clannad is a classic. Made for men. Based on a VN. Made for MEN. Just like shitton of harem anime. That GUYS watch. Women don't argue over mother flipping 'best girl'. Re:Zero, which most people would go fo…

Shield Hero came out super recently, it's good and popular but it's not something I would qualify as most popular, it's also deconstructing the tropes somewhat so it's atypical of the norm. And Konosuba IS poking fun of the best girl waifu thing. The most popular isekai is Sword Art Online with it's bajilion series. Back in the day stuff like Love Hina, Onegai Teacher, heck mother flipping Clannad were 'guys anime'. If you dont watch anime, why even talk about?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/21 04:15 PM
4

Considering young guys are the main demographic of harem genre I'd take a wild guess that a lot of them watch it. Every isekai has harem included too. And the hero gets the girl in male oriented shows is basically the same thing. Case in point Peter Parker.

don´t you have a libido yourself? Having a libido and having a libido comparable to a man is different. From what I hear about from some of my friends men want their wohoo time much more often. So women are obviously oversaturated. You can like sex and not feel like having it. You can have some hormonal shifts that switch you from wow amazing to okay whatever. All completely within norm.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/21 09:12 PM

You can't cook and clean when in zoo. It takes them about 3 minutes to be entertained by drawing a picture after which they want to do stuff with you so you can't clean or cook properly even if you get them to help and they obviously should not be watching Disney chanel for hours. My husband WFHs so he knows how our day is every day and he'd much rather work and tells me so regularly.

There is a whole phenomenon call foodie dates where a lot of women do this. Wow this is weird. I didn't hear about it over here. Well one of the reason that comes to mind is that many times that violence itself is not gendered for men. When you get mugged and shot by another man he didn't target you for your gender. When you get kidnapped, raped and murdered as a woman the guy kind of did. People don't really warn women about muggers and whatnot because of the mugging itself, but more because of the risk of sexual violence. And women on women crime is pretty rare. While male on male crime is not.

No. And for sure no with people smarter than your average Joe. The whole premise sounds really wrong. Procreation is pretty important to your "success" as a human species but as we evolved there are many things from survival to self realisation that are just as important. Did I learn to cook to attract a man? No not really, I just like to eat good food. And the man wanted me anyway, so why would I put in the effort in cooking for the sake of procreation?

/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/21 03:47 PM

Yup, there's a good reason why monogamy is the predominant system in majority of successful civilizations. Even in polygamic societies like with Arabs you have men dedicating their resources to few selected women, and they are obligated to treat them equally.

Idk man, the difference between my husband before and after a haircut and shave is quite big. With his overgrown hair he looks pretty shaggy, but looks much sleeker after. You would need to resolve the issue of financial abortion within the time window of the abortion terms. It would be pretty harmful if you have guys stringing woman along beyond the abortion deadline and then bailed without any responsibility. At the same time you would need for woman to inform the guy within the same window.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/21 08:36 PM

The problem with the deterrent is it might not be very effective creating more negative externalities along the way. It's the same with the mandatory paternity test. It's good morally, but ultimately it just creates single family household whose kids do worse meaning worse results from future taxpayers and more strain on the social system.

Yet many men don't. And I find the argument that they wouldn't even try because they think court favours women dubious. It's their kid, if they cared and loved them they would fight for them. If the court does actually screw them over then fuck that unfair noise.

It works like that in my country. My old hairdresser had her ex-husband do that, he wanted 50% custody so he wouldn't have to pay CS. It lasted few months till he noped out and pays now. Cause taking care of his own son was too much work and not enough fun I guess.

You can be both feminist (in the strictest term not the rainbow haired crazy SJW) and want equality overall and still be "traditional woman" that takes care of kids and home and embraces the feminine. Acknowledging the systems of gender roles does not really necessitates going against the gender norms as long as the woman enjoys it and chooses it. Unless you mean full blown tradcon in that case good luck lol.

No, not right. Women are not immune to idiocy. They certainly don't do it because it's oh so great idea. They usually have no other (less miserable) choice.

If a woman assaults an adult man - not a minor child, not elderly, not handicapped - a capable adult man, she needs a gun. Or you know, drugs, alcohol, blackmail material. Rape doesn't have to be violent.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/19 07:08 PM

Yes. It should be just as serious. In fact I was shocked to find out that it's not so in the US. In Czech penal code rape/sexual assault is any form of forced/coerced intercourse. I don't see why it should not be. If there was a girl like that I would be quite disturbed. I don't think men really wish to be coerced to sex. Most of the times those "yay lucky hi5" cases are when there was "consensual" sex but not legally so. Like with minors.

Frequenting subs like AITA (or JNMIL or RaisedbyaNarcisist) I see men getting empathy quite often. One particual comes to mind when woman was asking AITA for moving to another state and wanting to take kids with her. She lost custody and kids hate her for wanting to take them away from dad. Everybody was saying she's awful and were sympathetic to the dad, that she wanted to mess him up for another guy.

It's withing normal BMI range by 1lbs. You can fluctuate that withing half a day. I'm considered slim and I'm 135 and inch taller than you. And that is in Europe not the fatland of US. Heck I do TFP as a model so pretty sure I'm not a chub. You might want to check with your doctor if you struggle with body image. Surely 5-10 pounds wouldn't hurt. Because you know for sure they all weight their food and count calories properly. Somehow. If they both want a baby but the dude changes his mind when the baby is done then she's stuck with the baby. She has no control over that. It's not like she is gonna be putting 6 m/o up for adoption.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/19 08:09 PM
9

Women only have that control for very limited amount of time. If the dude bails after she doesn't really have many choices left.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/19 03:19 AM

Plenty of men get cold feet when it's waaay too late. First they are all 'I can do it let's have baby' and they are all like 'you know what I'm not ready' 5 months into the pregnancy. I guess lady has an option of adoption but gosh when you were already looking forward to baby and love it that's so friggin cruel.

Most people don't do the thing they studied at Uni anyways. I certainly consider higher ed criticality important to me despite not working. But working would simply bring less utility to our family unit.

My husband says things like that along with comments about "kitchen chains" and "quarterly sex quota". He just thinks he's funny, it's adorable.

To some people it seems weird. Like penis and baby in the same place weird. I didn't mind but it was still a bit weird.

To be fair having have had sex at some point and regularly having sex are 2 different things. So that number of have nots has to be higher.

I don't think super low n count is a win either. Neither me or SO have past experience, doesn't bother us much but we probably missed out a bit. Hey maybe there's a threesome in our future.

/r/PurplePillDebate22/03/19 10:27 PM

Yeaaa my husband would say otherwise. He is literally that shy guy I approached. Be a girl and play videogames, pick a nice IT guy. Since those are coveted traits.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/03/19 09:27 PM

They want women to be easy but just for them not for the other guys :D Tbh not that I'm looking to get back on the market but if I'm not worth for the guy the effort to do the whole social mating dance thing then that would likely be a turn off because I want a guy for whom I'd be worth it. (That and I'm uncomfortable about intimacy with strangers.)

Well my flair says SAHM.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/03/19 08:03 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate22/03/19 07:50 PM

Perhaps. I lost few kg and I certainly look better now than I did when 20 if my peers are to be believed.

I wasn't forced but I never expected the option. It was my husband who brought it up though. I fully expected to just drone away in work and waste away in office. It's generally risky for me but we agreed on possible precautions we find fair. I enjoy it alot but some women aren't build for it, some of my mom friends can't wait to get back to work.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/19 10:18 PM

The NZ study you mention in other post can be possibly skewed. In Europe I receive welfare for my kid as part of parental leave. I don't need the money but hey it is nice to have. And 100% get it here since it's money that's supposed to incentive people to start families. Now technically that money is for whole family, (imho it's basically baby reward from state), but statistic data wise women are the predominant receivers.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/19 09:29 PM

Don't be a SHAM without getting married. It's the only safety net you have really.

Depending on the photo I get 49-69% match with Felicity Jones. And yup I can see that Since I cut it my hair is actually exactly same as in this photo just my fringe is reddish. Got higher match with makeup obviously though I generally don't wear it. Oh yea my eyes are tired as fck since the baby. The other site gave me partial match with her too. When you have just one kid you have to be its source of entertainment. Multiple kids can play with each other. And kids are annoying but also super precious. Government's desire for 2+ kids is economical.

Yeah, you are old enough to sign up for war and get blow up by an IED but yur too retarded to read the terms of the prenup when you signed? Wtf kind of excuse is that. he would have to like her more than he loves himself, to put away his own values for the sake of a woman We don't know his values. He could just be petty or jelly, feel inadequate or whatever. Men can have values and not care about n-count. I actually don't even know a man that really cares about n-count that much. How do you think he should have behaved? Talk with her and actually properly breakup with her. Tell her sorry this is a dealbreaker. Not just ghost her without real contact.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/19 04:04 PM

Tbh I wouldn't have an issue if he was so bothered and didn't like her enough to not mind. People can break for whatever reason. But he's being such a bloody drama queen in the way he did. And with the way he pushed it he sounds super insecure.

He said "It's better than working at Microsoft." So basically he said that he wouldn't be thrilled but what's he gonna do. And that he's prostituting his brains for some overlord and it's not that much different. He'd reccomend her to have a plan B for when she's too old to shoot porn. Tbh his stance so far has been that as long as she's in school, not taking drugs and not listening to hip hop he's good with whatever.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/01/19 02:53 PM

I didn't say I'd encourage it 'Yay you go girl.' I said if she's gonna do it anyway I'd prefer her to not contract debilitating disease. My dad encouraged me to go be a cam girl to earn some of my own money I said no thanks and turned out fine as an adult.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/01/19 02:17 PM

Bezoz is not morally justified to have all that money because of his shit business practices. Amazon is not nice company. Ya guys must not be married to someone with business. Wifes don't just ignore the husband's business. She likely offered a support structure emotional and material for him to pursue whatever. You can't build a house without pillars to stand on. Heck I always joke about our 'bathtub conferences' where we talk ideas for whatever project husband is working on.

/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/19 06:18 PM

Idk, I think that is the crux of the issue. Yes I think it is fair to say that women search for best potential mate preferably one that can uplift her offspring. But that is not the same as what RP means when they use hypergamy. Which is something like always leaving good mate for better one when presented with the option.

Not having casual sex is not some unicorn achievement. One could also have had casual sex with beta virgins and not date them. Heck one could have had casual sex with other women. Who I assume are not exactly AF. Not having casual sex doesn't mean you're alpha or beta either. You could possess alpha qualities and just not care about sex that much. There's so many holes in this.

broke guy who was working towards a well paying career That can be said about every guy student ever. Not to mention that when you're 16 it's not exactly a priority because you don't count on it working long term anyway. Why not wait until you’re 32 and have a baby? Down syndrome and other disabilities and fertility issues. Your fucking back. Srsly hit the gym before they come. You'll feel so tired the older you are the worse it gets. Also don't buy new sht for baby, there are perfectly great things on Facebook marketplace that are 1/4 the price. I don't think you can do much, either you got a sleeper or a colicky beast. But you need that restriction to be only temporary one. That kid WILL eventually nap in their bed. Imho husband helping rather than bitching that the exhausted wife won't give him any does wonders for morale. True however if a woman dedicates her life to her career resulting in less or no children it is even worse return for government since it is less future taxpayers. If I giggle and tell you about my day will that mean anything to you? You are not cute baby dude. Also men are not these noble knights that protect their women at the drop of the hat. They also love the attributes women bring to their lives and leave for random reasons. And women don't just love the attributes, their love also means they want to devote their life to care for his wellbeing be a good companion. Ya know, I'm a SHAM and all. But you do know that women work and are able to provide for themselves and fulfill their own dreams regardless of their men? Majority of them do just that. Love for children is just different. It doesn't have to be contest. Or am I to think my husband doesn't love me just cause he adores out daughter?

In that case you can also account for all the forgotten and missed pills. BC ain't foolproof either.

This. Tbh being from yay welfare Europe I could see financial abortion to be a thing. But in the US it sounds like a joke, all want to be absolved of personal responsibility but not willing to support tax system that would allow for it.

Cause there is a precedent with the right to bodily autonomy. What existing principle would this change be based upon?

unless you're gay In my country we got a saying loosely translated: "Better than woman's betrayal, your friend's warm anal." Imo all these guys should follow it.

The data is also pretty insufficient because while he has output response there is no input data. He's not logging how he tried to initiate the sex. I find it surprising but not really that he didn't measure for that. Probably cause he's thinking he's doing everything correctly and it's just woman that is faulty.

I'm sorry for your loss. I apologise for prying but I looked at your posts and just wanna say good luck with the baby! Sometimes it can be frustratingly long time, my sis was trying for 4 years (!) but now she has lil boy and she's over 30. Also hi5 crochet I'm working on a giraffe now too :D

The baby existing or not is irrelevant to the legal construct that has been created that is family law That makes no sense. As one poster here pointed out all that matters legally are rights of the child. Father does not have legal obligation to the mother. He has the legal obligation to the child. Because it is the child (living breathing human being) that has rights. If it doesn't exist it has no rights. Which is why even if there is paper abortion it should only have timeframe of normal abort…

Ideally US would grow up and get maternity like the rest of us. It's great guys, really, that's why everybody else does it. We have maternity then parental leave that is directly followed by kindergarden 10/10 would reccomend.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/18 08:09 AM
2

No not really because in case of abortion there is no human being to be responsible for and they are both absolved. Equivalent would be giving up baby for adoption. The baby existing or not existing IS the crux of the issue. Imo paper abortion could work but it would have to be limited by the same timeframe as real abortion. Which still leaves bunch of issues unresolved if she wants to entrap/hide it (which even if illegal would be unprosecutable)

Now that I think about it still doesn't make the issue wholy equal. Imo paper abortion is ethicaly fair towards the guy but let's entertain the notion. Q: Who does abortion benefit? A: Obviously the woman. But also the man who is benefiting via externality. The state doesn't have to worry about the non-existent child, and there's no child to suffer. Q: Who does the paper abortion benefit? A: Just the man. The woman picked her own fate so whatever but now the state has to deal with and often pay …

/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/18 04:32 PM

Pretty sure postpartum hemorrhoids, incontinence, vaginal/perineal pain, joint aches and plethora of other issues are not just about 'self perception'. I just had a baby so I'd know, my body looks just as flawless as before my insides do not. This stuff ain't about superficial saggy boobs.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/18 03:43 PM
3

Because parental responsibilities are only half of that equation. Pro choice argument is supported by the bodily autonomy principle. If government doesn't have right to give someone your kidney to save someone's life, it shouldn't force you to save/support someone's life via your uterus. I'm not for late term terminations this argument opens, but it's pretty consistent argument.

Male contraceptive pill should come with the benefit of peeing blood and ball cramps 7 days a month. Hey equality! I think they'd be happy to opt for condom. Gosh I've been period free for almost a year and it's such a blessing. It's gonna be such a pain after I stop breastfeeding.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/18 12:46 PM

Saying "oh, an unplanned pregnancy is NBD for a woman, because she can get an abortion" is, like, STUNNINGLY ignorant. Whaaaaat you don't love getting unnecessary, psychologically draining, painful medical procedures?? I'M SHOCKED! Like srsly during certain period I was 100% that I would get abortion in case of an accident but it still friggin terrified me.

I do think that paper abortion with proper checks and balances (like female abortion) is fair. I simply object to the idea of equating it to birth control "cuz baggless banging feels better maaaan". I don't opose the idea just OP's argument.

Sure and women who think they should get BC handed for free are delusional too. There's nothing wrong with wanting to bang without consequence. But if there is a pregnancy there is already consequence. Abortion is supposed to be last resort for when "shit happens" it's not birth control.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/18 10:18 AM

I don't know if every guy would agree but as far as I'm concerned sex with a condom is tantamount to abstinence. Well I asked... "Hey husband is sex without condom more pleasurable?" husband walks around a bit "Eeeeeeeh.......I guess?" Yeah he didn't sound so confident about that terrible abstinence effect.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/18 09:51 AM

extremely elevated pleasure of condomless sex LOL, I would hardly describe it as extremely elevated. Sex without condom is convenient because of all the faffing around condom before the sex but I sure don't have it for 'extremely elevated pleasure'.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/18 09:26 AM

Men have reproductive choices too, you just don't like them. I'm ethically for paper abortion given conditions that women have, but your reasoning around birth control is nonsense.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/18 09:15 AM

Depends. With my long term SO yeah, and he paid for half. But short term condoms are more convenient. I would always insist on condom with some rando cause hello STI.

God I hate imperial system, so imprecise. But my husband is 5'7-8 (172cm) and for me that's pretty much ideal height for hugs. Not so much for high heels but they fucked up my back anyways so I ditched them few years back. But imho small thin works better than stocky squarish.

I did that for about 2 years before the baby was born. (not counting years before as student) My "work" was to make lunch and clean house - which I would do anyways. I helped my husband with game development but time spent on that was minimal (3 days a month) and I offered cause I wanted to be useful, didn't have to do it. I spent most my time gaming.

I wasn't joking when I said he gives the best cuddles. We hugged in a friendly manner and it just was the right kind of squishy. Love at first hug I call it. (I am seriously not kidding) And in my country it is not that weird for a girl to approach a guy if she's interested. Ya know flirting and letting him know she's available so let's go get coffee and chat.

You can do everything right and still fail. Thinking that if you just follow the recipe you will get subject of your desire just because you followed the right order of inputs and being angry when it doesn't happen can be seen as feeling entitled.

Older kids? Perhaps. Young babies though? Idk, I think it's very good for mom to take care of the baby at least as long as she's breastfeeding. Of course the crazy US system where you don't really have maternity doesn't help the situation and women are either forced to pump at work or go for formula. Idealy baby should exclusively breastfeed for 6 months (WHO reccomendation) and majority of women can breastfeed although lot give up for number of reasons. After that sure why not switch. I don't t…

/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/18 09:41 PM

Because guy can pump and dump as many chicks as he wants risk free to himself and some of those kids are likely to survive. It's a shotgun approach. Ppl used to have like 10+ kids some of those are gonna make it. Girl can't afford that because pregnancy/childbirth makes her vulnerable. She can die procreating the guy will be fine regardless of how many kids he makes.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/18 06:09 PM

Because historicaly pregnancy is life threatening condition and you don't want to die bleeding out giving birth? JFC ppl got way too laid back about childbirth as if it's easy. Women always pass their genes maximising strategy is ensuring those genes survive until adulthood.

Personally I never understood why feminists are so desperate to push women into the same soul crushing office cubicle farms that men were pushed into by social pressure. This. Between working a mind numbing office job with hour-ish commute and not having to work being able to spend that time on myself/family I sure know which one I prefer. Majority of people work so they don't starve it's not some super achievement.

It doesn't have to be necessarily about financial status, it can be any aspect in which he is above her. That's nonsensical. Every person excels at different things it is inevitable that a guy will be superior in SOME aspects while she will be superior in others.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/18 02:35 PM

That doesn't have anything to do with the financial status and hypergamy. Why can't woman just like a guy that's about the same level as her? We shared social group, played some DotA, talked anime. He only got to high financial status years later.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/18 02:02 PM

30s DiCaprio is much hotter than when he was a young twink. Young DiCaprio was cuteish. Those are two different measurements of male attractiveness. There's smouldering hot and babyface cute. What you are describing is the second one. Heck George Clooney and Sean Connery both looked better the older they got, same with Robert Downey Jr. Oposite of that you got someone like Tom Holland or Dylan O'brien who are that cute ditzy hot.

In my experience guys I know did get hotter close to 30. Yeah well I'm not the one who produced a list of qualities for wife material that makes having a husband pointless endeavour. :P Also the grand idea of directing woman appears to be 'big picture' of "do stuff to keep the house running". Gee, thanks for your wisdom master. <3

You don't do repairs or mown the lawn daily. The "male jobs" are occasional things. They don't even open jars that often. Apples and oranges.

When you are used to living in a country with reasonable welfare system then single moms on government aid are really least of your problem. I don't think many would consider it issue or burden on their taxes. We got pretty good maternity system, kindergardens and such and I do not really hear about impoverished moms sucking on welfare. They work and live pretty a-ok.

That might be the problem. For lot of guys any sex will do, they get to come anyway. But for women only good sex is the sex that's 'worth' it. So not having any might be preferable to wasting time with bad one.

But I also know having sex for a woman that isn’t aroused is painful. It can cause tearing and bleeding which burns and itches for days when you piss. Ok while I get the larger point you are making in the OP this is really very minor problem/excuse in the world where we have this amazing thing called Lube. Curious. Seems to be two RP stances I see. This thread is pretty much jaded 'It's her obligation to bang me.' I just saw this on r/science and I wouldn't put much weight on the study. I'd recommend reading the discussion there First off is 21 participants. I never though of it in terms of initial attraction. Idk about that. But in relationship I do prefer my partner to be emotionally open with me and I actively encourage him to share. Sometimes you gotta drag it out a bit but ultimately I feel it deepens our bond. We're a team after all. And his emotional openness doesn't mean he can't be a strong support for me as well. Those two qualities are not exclusive to each other.

Somehow this attractiveness = sexual adventuresness does not translate well for me. Just cause he looks good doesn't mean he provides her with more satisfying sex. For example my husband has been praising my looks more when I lost few kilos at around bit before 25. And basically it goes 'You were cute back then (16-24) too but now you are much hotter and more attractive' To note I was not overweight but higher end of normal weight. But a marriage with 10 …

Working women would wish guys would do 50% housework. Teeny tiny number of them do, and even then they sometimes do it in such a way you gotta fix it after them.

Hmm tbh I think skinny is nice enough. When my husband started gym I was quite worried he would get too buff cause I like the slim shape of him. He looks fine now as lean but well defined but if he buffed up too large I would complain. Muscles don't hurt but I don't think it's something women focus on if the guy has an attractive face.

Hmm on the other hand I do like doing my hair. Fun quick hairstyles and braids are nice. But screw putting any product on that I would have to brush it out and that's work.

Hmm very rarely if it's been some time I haven't been in the mood I do either initiate (or just go for BJ) or let him initiate it not cause I feel obligated but more like I feel bit bad for neglecting him and I want to make him feel good even if I'm kinda whatever about the act itself at the moment. But if I'm not into it at all and then I just say so and that's that I don't force myself. At the same time he's the same if he's not feeling it that's it I gotta suck it up. No fake orgasms, I find …

I don't think a man will specifically notice the nails or the hair but it adds points to the overall picture which is something he will notice. It's like all the little details that make the whole artwork great but you wouldn't necessarily look at each of the details themselves.

I go to the gym and lift weights. I don't do makeup. Makeup and more importantly removing makeup is 1000% more annoying busywork. Gym is fun in comparison :D I'm half joking but I just hate removing makeup man. D:

Choking as a play is also really bloody dangerous. It's bad idea to do a/o setting the rules first. I also found out that for example I am into the idea of it in theory but in practice it does nothing for me even though I still like the idea of it. :/ You also put it well with the dinner. If a guy invites me to dinner I would expect he's interested in relationship rather than casual sex on the first date. It's considered much more romantic gesture.

I find the idea of diner and sex riddiculous in the first place. I stuffed myself with all this food and they expect me to be into sex on a full stomach? And also they expect to perform on a full stomach?! I don't want to listen to the sloshing sounds of your stomach above me man. Bad idea.

Lol nope. Like my preferred position can switch from day to day just depending on the mood. This stuff is not set especially with women. Just cause something is awesome one day doesn't mean it can't suddenly be unpleasant under different circumstances. Edit: corrected the autocorrect mess

Pretty sure Jezebel is widely riddiculed online like a swamp it is. Just cause more people read it doesn't mean it's respected or anything. People read all kinds of dumb rags like The Sun.

The RoK is intellectually insulting any day of year regardless of gender. It's about as 'on point' as Jezebel's articles. I could just as well say that the toxicity in League of Legends proves that men are fueled mainly by emotions. Would be about as accurate.

Right this. No marriage no kids, that kind of environment seems way too unstable to bring a child into and it's protection for both the mother and the kids. Tbh I like being married but I wanted the wedding itself more than marriage, could be fine to do it symbolically without the legal documents, but since we did the one we might as well do the other.

It could just be youthful rebellion. I didn't get or like girly things and preferred to play with boys. Only at high school I started wearing skirts and heels and all that jazz. I love girly things now tho and fell in love with pink :D. So she can still get over it.

Well funnily enough, I am 26 and thinking back ten years ago I started dating my now husband who was 22 at the time (I approached him) so it's somewhat of a personal experience for me. We both liked anime, video games, metal you can have plenty of common interests and romantic chemistry. There is not really a social stigma around it in my country, my parents didn't bat an eye and I only met with disapproval when talking about it with people from US. Which is why I posed the question about the cu…

I don't see how maturity and experience would be barrier to a healthy relationship provided the older party is not manipulating the younger. Which would make it creepy. High schoolers and uni students aren't that drastically different.
