Being a woman definitely helps you get an open ear. When many women hear talk of men's issues from men, there is an automatic assumption of ill intent. The opposite is true when they hear it from women.

Your comment reads like incoherent schizo ramblings. You might've been on to something, but it's so incredibly hard to decipher out of your padded room style of writing that it's essentially gibberish.

Don't bother, comrade. This sub is full of folks who have been raised to hate and villainize Marxist ideology and class consciousness.

Fascist and socialist are two diametrically opposed positions though. How many buzzwords do you need to throw around?

Given that I am likely being monitored, and an attorney has advised that I don't discuss too much detail, I unfortunately can't. As much as I'd like to, the story is fairly specific as well, and might end up doxing myself. Thank you though, bro

Some nights I'm just not sure how much more I can take. It seems like when I'm not numb I feel either anger or overwhelming sadness and I just feel like this is no way to live. Frankly I'm only here because my dog needs me, and I think only 2 humans would miss me, tops.

If you think the IDF will honor that deal, then I have a bridge to sell you.

I feel like we should encourage men to be more open about our emotions... Problem is, we keep them contained the way we do as a trauma response to our collective cultural upbringing. We are raised being told that we don't get to show weakness and that our emotions are only valid if they benefit women. And these women have been raised being told that this is the way we should be, whether they realize that it's damaging to us or not. And of course, any time a feminist realizes that this is bad for…

For the last few days, I'd been really feeling shitty. But I'm starting to feel a bit better, I've gotten recognition and commendation from my employer, and I'm slowly getting myself back in shape

Struggling hard with catastrophizing friendship issues. A friend of mine is a great guy but doesn't communicate for shit through either text or call. He's one of my only friends, not to mention we've know each other since childhood. He's been extra flakey lately and my mind started going ham with that fact. Doesn't help that I'm currently going through a depressive episode (which would probably kill me if I didn't take antidepressants), so today has been anxiety hell. I'm gonna see him tomorrow …

Spoken like someone who has never had a gun pointed at them. You will not be able to more fast enough to grab their gun before they put a quarter sized hole through your body. All they need it to squeeze the trigger, and you're dead. On the other hand, you would need to be able to grab the gun, move it out of the way, presumably either wield it yourself (so turn it 180 and then make sure you get a grip) or toss it away. If you toss it away, chances are you won't be out of range by the time they …

Yep. In most states, when we go to sign up to vote, they will check to see if you've registered for selective service. If you haven't, you will not be able to vote and can get in huge legal trouble. They love to casually make that threat and then dangle a sign up sheet in front of you...
