I've only worked internships, but political correctness is still a very strong strong factor in what defines a work places culture in both the largest global banks, and the smaller local places. My last corporate internship (and the last thing that RP'ed me) was a job with a turbo feminist at a wealth management boutique. Our clients were family court lawyers and I learned a lot about the harsh realities of the divorce system through casual talk with them that I'd later discover here through oth…

Nothing is more cringe than watching a person inadvertently reveal how easy they have it in life when a simple "no" causes them to think they're oppressed. Begging for free shit like this should result in being banned

Another person suggested meditation. I'm about to do a lot of painful digging until I hit rock bottom. I suspect the pain will be worth it, since you seem to have wisdom to your words Thank you for your comment

Therapists are hacks. Totally agree. Maybe it's because my uncle really wanted to help me but still has an NPC mindset, so he trusts "nametag" professions blindly. But after seeing what I did, there's no way in hell I'd ever consider a therapist a "doctor" in the slightest. About to do some crafting and aquarium scaping, just to put my mind at ease Thank you for your comment

Meditation was one thing I've feared since it requires me to look deep into all my pain points, but fuck it; I want to get better. I'll take this and your word that it helps Thank you for your comment

Restraint and discipline are two things I'm about to seriously crack down on. Going to fill in time with exercise and a hobby too like you suggested. Appreciate the time for your input and will put it to use Thank you for your comment

Sounds like a good idea, in a non-traditional sense. Does surviving in the woods help me understand what I'm truly capable of? At the very least this type of challenge will help me understand what I can overcome Thanks for your comment

Working in high finance is the worst thing for your mental health. I'll find more honest work when I get better, or soon if that takes too long Thanks for your comment

Thank you brotha I asked the mangina feminist guy how he calls himself a "doctor" and he just got pretty triggered and called me a virgin. The mental health industry in the west is a joke Thank you for your comment

I'm doing everything you suggest by myself before I posted here and it still doesn't scratch at the problem. Maybe it's because I've been depressed my whole life. I've never really talked about to other people (except my parents and retard "professionals") but spelling it out loud like this really makes me realize that I'll always be a bitch who complains. I guess I'll have to tough t out and just prevent myself from feeling any worse

Anti depressants that my dumb mom made me take a while back prevent me from doing that; but thank you very much for the suggestion

I’m still in the process of deciding based on my options, and would like to hear the experiences of others here for consideration. I own most of my own decisions but I also like to be informed
