Red FlagsHad #2, 3 and 4. And I'll add: We moved very very fast. She was living with me after 1 month of dating. It was supposed to be temporary, but her new apartment never materialized. She spent most of the day with a guy whom she had told me she previously had dated, but had thought was gay and that he had said he had a huge crush on her. During the time she was with him, I didn't hear from her, despite sending a text or two. I nearly broke up with her that night. Was extremely tough on her siblings,… | /r/Divorce_Men | 13/02/20 06:49 PM
Newly Divorced from a Narcissist, looking for some wisdom on healing.Man, brutal weekend. 11 months out, and I still have moments of absolute sadness. I sometimes wonder if I was too nice and had I been more aloof and/or avoidant, she would have behaved differently. But the truth is, we would have fallen off the rails somewhere else, some other time. It's best to be true to who you are, rather than try to figure out or fix difficult people. Still, so hard to accept at times. Like you said, I couldn't believe she choose me. But now, I wish whomever she's dating be… | /r/Divorce_Men | 10/02/20 08:32 PM
Newly Divorced from a Narcissist, looking for some wisdom on healing.Mine was more subtle but definitely a narc. Married 4 years, but only together 5. She love bombed me in the beginning and was living with me after 4 weeks- it was supposed to be temporary but her new apartment never materialized. She gaslighted me to the point that I thought our relationship failings were entirely my fault, despite that I wanted to continue working on it, especially since we have a young daughter together. My struggle now is she’s going to be fine and none of our friends seem to… | /r/Divorce_Men | 07/02/20 01:03 AM
How Many Of You Men Plan On Ever Getting Married Again?I’d like to get married again but two times up, two strikeouts so far. I did get an amazing daughter out of the bargain- Wish I could have more. And wish I could find my second ex’s crazy pills and throw them out. She was perfect except for a little bitty narcissistic streak. | /r/Divorce_Men | 27/08/19 10:47 PM
Sleeping on my couch under a scratchy afghan blanket...why?Depression can be pretty severe. I know nothing about your situation or your wife, but I know depression well and it’s not uncommon for those who have it to not have the motivation or confidence to seek help and/or work on it. I also know getting on the right medication can make a world of a difference. And I’m not saying these things could save your marriage or if you even want to. | /r/Divorce_Men | 26/08/19 09:13 PM

Tables are starting to turn on her. And I don’t like it...Has this ever happened tho, where a narcissist grows up and disavows her narcissistic beliefs and behaviors? I can see a narcissist improving marginally, but breaking through on the other side? Not likely. | /r/Divorce_Men | 30/07/19 12:15 PM
Post-Divorce Intensive CareYup. It’s the worst thing I’ve ever experienced and I’ve been broke, went through a period of extended unemployment, lost my hearing and had major surgeries. It gets better tho. And I feel if I make it through, I will be stronger and wiser than I’ve ever been. I do also wish people were more open about what marriage takes and how much hard work and commitment it is. There are too many out there with unrealistic expectations. | /r/Divorce_Men | 16/07/19 08:51 PM
Really struggling todayI’m literally in the same boat as you and artisticquality: Separated 4 months, just turned 44. It hurts most because like you said, she focused completely on the negatives and just gave up. It’s going to take time for me to get my mental health back but it’s my priority at the moment. Has to be. Not only divorces knock your confidence, but when you’re the one who doubled down and tried to fight for it. And then to be giving what I think are bs reasons for falling out of love. All of it is painfu… | /r/Divorce_Men | 28/06/19 10:09 PM
