I don’t know if it’s true but apparently Perrie’s brother is in the military and her family is quite far right/ racist and that would justify it I guess? One of the reasons Zayn left 1D was because none was defending him when he was victim of racism (he was a teen when he got into 1D) and the fact that he left Petrie around the same time makes me believe the rumours about Perries family could be true. But again, I don’t know. It’s just a rumour. But anyways yes I agree with the post. I was think…

They should have learned this from their parents and if they are adults struggling with their emotions they should go to a therapist and if they can’t afford it there are tons of free sources and material online about handling emotions. It’s not our responsibility to teach them that crying is ok. They are adults and they are responsible for their own emotions.

We went from men secretly abusing women and them being too afraid to speak up (it still happens I know) to men simply saying they have a kink and having hundred of women willing to be abused. I feel like we are going backwards. Fun fact about me is that I used to be into BDSM (never tried it in real life) and I can assure you all this men are low value. Some women have this 50 shades of Grey fantasy but I promise you a rich, charming and handsome men won’t be into this. It’s the men who have bee…

I may be in the minority here but I think it’s better keeping separate finances. Where I live it’s always been done like this and makes marriage more easy and simple. However I’m against the 50/50 mentality for this exact reason. This is what happens when you marry this type of men. And as others have said he should be paying all medical bills as she is the one who has the burden of carrying a baby for 9 months in her body and this implies a tremendous effort.

I noticed that too. Men love to play the victim. And some feminists fall into this. I’ve see so many feminist accounts claiming that feminism is for men and we should teach men that crying is okay and we should care for their feelings. And I’m wondering in what way does society helps more women than men with their emotions? If a man can’t bring himself to go to a psychologist it’s his fault. It’s not our problem.

I feel like this is fake. Why is the boyfriend not in jail? Why didn’t she get a restriction order? If the ex presses charges against them they could possibly both end in jail. I mean the girl maybe no but the current boyfriend for sure would end up in jail.

A man just murdered five people in a shooting in the UK, including his sister and mother. He also killed him self. People are calling him an incel. He clearly hated women because they never gave him a chance (trust your gut feeling, women never have him a chance and he turned out to be a mass murderer). Somehow we should be more kind to men and lower our standards so they don’t feel hopeless and they don’t go on a murder spree.

I always have been told I look younger. I’m 23 but if I buy alcohol they still ask for me ID (legal drinking age is 18). If people have to guess my age they say I must be 17. However the last time I got cat called was at the age of 14/15 if I’m not wrong. Now as an adult woman I understand why my mom didn’t let me go to a friends house unless she only lived with her mother, she didn’t allow me to go to pijama parties, etc. It got to a point that I’m afraid of having kids because I don’t know wha…

In what country is this? As a Muslim woman who grew up in the west I’ve sadly seen cases of forced marriages. The stereotype of religious father who forces her daughters to wear hijabs is not always true. One case I know was a girl who studied with me. She dressed in western clothes and didn’t wear the hijab. She would always show up at class with makeup and dressing fancy clothes. When she was 15 she started dating a Spanish boy. It was a small town and when people found out they were quick to …

When you get married in Islam as a woman your fiancé has to give you money. Before marrying you both have to agree on how much money he will give you. You have to demand the money you want and if you don’t reach an agreement you don’t get married. I say money but it can be other things like giving you property or even gold and expensive jewellery. But that’s a rural and old fashioned thing. In Muslim countries when you get married you don’t merge your finances together. The husband has to pay fo…

I used to work in a grocery store. We had kids(I’m from a very small town) come and buy for their parents without a list. Their parents would send them to buy just a few things because they are still kids but they knew exactly what brands to buy and were perfectly capable of doing such a simple task. The idea of my husband not being capable to memorise what brands we use at home and what products to buy is ridiculous. And it would never cross my mind to share the incompetence of my useless husba…

(Sorry for the long comment lol) One of my friend was explaining me about her ex. His third wife (my friend was the second wife) is suing him for child support. We don’t have something like spousal support in my country . My friend was bragging about how she never asked for money and how she is a better woman. Let’s analyse: she had two daughters, had to work shitty jobs while raising them, sometimes she had to get two jobs to save up money. Meanwhile the ex husband would have the girls over for…

Worst part is that on average an only fans user makes around 100$ it’s only the girls who were famous before and another few that make so much money. But some people are dumb enough to fall for this publicity.

What makes me mad is that this white western feminists are pro prostitution because they know they will never have to get a job like this and they won’t suffer the consequences of legalising sex work. And please don’t get me wrong, I don’t want anyone to suffer this. But the entitlement and ignorance of this “feminists” is not only extremely annoying but also dangerous for immigrants and poor women.

I hate when people call her a gold digger. She studied in a top university in the US, she is clearly intelligent and could have achieved success without Jeff Bezos. And she helped him crate Amazon. When they started having kids she decided to step down from her job to raise the kids so Jeff Bezos could dedicate all her energy to Amazon. It’s a team job. And he was the one who cheated.

Men who talk about the wall are delusional and pedophiles. I don’t know how this started but a lot of men think women after the age of 25 stop being desirable and they should have secured a boyfriend by then. Why? Because older men don’t like mature women. Their mindset goes like “30 years old women are looking to date us while we only would date a girl in her early twenties” They really think an 18 year old is into +30 men because they are “mature, intelligent, and handsome in a different way” …

I also should have mentioned this. I would like to have kids. And it’s pretty much what you said. And it’s the mother taking more time of leave during pregnancy, it’s the mother who has more chances of being fired, etc. That’s also an important reason. I’m not having kids with a broke man.

My reasons for not dating broke men: 1. If they become successful they will leave you for a younger woman. I know there is this romantic idea of struggling and building a life together, and be the woman who will stick with him no matter what. But for what I’ve seen in real life men who become successful tend to leave their partners to look for someone “better” or they end up resenting the wife as they think they could have done better. 2. I also know poverty, I don’t want to be there. I struggle…

That’s the scary part for me. She probably is afraid of being seen as a psycho and doesn’t express her emotions or when she’s angry at him. First because she is “not like other girls” she is not an irrational psych. And second, this man told her very early on the relationship he would be willing to hit her.

It was a video of two teens. One girl and one boy. The girl was hitting the boy and before the teacher could separate them the boy pushed back the girl and she fell. The comments were the typical ones of “women always think they can hit men without any consequences” etc. Idk about other countries but in mine 98% of violent assaults are committed by men but you know how they love to play the victim. And she somehow felt the need to share this and felt proud about it.

I don’t know if I’m reading too deep into this but it feels like he could be gas lighting her. Like every time she gets mad or emotional he would be “oh so you are like one of those psychos?” And she would be too afraid to take the arguments farther because he has already said he would be willing to hit her.

I was told the same but we see it differently I guess. I always had been told you can divorce your husband if he unfulfilled his roles in the marriage. That includes cheating, not providing for you, mistreating or beating you and I even remember not pleasuring you. I will definitely check the Quran (I never truly read it). But you definitely cannot get a divorce just because you “don’t love him anymore” or because you fell in love with someone else. And well then as you said there’s the option o…

Idk about America. I just heard about a lot of Arabs in the US having to register as white because there is no Arabs option. Here in the UK I’ve only been asked once my ethnicity and it was in a Access to Higher Education course. I don’t know why they need that information if I have to be honest. Before the UK I lived in Spain and I never got asked about my race.

I don’t get it honestly. Divorce in Islam is allowed. Sure, it should be always the last option. But it’s an option. I don’t get where this mentality comes from. But good for you to get out of that situation

Yes amazigh and Berber means the same. Amazigh means “free people” and Berber means “barbarian” and some people find Berber offensive. If I have to be honest I don’t know what race I would call myself. I call myself Amazigh because that’s my ethnicity but when I have to chose I say Arab because that’s the only option I get.

Yes! Following this subreddit and other feminist accounts really opened my eyes. They isolate and shame the women who divorce so we, the younger generation, will fear to end up isolated like them and will accept all bad treatment we may get from unfair marriages. I’m so glad more and more women are opening their eyes.

In my community we have the problem that mothers spoil a lot their sons and when they get married they expect their wife to be like a second mother. And we have this mothers with useless sons that can’t even make breakfast for themselves, smoke, drink alcohol and sleep with every girl they can expecting to find a perfect virgin Muslim woman who will serve them. In my culture it’s not that common to move with your in laws but we also have our own problems with crazy mothers in law.

Yea but they are the same race. I’m not arab either, I’m amazigh. But it’s more of a cultural difference than race. The amazighs were the people that historically lived in the North of Africa (except Egypt) and then we got invaded by the Arabs. But people say that it was a cultural/religious invasion. A lot of North Africans have some Arab ancestry (from the gulf countries I mean, like Saudi Arabia) but the difference between amazighs and North African Arabs is cultural. When I moved to the UK I…

I don’t know to be honest. I’m Moroccan and there are black people there. That’s not my case. I’ve been told that the US when you have to register your race there isn’t an “arab/North African” option and they have to register as white. Which I find very problematic because it’s like erasing their heritage. In the UK when they ask our race we have the “Arab” option and we are considered a racial minority. And the black Moroccans usually will call themselves black and Arabs. We are very diverse wh…

I need to talk about the H3 guy. He made a whole video talking about one plus size model (I don’t remember her name). And I mean she is obese. But this man made a 12 minute video on how she was so fat and how she has accomplished nothing (“congrats for eating an ice cream” I think was what he said) and therefore she shouldn’t get any admiration. The other day I was talking to an Asian coworker about dating while being a minority. I’m North African and white men tend to think I’m the submissive type of girl who will be at the kitchen preparing meals after meal for them. That’s so annoying. The truth is I love cooking and baking and I would randomly prepare stuff for my family and friends. But if a man asks me if I know how to cook I always say no and it will take a lot of time for me to start making this efforts for him. I mean when we a…

In my experience the most ugly men are the ones with the worse personality and they project A LOT. Therefore they will judge you a lot and try to create insecurities. Normal and handsome men depends. Some are good people, some are polite, some are rude... You never know. Like before I used to feel bad for avoiding ugly man. Because I was being too superficial. But now I just don’t care. I agree. This girl said she has a visual disability and maybe she truly needed the help. But in normal circumstances I would just cut contact. Maybe this is an exception but I wouldn’t keep in touch with my ex. And I wouldn’t appreciate dating someone who is always playing the saviour with his ex.

I can imagine how that is. I’m North African but I live in Europe. There are enough of North Africans to the point we created our own community. So every time a woman gets a divorce she gets shamed by the community but luckily we live in a country with plenty of support for single moms and girls from my generation are starting to speak up against all of this. I can’t even imagine how bad it would be back in North Africa...

Man in my culture usually live with their parents until they get married. Even if they have a job they don’t have to contribute to the household and not even helping with chores. Moms usually spoil a lot their kids so I guess when they get married they expect their wife’s to take on all the work and chores.
