You should focus on making your life as great as possible. That involves asking girls out. But if you're working on making your life great, you're not gonna have time to worry about exactly how to phrase your texts to a girl. And it makes you more attractive that your focus is on something else. Just be straight up. And again, the focus is on living your life the way you want, not "how the fuck do I get this girl to say yes." Read Models by Mark Manson.

My game is mostly through text. I was able to text girls for months and I am actually still in contact with a girl whom I've never really met for over 6 years now. That sounds horrible. The full audiobook of Models by Mark Manson. In case you're like me, and prefer listening to books over reading them. Personally, I've listened my way through the whole book during the past couple of weeks. Really recommend this to anyone.

I agree with your outlook on life. However, arguing with redditors who aren't interested in reaching an understanding is a waste of your valuable time - it's an endless hole. Let her discover you're an interesting guy. Don't hide the interesting stuff about you. However, don't talk too much. Don't tell her your whole life story. Just let her see the tip of the iceberg (your personality and interests), and ask her questions to get her to talk about her life and what she does.
